With the original version of this thread now wilting away, it feels like a good time for a clean slate.

This is a place to discuss the journey each of us has gone on and is going on throughout the hobby. Tell us how you got started in tabletop Roleplaying games, tell us what games you’ve played, tell us what games you’re excited to try next, tell us what your favorite die type is. Anything that celebrates the diversity of the hobby and your personal experience is more than welcome.

This is not a place to edition war, or to compare the systems others bring up to your preferred system. All views are welcome but I would prefer it not devolve into a constant focus on one system.

8 years into its life and two years shy of its next edition refresh on its 50h Anniversary Wizards of the Coast just posted their most profitable year in history.

5th Edition restored D&D’s place as the #1 selling game, and it has grown to the point where the #2 game can scarcely catch it. Now in a class by itself, how long much higher can it go? Will the refresh lower sales or raise it to even greater heights in 2024!

Just wanted a little clarification. Got an email notification saying that the shipping estimate for my copy of Secrets of Magic was Wednesday the 25th. The order information on the website says it shipped on Friday the 20th. In either case it has been more than 3 days since the book shipped and the tracking has not updated.

I’m just curious if you can tell me what date it actually shipped on and if you are able to check the tracking info on it.

This is the same thing that happened with my copy of the GMG which needed to be resent.

Received email on the 18th saying book was shipping soon and should be in transit for 4-8 days. Included in the email was a tracking ID. Tracking ID shows no data, says to contact shipper if no information appears after 3 days.

10 days later, no Tracking data, no book, order shows as “Complete” on site.

I heard from several people who had ordered their PF2 Cores after I did that they were receiving notifications of receipt of payment and that their books are due to be shipped out. I had seen no such thing, so I logged into my account to look at my order and saw that I needed to update my credit card information.

I had used my card on file and it expired and was replaced between pre order and now, but I had received no notification from you that I needed to do this. I've now updated the information and I wanted to confirm that this error would not preclude me from getting my preorder on launch day.
