I completely agree with the camp defending the price here, considering I get the PDF and the whole thing all prepped in Foundry the price is well worth it to me. This is a beautifully prepared adventure path with hundreds of hours of play time. I've purchased the Beginner Box, Abomination Vaults, and Kingmaker so far for Foundry and don't regret a single one of the purchases for even one second.

Especially if you take a minute to realize that all of the assets in these modules are reusable for other games if you want to use them that way.

No I am not one of the module developers :).

Thanks for all the hard work put in to this!

I should also add that I've purchased the Bestiaries token pack and it is absolutely amazing too. So much time and effort put in to these products.

I'm definitely looking forward to this, I played PF1 and SF1 for many years, eventually switching over to PF2. I really enjoyed Starfinder but I can see how it would really benefit from many of the design changes in PF2. Tracking KAC, EAC, HP, SP, RP, and often an additional type of point such as evolution points and possibly spell slots on top of all of that got really tiresome after a while. I would welcome the change to just AC, HP, and focus points. Hopefully that's the direction they are going!

Are there battle maps for all of the encounter locations with walls, lighting and ambient sounds and things placed? I don't see that mentioned anywhere in the descriptions or the screenshots. Looks interesting! I was trying to figure out what to run after my current Abomination Vaults campaign finishes and this looks great.
Yes! I have the module and all the maps in the book are represented with lighting, walls and placed NPCs. Each room has journal notes attached and the journal has a custom UI. The only thing that was missing, in opinion, was ambient sounds and music. But that’s easy enough to add. Running my first session of it next week!

Thanks for the response!

It's great to see Foundry support for Starfinder! I moved away from Starfinder a while back at least partially due to the excellent support for PF2e in Foundry, I was just running out of time to prep everything myself. Currently GM'ing the Abmomination Vaults and enjoying it! That said I would definitely come back to Starfinder if they released the full Scoured Stars AP in the same fashion.

Is there a listing on the site somewhere of all of the pawns included in this set?

Also please remove everything from my sidecart, I forgot to include that in my subscription cancellation request.

Are these (Starfinder Spell cards and Alien Archive Battle Cards) physical products only or are we getting a corresponding pdf/image file downloadable version too? I'll probably opt out of these if they are physical only.
All our cards have pdf/image file downloadable versions as of June 2019.

That's great, thanks Aaron.

Is the character builder up yet?
Hi Terevalis - Our character builder and an interactive digital character sheet will be introduced later in Early Access, closer to full launch (Q1 2022). Now that we have opened Early Access, we will be releasing content regularly - you can stay informed about what's coming next as part of our weekly Development Updates on Demiplane's Twitch channel -- twitch.tv/DemiplaneRPG

So I'm kind of hijacking this thread but I would like to put in my vote for a Starfinder version of this product. I had subscribed to the "other" online paid product but found virtually no use for it as a GM and the missing features (starships, starship combat, no GM AP content) just made it not worth it so I dropped my subscription after a few months.

Demiplane has publicly shared that they have the license to Starfinder and will consider it based on demand. We'd love it if you told them directly. They will want to focus on Pathfinder first.

I will absolutely tell them directly!

How is this useful at all? Rebuying content in different formats is CURSE. There should be no extra cost over something like this if people have already bought it digitally directly.

Yeah, It's deeply frustrating and price prohibitive to have the official online platform for pathfinder content be so expensive for content users already own. On top of that, the fact that there isn't even a discount offered if you only purchased a physical rulebook instead of the PDF is just shafting the players and GMs who like having a physical book to reference but still use digital tools for their games.

As someone who has been buying physical rulebooks since the launch of PF2E, I and I imagine a lot of others have spent a significant amount of money to support all the amazing content Paizo has released for this system. On top of that, many of us have then spent that money all over again in order to get access to that content through sites like HeroLab. To have Paizo announce PathfinderNexus as the "official digital toolset of Pathfinder Second Edition" but force the people who have been supporting this system for a long time to have to rebuy in for every single piece of content is, in my eyes an egregious error.

It would be one thing if the cost for already owned sources was closer to $5-10. I get that there is labor that goes into converting these books into a usable format in Demiplane and ensuring all the rules and options contained in these books are integrated into the digital toolset being offered. There can certainly be a price attached to these items to ensure that the people doing that work are getting paid fair wages, but asking people to spend over $100 for content they already own is just a bit ridiculous.

Is there any digital toolsets that offer a discount for just owning the physical copy but not the PDF?

I'm not sure how that would work, how would you prove that you owned the physical copy?

Yep I'm still interested, should have time to work up my character tonight, just internally coming up with the basics. Where should I be posting or should I just PM you?

I've never done play by post before but I'm happy to give it a shot. If you could just point me at the general guidelines for the game I will read and comply :). I see the build instructions in the top post so I will start on that tonight if I can, and thanks for the chance to join in!

Hello, what's the play method for these games? I wouldn't mind jumping in the Kingmaker game as a dwarven cleric possibly?
