A player of mine is saying he read that you can legally take a feat without meeting pre-reqs. Does anyone know if this is ever the case besides bonus feats available to classes that specifically say you do not have to meet the prereqs. Such as monks and rangers for example.

On pp.496 of the core rulebook it states on the chart "Table 15-17" a level one spell "let's say CLW" with 50 charges cost 750gp. How come is the feat is only available at lvl 5, are you figuring a level 1 caster to have created it? Shouldn't it be as per the formula printed, Spell Level (1) X the creator's caster level (min. 5 as per feat req.) X 750gp? Any direction as to where this is clarified would be great.
You can create magic items at a lower CL than your own, in this case saving 3000 gp.

Thanks to all of you for speedy reply's

Making the Wand of Cure Light Wounds cost 3750gp?

Ok I have a player wanting a Falchion wielding magus. Would this be the same as the curved blade or would he not be able to do spell combat as it doesn't have finessable properties of the Curved Blade?
Falchion runs into the same issue as the curved blade, falchion is a two-handed weapon. The issue isn't if it can be finessed, which it cannot, but spell combat requires one free hand. However,if you're the GM, you always have the option of doing a house rule that would allow the use of a 2 handed weapon.

Thank you, that is basically where I am at and what I told my players. "If I decide to allow it, it would be a house rule." I am still undecided yet am considering allowing it.

say I create a summoner with bipedal eidolon. Say I give it 2 more arms through evolutions and pick up the multiattack feat. Are the 4 claws considered primary and if I use 4 simple weapons instead are the simple weapons secondary. And in this case the 4 weapon attacks will be at -2 each? could this player alternately call the weapon attacks primary and the claws secondary?

I had a discussion with our new GM on alchemical silver and bludgeoning weapons like a mace but more importantly brassknuckles. His argument is this statement in the rules. On a successful attack with a silvered slashing or piercing weapon, the wielder takes a -1 penalty on the damage roll. It didn't say anywhere a bludgeoning weapon can't be silvered. That statement to me says piercing and slashing weapons take -1 damage. Possibly to represent the silvering process keeps the weapon somewhat dulled by the process.--opinions?

Yeah, the idea behind Brass Knuckles was to stop hosing over Monks with DR-related issues. So it sure is both material-able and enchant-able.

Thanks guys I was under that same impression as well just wanted a little feedback. On a like note, are cestus much the same? The description doesn't state you can use your unarmed damage. I assume you can't because it adds piercing to the type of damage you can do and has a higher chance to crit.

Since a monk can do his unarmed damage with brassknuckles, can he also have say silvered and ironknuckles to overcome DR's of fey and lycanthropes? My vote is yes but wanted a few opinions if not an official thread already answering this question.
