They should NOT say "Achievement" (everyone else does it so it isn't special anymore) instead you should receive a "Feat Achieved" Message to remain consistent with tabletop experience, if anyone disagrees with me, your GM probably never really awarded you feats for things you've done, the only ones that you received were level based but the GMs are encouraged to award "Feats" to players who roleplay or do their job well, these feats should have a very minor impact on the game similar to the bestiary quests in Warhammer online (Rest in peace). Also look at Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland for the Playstation 3, you gain License Level benefits as you progress which all have gameplay influence, it takes a little bit to get into but the game is fun. I hope That Pathfinder Online will stick closer to the overall feel of the tabletop game rather than compete with MMOs that are already terrible.

I don't play WoW, do I hate it? Only because I find it not enjoyable, I liked Warhammer Online, EVE, & the original Everquest.

Here's one for you: page 160 Jack-O'-Lantern. It shows a Monstrous Humanoid icon but labels it as a "Plant". Also it uses the underground icon but under the Appendices is listed many places but
NOT underground Here is my solution: Treat the Jack-O'-Lantern uniquely as both a Plant and a Monstrous Humanoid because when you look at it you do see a monstrous humanoid but also a plant: What makes it a monstrous humanoid? Similar to humanoids -check, Monstrous or animalistic features -monstrous check, magical abilities -check; What makes it a plant? Vegetable creature -check. So grant all bonuses and penalties for both types if they are present, however I think this book should have went through the editing phase one more time by actual fans... we'd be happy to help just for a glimpse of the wonders within!

I like Saint's Row The Third, Soul Calibur 5 & DCUO's character builders. I really like how in DCUO I never have to look like anyone else or move in their manner. I suggest a system like Saints Row the Third to allow people to have customization shops for new content for older characters. Equipment is a huge part of a character (even though it is NOT the character) I love how in DCUO I can wear any designs I want (I can even hide them if I choose). To me character customization and a non-existant "end game" are the most important features I am looking forward to.

I strongly dislike games that expect me to "pay to play" and offer nothing except one route in a tree to build power (because the others are useless in comparison) and identical armor copies for everyone!

So in the way the "end-game" crisis has been solved for me I hope that Pathfinder online could learn from Soul Calibur 5, Saints Row The Third and DCUO for character customization!

As of today the boost kickstarter for Pathfinder Online is @ 49%, 18 days to go, the great majority of people on this board desire this above all else. I urge those amongst us that can afford even $1 to donate to the Pathfinder Online here:

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1675907842/pathfinder-online-a-fantasy- sandbox-mmo

It isn't the tabletop game we know and love, instead it is another incarnation of the will of the players that play it. They appear to be going to great lengths to make it 1. Challenging 2. "Fair" 3. Cooperative 4. Competitive & 5. Endless. I am a backer because I believe this is the best opportunity for those who want to actually make an impact to do so, I have most of the hardback books quite a few adventure modules & paths and I will still support this.

Maybe they could mix-n-match some of the ideas with tight tie-ins, like these old ruins were discovered a long time ago, but during the excavation many workers died and whoever was excavating the ruins decided to bury the dead not too far but the ruins had evil magic that turned the buried dead into undead abominations, I don't know maybe find the guy's journal to explain the situation.

Group Request Boards. In game "bulletin boards" in every town with messenger birds or magic to tell you who is interested, it should cost 1 copper piece to post a request and 1 copper piece to respond to a request. There should be a "magical" group chat like chatroom telepathy for parties that aren't very close to members, I think you should have to do some minor quests to earn features like this because not everyone in a realistic world setting (even with magic applied) would have telepathic or magical abilities melee classes are PRIME examples in every iteration of D&D/PF. "I'll ATTACK!"

Playing Solo: Can my Deity heal me? Look if I have a deity and do what it says (quest style called "Pilgrimage"- "Find a lair", "Forge a sword", "Slay a dragon", "Pray at my alter [character only, no actual praying required lol]"), the more I do for my deity the more "healing surges" (please call it blessings or something else) I get per day, 2 types: consumable blessings and hourly blessings, if you are waiting for the recharge you can use a consumable blessing, which are only given for completing Deity Pilgrimage Quests (DPQs).

A "system" like this would allow people to play solo more efficiently without "wasting" character resources and sacrificing character levels in order to simply survive. It would also give a new feeling to the game which would feel more like an elder scrolls game because deities in most MMOs are USELESS.

Please tell me that "alignment" won't be a HUGE factor like in the early days of D&D, for instance I prefer the "Karma" scale like Fallout: New Vegas which is faction (and "Guild") oriented rather than oh your paladin CAN'T do THAT! because 2 "Lawful Goods" WILL FIGHT over a dungeon entrance with a system like this and the victor will somehow become more evil... under Book rules.

"Module" tie-ins? The PFRPG (book based version) has a TON of modules and specific areas in the world where they take place,it would be amazing to go into certain regions and find a 6 part adventure based on the modules, this could easily be a tie-in to market place or premium service level transactions: take "Fallout 3: The Pitt" for example you receive a distress call and can head to the location, or in PFO you can receive mail requesting assistance when new parts of the adventures come out with a quest mark on the map, these should be semi-instanced quests where you go to the location normally but once you choose "head out" after talking to the specific NPC questgiver you are in an instance, after you complete a section of the adventure path the NPCs sync with your questlog to mention your successes during the instance or the new threat or whatever. If you are a "premium subscriber" or have purchased the adventure path in whole or part you should get a discount on a PDF version to help increase their sales, and maybe release a full adventure path as a single PDF! This would have a positive effect on sales because people would want to play them offline with friends after playing them in-game...

I hope combat is fluid and realistic like Tera or Guild Wars 2... active time is the way to go instead of the old 2k4 ways... The game that "started it all" EQ inspired many old school combat systems that don't hold a candle to Action Roleplaying Games like Skyrim, yet with Tera and Guild Wars 2 times have changed to a more "hands on" approach to combat and less micromanagement of cool downs, you spend more time interacting with the game and less time looking at words POP off of your character! I only mention these 2 games because PFO is already looking into great gameplay mechanics from other games both MMO and otherwise, with so many monsters and PVP in a simultaneous functionality with a complex EVE inspired economy many players, bloggers, reviewers, inquisitors (literally and otherwise) have seen the competition yet have more information on this game as far as new ideas, have played pathfinder and are DROOLING! Games like DDO, EQ2, WoW and Champions Online should NOT inspire the level of interaction as much as Fable II, Skyrim, GTA: SA, Free Realms, DCUO (customizable equipment anywhere!), Saint's Row: The 3rd, Prototype, Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Metal Gear Solid 3 and the Silent Hill series, each of these games have at least 1 thing that separates them from their peers and careful study of what made these games great would reveal the future of the entire genre.

I just thought of something else:

I am playing a Monk, my friends are Paladins and Clerics, can we set up our own religious facilities? This includes paying tithe to our associated religions as well as getting support both financially and resource/manpower aid from our churches for our pilgrimages and missionary work? If I play a Paladin/Cleric/Monk can I get information on local Mining sites that need protection from the local church of my religion? Then can that religion decide to war against another? Paladin VS Paladin, over territory? Man this will be awesome! Oh every religion should have a "Paladin" some people are just that dedicated to their religion, and any religion that has dedicated members and teachings could have a sect of Monks...(that's how I play homebrew). Look at all real religions there are different sects that believe fundamentally different things yet still have the same origin belief.

How will magic make an impact on the trade goods? Alchemy and transmutation will be KEY abilities in a game like this I'd figure.

Too many MMOs have magic ONLY as COMBAT or CHARACTER related (food/healing/missiles). If you have an economy in a world with MAGIC, MAGIC will have an effect on the economy within the world, too many games/movies/TV shows forget the mutual pros and cons of existing in a magical world, take for instance Lord of the Rings (movies) very few magic users BECAUSE of the powers they invoke, that being said I think if you balance some spells like Castle Age favor & festival abilities on Facebook (once every 12 or 24 hours), you can ensure there is a balance to providing semi-realistic gameplay and a NEW spin on magic's usefulness in the game industry rather than heal or damage based spells... Magic should be AS tangible of a method to do many things as "work" because in fantasy novels they use magic for everything, look at Mickey Mouse in Fantasia, he never heals/harms or summons, he only enchants to make his life easier... he screws up (hey "random encounter" idea) your PC has to find out how to stop the spell with their "gift" whether swordsmanship, bomb crafting, magic or what-have-you. Another important thing: NOT everything in a world filled with magic is magical in and of itself, many developers forget this and flood their games with so much magic that it takes the "magic" out of finding it (you guys did address this earlier I am thanking you from the bottom of my heart).

PS Please allow NPCs to "live" in the world, much like Grand Theft Auto IV, they appear to be doing things not standing around with their thumbs... in their cluck n' bell burgers. Having some NPCs run up to you to give you a RANDOM Quest like in Red Dead Redemption would be nice as well, I shot many-a ne're-do-wells for trying to rape and pillage!

At least don't make us watch the same animations & effects over and over... I've noticed that A LOT of MMOs have NO variety in the actions players take, simply because there is a "correct?" way to play... (Bullcrap), The repeat effects and animations RUINED MANY MMOs for me, no matter what type of character you play you will get bored if you only rely on one skill and it always looks exactly the SAME... That being said please make it more convenient to utilize our character's abilities via a "gambit" style slot machine maybe that takes away the cooling down abilities and abilities you can't currently "afford" and abilities you don't like, leaving you with an age of conan style 1,2,3 attack style but instead of directional attacks it is a roulette style ability sequence, 1 could be attacks 2 could be restoration and 3 could be support (these of course would be assignable in any order you choose) this would vary gameplay dramatically by decreasing SPAM ability use...

Fire is the WORST type of friend you can have... it burns you when you hug it... lol, but yeah i kind of enjoy being hit in the back with arrows when I rush some mobs and my "friends" are rangers and assume that my Monk is target practice...

1 Real world influence in imaginary worlds
Final Fantasy VII: great game but I am playing again and found a "Texas" neon light under the "Beer" neon light in the Seventh Heaven bar... Seriously guys look it's there... it's the purple one in the lower right hand corner of the bar right next to the pinball elevator.

2 Creating characters based off of just class + Race (no choice, race=class!)
Daggerdale: The game limited character creation in such a way I was horrified that some actually claimed that "it's the way D&D was meant to be"... BULL!

3 Games that are so far off of what we consider fun from their predecessors they are LAME.
Grand Theft Auto IV: San Andreas was incredible... the mini games were awesome and fun... IV comes along and CRAPS all over "fun" with Darts, Bowling, Crappy online-loading-kick-single player-login-kick gameplay and it didn't feel like it fits the "times" like San Andreas did.

So Please take these into consideration. I realize that many of the themes may not directly fit into the game that PFO will be but I think they NEED to be said.

"WoW" will now be known as "Psch HAH!" lol. OMG lots of space to work with, Hex grids, forum interactions between devs that actually seem to care about the game they are producing... I love it!

Hi, I love Pathfinder... that being said here is what I hate:

Fallout: New Vegas it was incredible... until the Gun Runner's Arsenal, Every other DLC had new content and a REASON you got your STUFF! GRA just HANDED you items at start... I was let down by this decision, I'd rather have found a radio signal that lead me to a bunker with the stuff in it!

What does this have to do with PFO?

EVERYTHING! You see, I have played a lot of MMOs and I have NEVER been able to keep an interest in them because of the "hand me" attitude. DC Universe Online is an exception because of it's unique way of allowing constant character customization!

Here is what I need:

Constant Character customization (DC Universe Online)
A challenge (Dark Souls)
Quests to gain purchased MARKET items (NOT LIKE GRA From Fallout New Vegas)

Relevant Pathfinder Rulebook Quests: Meeting your Familiar? Do the ritual in the game... it would bring a huge level of depth to the game that crap MMOs just don't have!

Multi-Level Soundtracks (Rift MMO)

A way to interact with time meters to make them get over quicker... Nothing is as annoying as not being able to "play out" doing a task when it should help your character accomplish tasks faster because it would be less annoying than just waiting without doing anything until the bar fills up... why hasn't anyone done a hybrid God of War action button and MMO time meter for actions yet? Please be the first. Make it so you DON'T have to press the "action button" but it would speed up processes if you do!
