Open a ticket using the Customer Support link below -> How do I reach customer service article. From my experience, Paizo CS is responsive to tickets, although today may be a 3 alarm fire Monday!

I have not messed with mine for a while, but it also shows the June 16th Absalom Station sourcebook as the current book. Have hope! EDIT: On closer inspection, the image is NOT the Absalom Station sourcebook.

Can you re-confirm that this worked? I and others received a false positive pre-auth success message, but a spongebob "few minutes later" we get the same unable to process payment email and the failed status on the manage sub page. I do hope your experience was different and successful!

It tells you it can't do a thing, and you need to fix it immediately, gives you a bunch of links, you check the cards, they're mostly fine, etc. I hope people who clicked the links will be ok and that they were legit. I'm waiting for an official Paizo Rep to advise me on if it's legit before I believe anything. Caution is always advisable, but we can confirm they are legit emails considering they were sent on subscriber day, with verifiable details, consistent behavior across users and computers even when using last known good links. Thanks for the hopes, but we are OK. That said, submitting a case and waiting on Paizo to respond is advised based on our experiences. This is a back-end issue that I am afraid if we try to "fix" at the end-user side, we may make it worse! ...Like locking out your account or having the card provider or processor block the charge...
US based Starfinder 2e subscriber experiencing the same issues. Got email saying unable to place subscription order. (1) Tried to add new card from bed using phone, but new store returned error when saving new data. (2) Updated original card with full name and retried; store page reported success for pre-authorization. Went back to bed when I received another email stating Paizo Unable to place subscription order... Got up and went to computer to find that when I try to login to Paizo account...it reports that my email address doesn't exist. Followed login webpage instructions that if "this is your first time logging in, click fogot your password", updated password and now account is locked out... SIGH.

Not being able to read the PDF won't stop people from reading the physical book and talking about it online before the launch date. Respectfully stated, you can't easily upload, email or otherwise digitally share a physical book. The Paizo CCO has stated that the Diamond distributer debacle has been a kick in the teeth to this year's budget, so I am sure they are taking steps to shore up their financials by generating every possible sale; especially so for a "flagship" launch. They stated they wanted the physical books shipped in time for GenCon sessions, since they are not hauling, storing and hiring to hand out in person; which further reduces costs while still getting attendees, GMs and players the content timely. To me, the listing page does say the PDF would be available July 31st which is our published notice. Releasing in batch all at once likely streamlines/simplifies the process with efficiencies leading to reduced labor costs. I can't speak for the intentions of others, but I subscribe not expecting it early, but to have a physical book on my shelf (for reference) and a PDF (that I can safely mark-up/annotate) for my sessions, which won't occur before July 31st.
Maya Coleman wrote: That's definitely weird! Have you reached out to Customer Service about it so they can investigate? The best way to get problems like this one resolved is to send us an email at customer.service@paizo.com so we can help you! Please do! We want to help! Thank you for confirming that it is not expected normal behavior. I will email customer.service@paizo.com
Maya Coleman wrote: Subscribers get their PDF when their subscription item ships. Both books are releasing at the same time, so subscribers to both lines should be getting their PDFs at the same time. Please let us know though if you have any issues when we do get to release day! We'll do our best to help! THANKS! SUBBED! I have been told that subscribers occasionally get random goodies included in the box. Is that true?

Thanks for this! My players are about to assault the spire and the descriptions made no sense when I was prepping. Your post helped confirm/complete my remappings. This whole ending seems rushed to the printer. My favorite is the lake on the second floor... Oh and the 140' wide "spire" has a 480' top floor. You see that after you puzzle out the "To K" stairs is actually the "To I" map, printed 15 pages prior! WE NEED ERRATA!! |
