ok i hope im doing this right for my halfling fist 4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 4, 3) = 15 12
so adjusted for racial modifiers as a halfling here is his character sheet. i hope mythweavers is ok.
Name: Fist. I never had a surname but I will claim one when I do something worthy of a name. Race: Halfling
More History: I was born a slave. Being shipped around from Cheliax to Razmir, I was sold off as a novelty, a halfling arena fighter. I was meant to be a joke, something for the crowd to laugh at before I got slaughtered. Then to everyone’s surprise I killed my first opponent and the second and the third. It was then my new owner decided to hire professionals to train me in combat. Before he could schedule me into a new fight I used the training he paid for and killed him before making my escape. I now explore the world making up for the time I lost when I had no freedom.

here is my application Spookra, goblin exile from the licktoad tribe. traits: color thief(goblin), stowaway, armor expert.
Spookra was run out of his clan for being to smart. at least that's his opinion of the situation. working as a sneak for hire for humans pays well but not many humans like goblins as a rule and often try to kill them on sight so spookra has understandably grown to be a little jumpy. the last town he was in found out about him and tried to run him out of town. stowing away on a ship leaving the port was the best idea he had all day. now all he has to do is steal some breakfast before he starves on this boat. 15 point buy (with racial mods)
ok here is the character im offering up. Fist, the Halfling. Fist is an ex slave from chelax and he was used as a novelty pit fighter and brawler by his owners. 1 level barbarian and 1 level martial artist/underfoot adept he will eventually take levels in halfling opportunist. he specializes in tripping opponents. he is a pure phisical build. he will be taking the traits outlander: exile and Iron Liver. Fist is eager to explore the world and try new things he was denied as a slave. he has quite a temper but it only flares up when people think hes weak due to his race or if anything involving slavery happens. does this character fit well for you?
hello i have a quick question. would you be ok with a character being a neutral good goblin whos an exile from the licktoad tribe. (the goblin tribe right outside of sandpoint) i want to try and play a character who wants to prove that not every goblin out their is a homicidal fire throwing idiot. XD he would be a rouge that eventually becomes a shadowdancer.
Race: Goblin
brief backstory: down on his luck goblin thief. sold out and betrayed by the last 2 groups hes been with. its left him more than a little paranoid but once you become his friend hes a fun chaotic good guy to be around, great at parties.(he likes to sing and make up funny songs) Being exceptionally good at being sneaky also means he can get himself plenty of work when the operative needs to remain unseen. traits
Drawbacks
new traits from drawbacks

dont worry a dm has the right to be flip floppy when its needed X3 id enjoy having my goblin practice with stranger weapons and eventually learn to get the hang of them if he comes across any cool ones like a butterfly sword or shuriken or tonfas or Kusarigama or Wakizashi.
ok here is my character. spookra of the licktoad tribe. 20 point buy str 10
(i belive i did the point buy correct adjusting for the goblin racial stats as well. +4 Dexterity, –2 Strength, and –2 Charisma.) traits
level 1 rogue feat: weapon Finesse Spookra was one of the goblin heros (my goblin hero anyway) from the we be goblins module. We can go over just what happened and what put spookra in the position hes in now, however it needs to be for your campaign. "Spookra is very sneaky and spookra is also smart. spookra also know it is very smart to be sneaky about being smart."
quick question. as far as traits go if i were to play as my goblin character none of the traits listed in the players guide would really fit him. could i choose this goblin racial trait instead? Color Thief (Goblin)
Benefit: You gain a +2 trait bonus on Stealth checks, providing you wear only light armor or no armor.
Bresann Inmondeep (Sorcerer, Serpentine Bloodline) Hailing from the desert wastes of Osirion, Bresann Inmondeep was the pampered and well-off son of a noble house whose small merchant empire dealt in fine luxury goods, from spices to fine silks, that were exported all over the Inner Sea. Bresann was a somewhat isolated child in a society where the wealth and status of a household was of paramount importance. However, scandal dogged the Inmondeep household, as it was whispered that one of the family's ancestors had the blood of a serpent in their veins. The other wealthy houses looked upon the Inmondeeps with suspicion, and after a bungled shipment to Korvosa went downhill, the resulting scandal (combined with the lost wealth from Korvosan taxes and levies) left the merchant family in a rocky position. Old blood and even older vendettas were bared, and after a grudge duel left both Bresann's father and a wealthy nobleman dead, the vestiges of justice in the society of Orisian nobility hunted for a scapegoat. That scapegoat was found in the form of Bresann, whose status as the oldest male child of the household placed him in line for immediate succession to his father's substantial fortune. Bresann was summarily banished from the borders of Osirion, launching him upon a lifetime of wandering and searching for the truth. Hearing that the Pathfinder Society consisted of seekers of truth and explorers as well, he immediately sought them out, hoping to find both more about the ancient serpentine cultures that swam in his blood, as well as enough coin to help clear his name in his homeland.
one thing that you can do to make things a little interesting is have some unexpected side effects of actualy sucedding XD say your players in fact do manage to kill all the evil kobolds in the keep. then when their looking for loot they come across the kobolds egg nest. and guess who just hatched right in front of the players. this is a fun little thing that ive seen a dm do before. and keep in mind these things.
hehehe in the campaign i saw, the character who was the surogate mother protected and raised his "Daughter" and she quickly grew to be part of the family. she became a non combat npc who was kinda the teams mascot who cooked and tended to the camp while the PC's went and did dangerous stuff. at one point the dm had her kidnapped by something and WOW i had never seen the whole team rally around rescue and seek out vengance so hard XD they were attached to her XD |
