I know almost all players max out whatever character you create because you want to be the best possible. When playing other Living campaigns in the passed, this had led to me play more with people that played stats, than their characters.

I am really excited about my concept, I tweaked the stats, yes, but I took a not so advantageous mix of proposed classes. Wel, one that could be "Better" designed, as it were.

I am hoping to develope roleplaying and working on this begining of a story I created and want to see it grow.

My question is, do you, as players mainly, find it difficult to inject roleplaying in Society games, given obstacles like time constraints, not knowing new party members, etc.?

I am working in the area of springfield, Ma and have a temp home in Northampton, Ma. I am looking to play some Society games, from 1st level and can work arround mon-thursday at night, as I go home on the weekends. I am scheduled to stay till the end of the month (march)

If no society, then a regular game I can sit in for a few weeks till I am shipped off to Ct would be VERY appreciated.

I am working on my concept for my character. He is a freed slave in Qadira tht was freed by raiders. He was young enough to be taken in and 'trained' as a barbarian. Then he was found by a 'Missionary' of sorts and tutored on other ways of self-enlightment. I am starting as NN and first level being Barbarian. At second level, I would be converted to LN and begin his trek in Monk levels.

I am making sure that this path I want to take is within the reules of society play.

This is mainly for Attacks in the Flurry, If I have 4 levels of fighter, 4 levels of monk, are my flurry of attacks

+6/+6 or
+6/+6/+1/+1

Mainly, do I get to follow the monks flkurry progression with BAB

FEAT: Dazzling Display (Combat):

Your skill with your favored weapon can frighten enemies.

Prerequisite: Weapon Focus, proficiency with the selected weapon.

Benefit: While wielding the weapon in which you have Weapon Focus, you can perform a bewildering show of prowess as a full-round action. Make an Intimidate check to demoralize all foes within 30 feet who can see your display.

SKILL: Intimidate (Cha):

Demoralize

You can use this skill to cause your opponents to become shaken for a number of rounds. The DC of this check is equal to 10 + the target's Hit Dice + the target's Wisdom modifier. If you are successful, the target is shaken for one round. This duration increases by 1 round for every 5 by which you beat the DC. You can only threaten opponents in this way if they are within 30 feet and can clearly see and hear you.

I am trying to figure out why I would take the feat if I could just use the skill check. The feat does not give bonuses, nor does it give any duration, which leads me to belive I should use the Intimidate timing of 1 round +1 round/5 above DC.

Can someone help me in figuring this out? Maybe there is an errata I missed?

Thanks
