I hadn't see that before but that's a pretty cool idea and it would work for me. I was thinking it would actually be for Kasana in the Ironfang game if that's not a problem. I think it'd fit pretty well with the character idea I had for her and it's always nice to have someone proficient in thieves' tools.

How do you feel about allowing PCs to train for a new tool proficiency over the course of the AP? Was thinking a bit about potentially having my Ironfang PC pick up a set a thieves' tools at some point if she comes across a set.

I agree with what's been said so far.

For the WotR game, I think the combats have been difficult at times but fair and that only a couple of fights have gotten us really close to death. Also in the last fight, it was probably a little deadlier than the encounter on paper would suggest because Lightning Bolt & Fireball are overpowered on purpose as legacy spells; so they're dangerous at all levels but especially against low level PCs. I think that's all fine though as we're still low-level and just beginning to get our character concepts/ powers up plus we're still using starting equipment without magic items for the most part (though I know magic items aren't essential in 5e like they are in PF). I think overall though the combats have been fun and when we've struggled it's been more dice luck than tactics or overly powerful opponents (though we got lucky when Damon beat a boss essentially by himself ;p)

For the Ironfang game, I think we've been pretty unlucky with rolls at times and have been hit for big damage early that mess up our typical strategy. Also, partially my fault as I replaced a melee character with an archer, but with only two dedicated front liners (and one a bit squishy at the moment with starting armor), it puts a lot of strain on them fight to fight with limited rest or healing (though it'd be worse if we were fighting a horde vs. a couple at a time). I do like though that this game feels the strain for resources as the party is on a time crunch for decisions with the legion bearing down on us. I think in the long run we'll be fine once we get to level 3-4 and have more options in and out of combat and get the chance if possible to upgrade our items through loot etc.

3."Three-Arm" Nisha Longshot (Zoldier) Male Tiefling 1st Gunslinger *Giantslayer Scion*

My submitted character is actually a Female tiefling :)

Nisha's Knife Inscription: Boldness isn't something you're born with; you either choose it or you don't.

Sorry had missed this as well

1. Character Concept: "Three-Arm" Nisha Longshot (Last name may change), Tiefling Gunslinger. (Primary Combatant with a focus on pistols so she'll fighting up close)

1a. What makes your character stand out: Besides being the only tiefling around, Nisha is unusually coordinated with her tail both in and out of combat earning her the moniker "Three-Arm" (If allowed I would be keen on taking the Prehensile Tail Variant Trait). The adventure would also allow her to potentially improve her familiy's name after it had become a bit of a joke within Trunau

2. What campaign trait would you take from The players Guide Players Guide for Giant Slayer Giantslayer Scion for RP purposes over Trunau Native (though I can switch if preferred)
--General Idea: Adoptive Grandfather supposedly defeated a Giant in his youth (though nobody besides his family believes him)

3. Why are you in Trunau Raised in Trunau by adopted parent after being abandoned in the wilderness as an infant.

4. What job do you have in Trunau? How do you make a living: Patrolwoman/ village Militia (adopted parent's profession)

5. Have you played it before? and if you have can you separate your knowledge from person to character?: Nope never played this AP before (still new to pathfinder)

6. What makes you tick as a player? Why do you role play?: Nothing major for me. As along as everyone's engaged and having fun then so am I! For me, I love to RP because I love getting to watch characters you spent time creating and adventuring with grow and evolve as the story unfolds to unexpected places that can only be done within a format like this.

7. Complete this introduction of your player that will be used in your first post.
It's been a long day. The season has turned from the heat of summer to the kinder climate of fall. You know tomorrow will be a big day. Its The Hope Knife festival for Ruby, Chief Defender Halgra's Youngest Daughter. She is now of age, 11, when she will be bestowed her own personal Hope Knife, created for her by Sara Morninghawk. Tomorrow she will take the oath to defend Trunau until her death. Life is hard in Trunau, a settlement beyond Lastwall in The Hold of Belkzen...Orc Territory.
You think back to when you got your Hope Knfe, and who it was who spoke for you, Rodrik Grath, your father's superior in the village militia and one of the few people who didn't look down on Nisha immediately because of her unfortunate heritage.
You remember Them saying...
“Nisha Longshot, by the traditions of our town, you have come of age. This hopeknife represents your responsibilities as an adult and defender of Trunau. You must be willing to use it on yourself, your fellow Trunauans, and your family—even me, should it come to that. It will be a far quicker death than that which the orcs will offer, and providing it is your duty. Do you swear to guard Trunau from all comers, and to use your hopeknife only for its intended purpose?”
“If the orcs come, and there is no other option, this is where you cut—here, here, and here.”Rodrik demonstrates which arteries to sever while you watch. Then the hopeknife was sheathed and placed around your neck
Until tomorrow....but for tonight...

Hi there, thanks for running this and I'd be interested in submitting a character for this as well; I will have my application filled out by the end of the weekend. Thinking most likely a Tiefling Gunslinger (Primary Combat) or a Human? Staff Magus (Misc.).

I'd be interested in potentially joining as well if someone was able to run it as I'd been looking to try out a couple of character ideas. I'd be open to potentially running one of the APs as a 5e conversion at some point in the future depending on how my schedule shakes out (still new to the Pathfinder rules so not nearly comfortable enough to run that quite yet).

Hey Fabian, sent you a PM for a possible replacement character (Kasana Windfoot) for this one. Thanks!

Sorry for the delay getting my submission in. Life got in the way a little bit the past couple of days and I also gave myself a crash course on Pathfinder Lore but I'll have my submission up later this afternoon. I will be trying a human druid character.

Thx!

Thanks for your interest.

As for races, all core are allowed with the exception of dragonborn and drow.

I think a druid with the circle of stars would be fine for this AP.

Since you're new to the AP (and site?), you will want to download the Wrath of the Righteous Player's Guide..

This will give you an idea of what the AP is about and may even offer other possibilities for a PC.

More questions?

Game on!

Gotcha, was going to use a more exotic race but I'll switch it up to better fit the setting. I'll try and submit a character by today or tomorrow

Hi,

I saw you post on the DnD forum and it sounded interesting and I'll try and send you something in the next couple of days (never played PF so I'll be coming in blind to the story)

Quick question, I was considering making a druid character, specifically the (UA) circle of stars subclass (mostly for flavor over technical aspects though I find those pretty interesting too). Would that be allowed for this AP? If not I've got a couple of other ideas I could work on.

Also any PC races not allowed?

Thx!
