I don't care how evil she is. I'd hit that.

Like a moth to the Zapper.

The Elven city of Celwynvian was sacked years ago by a brilliant military leader by the name of Saaj-Kaex, who led his kobold bretheren to battle after the Elven rulers had not made proper reperations after some of their guard had mistakenly slaughtered a band of Kobold Merchants thinking them a raiding party. Kobold emissaries attempted to secure a diplomatic solution but the Elven Rulers would not admit to such a horrific mistake. Saaj-Kaex, under pressure from his senior military advisors had no choice but accept the numerous requests from his warchief to at least begin drawing up plans for an assault on the Elven Capital that the long-ears would not soon forget. After the plans were drawn, Noble and merciful Saaj-Kaex saught to warn the Elven rulers that should no reperation be made, the consiquences would be dire and that they would suffer the full military might of the Kobold tribe and that the Elven civilians should be evacuated lest they fall to the wrath of the kobolds. The Elven saw this as laughable as their superiority in both magic and steel was fact.

Soon afterwards the heavy-hearted Saaj-Kaex put his warchiefs military operation into motion. That night hundreds of Kobold Assassins crept their way into the Elven Capital, one by one the long-ears highest decorated warriors, guards, and noblemen and women were put to the blade. The Kobold assassins were merciless in their surgical strike, in one night the Elven defensive forces where decimated, their warriors were in utter chaos. The Elven nobles were in a panick in fear that they would be next to taste the Kobolds wrath. At dawn Saaj-Kaex sent an emissary to the few Elven rulers that had either escaped death or were left alive to answer to the kobolds demands. The kobolds would allow the Elves to retreat and evacuate as an exchange for the lives of the kobold merchants who had lost their lives and for the humilitation of their people when the Elves in their pride would not pay proper respect and reperations for their mistake.

To this day the elveen city remains unpopulated due to an agreement with the Kobolds, though the Elves in their pride will never admit to it.

Not the actual history.
