DLH here,
The Kindaur are often but not always green. They are medium size full grown. They don't have any traits for mage hand but they are all magical and could take sorcerer (I plan on a Kindaur bloodline eventually, but haven't done it yet) many get schooling in the magical arts (aka take a lvl or two in a casting class) and use magic to compensate, otherwise things get difficult, such as getting things in and out of , putting on armor (which even humans usually get help with) those who don't get schooling in magic often buy at least an item of mage hand or unseen servent. Just remember that barding has different costs, though Kindaur barding is almost as easy to find as regular armor.

"This isn't working, time to switch tactics, you guys let's focus on the closest flames and put them out first. And you can catch any sparks before they catch fire." Zira indicates one of them to watch for sparks and everyone else to start fighting fire, then Zira casts Shield on the wagon hoping it will help protect it from some of the sparks.

Interesting note, because I love sharing knowledge and a daisho is my RL favored weapon set, Samurai don't need to use whetstones. European weapons do because the europeans made softer blades so they wouldn't shatter when blocking with the result the the edge wouldn't hold well. The japanese on the other hand developed swords that had a hard edge that would stay sharp and a soft back that could withstand blocking, that and the process to produce such is why they have one edge instead of two. Besides the sword polishers use a variety of very expensive whetstones for over a year to make the blades as sharp as they are (Sharp enough to to slice human hair long ways, and can cut bullets without taking damage, even a 50 cal needs multiple hits to damage a katana), and used properly will stay that sharp.

Not that you'd find a comfortable seat with her pack on. "Touch me and die, kid!" Zira growls, hops up and keeps Sakura between her and the halfling. "My name is Zira by the way." She says slightly irritatably, though obvious that the irritation is the running around halfling. Shouldn't I be happy that someone isn't wary of me? or am I just too annoyed that someone thinks of me as a toy?

A curious sight she had been, the entire way. A tiger of all things, and it has been following them, a few knew her already, as up until recently she was a scout for the gaurds at the last city, but for most she was an odd and unsettling presence. Luckily, some think, she spends most of her time out of sight. But she does speak to the few that know her enough, for most to realize by now that she really can, and does speak. Not only that but one that wears a hat, a necklace, and weird bags on either side. Zira trotted up to the strange woman, "Yep, smelly camels, I didn't like the smell before and I really don't like the smell now." Zira come to rest near her. Being an outsider herself for the past year, Zira really didn't mind the kimono clad warrior's status. "So what brings you out here re-establishing viliages?" Zira flpped her hat in front of her using magic to dust off the sand and carefully inspecting it, before magicing it back on her head, with care and a few adjustments. |
