Zinar rushes up the steps and with a quick speak of arcane words, Zinar cast Enlarge on Gudleifr.

Zinar calls back "Will do." and peers down the steps into the basement with his low-light vision. A spell ready, just holding on to the last arcane word before releasing it's power.

Zinar will move in to secure the site, but will try to have the koblds hunt down the last orcs.

"Would an out right attack that the orc's see an ambush just make them mad and the orcs kill all the prisoners?
So how about instead of the distraction, we offer the orcs a trade. Prisoners for gold. And when they do the trade and we have the prisoners then we ambush them. That way we have a better chance in saving the prisoners. What do you think?"

Depending how many hours Zinar has to scribe scrolls while still getting a full night rest.
1st 2 hrs. he scribes Enlarge
2nd 2 hrs. he scribes hold portal
3rd 2 hrs. he scribes Enlarge
4th 2 hrs. he scribes Grease
and 5th 2hr. he scribes Mage Armor
All at level 1.
example: if he only has 6 hours before the night's rest then he scribes the first three. Please let me know how many hours Zinar has to scribe scrolls.

Zinar will try to pick up some pitch and tar from the ship to make flaming arrows.

"I will let them know that you wish to use magic to try and heal the wounded"

Draconic:
"Please do not be alarmed one of our healer's wish to use magic to try and heal the sailor. Your wounded may even get some healing by the same magic if the stand near the sailor, but do not crowed him. We can most likely use more magic later to tend to more wounded if need be."

"I am trying to have them take us to a sailor that they have in their custody. I am being told that he is injured and could use some help. Then we can negotiate for their help to deal with the Orcs and rescue our employer. The coins I have given then is for good faith and I will hand over a gold coin when we arrive at their camp and only if the sailor is still alive."
Zinar fill the group of what is being barked-talked about with the Kobolds.

He turn to Zardu and Gudleifr "Just because they have not spoken in common does not mean that they don't understand it. To gain the most on this bargain, we must watch what we say, agreed?"
And turns back to the Kobolds.

Oh goodie, everything hinges on my +1 to Diplomacy.....lets get this party started.

Zinar starts to make the barking noise again.

Draconic:

"We must see the other missing sailor that you have so there is a chance that we can heal them and that they do't die. Then I am sure that we come to some agreement for your help to get us to the orcs. And as good faith I offer 3 silver coins for you to take us to the wounded sailor. And one gold coin when we arrive at the sailor if he is still alive."

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17
And he pulls the rabbit out of the hat.

Zinar pulls out all the coin and hands over the three silver but only shows them the gold coin.

Stepping forward holding his hands out to his sides.

Draconic :
"Hello mighty Saltscales, yes we seek the Halfling that washed up on your shore. If you could help us then we could help you with Your Orc problem."

Turning his head to the party
"They are asking if we are looking for a halfling. And that they are having Orc issues. I believe that the Orcs took our halfling employer."

Moving over to the railing Zinar ties his silk rope to the boat and peers out into the gloom in hope to see the ones that went overboard.

Not finding a spell caster or leader to target, Zinar seeing that there is enough light on the shore lets go of the dancing lights and with a shot phrase "wux geou qe dazed". Zinar cast Daze on one of the archers.

Zindar still looking for a spell caster, peers into the darkness.

If spell caster found he will target that one.
If not he will just sling a hobgoblin

Zinar keeping the lights on the targets. Zinar launches a sling stone at a target that looks like a spell caster.

Zinar slowly increases the sweeps of the lights, so they get closer to the banks of the river for those that need them, a better look. Zinar keeps an eye on the water in case of a trap that will catch the boat.

Zinar whispers to a sailor next to him "Tell the captain, possible trouble, east side. And keep it quite, no need to let the gobo's know that we know they are there. Now go boy and just walk normal."

Standing on the bow sweeping the three globs of light back and forth. Zinar nods as he gets the information of the possible ambush.

”You might want to speak with the captain about this. And tell him to keep it quiet, it’s only a scout and with a known spell caster on board I am a big juicy target.”

Once his dancing lights spell burns out Zinar changes what he has been casting and with a simple finger movements and his left hand dropping to his side Zinar casts a spell upon himself. Then quickly cast the balls of lights again and returns them sweeping from left to right.

On the top deck at the bow. Zinar cast dancing lights out front of the ship at just above water line and moves them left to right and back again.

"Well if we are running at night I think I better be on deck to try and help spot trouble."

Once the captain has calmed down some.
"It looks like we are going to sail at night. I have some light spells that I can cast to help see the way if you would like?"
