Male Human Ninja/1

Hong enters the inn, his pack of weapons and armor slung once more over his shoulder. He grins as he takes in the inn's common room and it's patronage. Then he heads over towards a table, slinging his gear under one of the chairs.

"Nothing like a filthy gobbo attack as an introduction to a town, eh?" he comments with a grin to anyone that is looking. Then he fishes out one of his remaining goldpieces and sets it on the bar as he walks over, sliding it over to the halfling woman, giving her a wink.

"Drinks for everyone, Cuz." he tells her, grinning. Then he looks about the room.

"Goblins are crawling over this area of the coast, but I don't remember them ever getting right into the center of town before."

Hong spends a few hours helping Zenovia around town, helping with the wounded, carrying supplies or doing whatever sort of help he can. Then he retires to the Rusty Dragon.

Male Human Ninja/1

I'm still here as well.

Male Human Ninja/1

When it's his turn Hong tries to slip around behind the Goblin rider and swings his katana at it, attempting to flank him with another fighter.

Attack Roll +2 if flanking: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Male Human Ninja/1

Hong rushes off, following Kror.

Male Human Ninja/1

Hong looks around and adjusts his grip on his katana, waiting until the little monsters get closer.

Basically holding until one is engaged with one of the front line fighters. Then will move to flank and sneak attack. Preferably the one that's mounted.

Male Human Ninja/1

Hong rushes towards one of the goblins. He attempts to stay close to at least one of the other defenders as he really doesn't want to be surrounded at any time. He swings his katana towards the closest.

Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17

Possible Damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Male Human Ninja/1

Okay, I'll get it fixed tonight. Too used to playing fighter types.

Male Human Ninja/1

Hong moves towards one of the goblins, trying to move towards other defenders, hoping that he will be able to flank one of the monsters.

Attack + Bless : 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 4 + 1 = 11

Male Human Ninja/1

Hong jumps, his eyes flashing open at the first loud noise, the young man having been on the verge of nodding off.

At the screams he crouches down and looks around. He reasons that he's not skilled enough for a bow with all these people around and so he reaches down and slides his katana out of it's scabbard, keeping it down and under the bench for now, not wanting to create additional panic by waving his weapons about.

He glances around though, trying to take stock of the situation.

perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23

Male Human Ninja/1

Hong pays for his dinner, selecting a chowder from the Hagfish. Eventually he wearies somewhat of the celebration. He moves to sit on a bench near the new cathedral, watching people, his belongings at his feet. He runs his finger along a muscular forearm sighing at the dust from the road that he lifts. It has been a long day, and a hot bath would be welcome. He glances off after the soon to be setting sun and makes the decision to retire to an inn as soon as the festival has concluded rather than reveling into the night.

Male Human Ninja/1

Hong grins at Feng and works his way up into the front of the small line. Then he hops up onto the balance beam and attempts to cross it while the small crowd watches.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21

Male Human Ninja/1

Hong turned in mild suprise at being addressed in Tian. He grinned beneath his wide straw hat at the monk. "Ho! Me?" he asks, giving the other man the once over, "Sandpoint!" he tells
Liu Feng in heavily accented Tian before he continues in Varisian

"My family is from Magnimar. A few generations ago from Minkai though. But I take it you're more recently from farther away?"

The broad shouldered young man is quickly distracted by one of the contests, this one having balancing beams above some water filled pits.

Hong nudges Liu Feng, "Care for a little contest of skill?"

Male Human Ninja/1

Hong threads through the throngs of people as he winds his way up towards the new cathedral. He grins at the antics of running children, occasionally nodding to someone that he knows, occasionally getting scowled at by people that know of him.

Finally, he locates the makeshift sign above the Rusty Dragon's booth and heads over. Hoi, Cuz! You seen Ameiko? he asks one of the serving girls as he looks around for the owner. Not seeing her, he doesn't seem to perturbed.

He sets his rucksack down and digs through it, eventually pulling out of it a package wrapped in brown paper that is about the size of a brick. Give this to her when you see her, yeah? he says, handing the girl the package. He grins when she looks at him questioningly, It's spices. I picked them up in Magnimar. She should be able to make something out of them! he tells her before closing up his back and shrugging it back onto his shoulder. Tell her Hong is back! he says, waving to the booth as he heads towards some of the game tables and contests of skill.

Zhang Hong jumped from the side of the caravan's wagon as soon as it had come to a near stop.

From the town of Sandpoint originally, the youth had met with some trouble a few years earlier when he had been discovered attempting to break into the Scarnetti manor.

The fact that he was distantly related to the Kaijitsu's had kept him from ending up in a cell, but it had been decided that he would join a traveling caravan not too long after that.

He hadn't had too much to say to the traveler's on the caravan, but when they did speak to him, he was full of talk about running his own caravan and how much gold he was going to fill his pockets with. It was hard to pin down exactly what his title was, but he seemed to be a little bit guard, a little bit cook, and a lot bit "go-fer" for the caravan master.

His broad Tian Xia-ish (?) features had broken into a grin the second he saw the town. Now, he tugged his rucksack from the wagon and slung it over his shoulder. Tied to it was his katana, a shortbow and quiver and his leather armor. He's dressed in a green vest that leaves powerful arms bare, a pair of trousers and rough sandles.

He waved, "Goodbye, Master!" he waved to the caravan master as he trotted up the hill. He clapped Kror on the shoulder and pointed down a street. "The Rusty Dragon is that way. Keep going till the smell of spice gives way to the smell of horse sh&t!" he called with a laugh before trotting up the hill towards the new cathedral and the booths there, looking for the one that is run by the Rusty Dragon, hoping to spot his 'cousin' Ameiko.

I plan on playing a business minded ninja that fights with a katana and eventually creates magical items. I'd like to eventually run a caravan around Varisia.
