Please cancel my Pathfinder Adventure Path subscription. Thank you.

Dear Paizo,
My order has still not arrived, even though my payment was charged on Feb. 8. The order said it would probably take between 4 to 8 days to arrive. Is it too soon to worry? I was wondering if the snow up in your part of the country put a delay on shipments, or if I should start worrying about mailbox-thieves.

The Exchange

Dear Customer Service,
I think the item I added to my sidecar has been reduced in price. It was previously 12.99 and now the website says 7.99. Is this correct? I saw on the message-boards that there may be a glitch in pricing and was wondering if it was an error because the new price wasn't reflected when I placed my order.
Thanks,
Zeugma

This order is supposed to be part of my Adventure Path subscription, but it is not showing up on the My Subscriptions page. Is Pending Orders not counted as part of the Subscription?

The Exchange

Dear Customer Service,
I received an e-mail that there was no payment method for this order, however, I was applying my store credit to the order as per what it says on my account: "You have a store credit balance of $29.85 that you may apply toward future purchases." I wanted to apply the complete store credit, but it looks like it only applied $4.34 to my purchase, and has requested a payment method for the rest. IF you apply the whole credit, I don't think I'll have any remaining balance for the order that would necessitate an additional payment method (i.e. credit or debit). Please let me know if this is so.
Sincerely,
Zeugma

So what did everyone get this year? I picked up a bunch of kid-friendly freebies I can pass on to my sister for her classroom (I highly recommend the "Mouse Guard" comic that came in a compilation with "Lumberjanes". It has Gorgeous Art!) and I bought some Rat Queen issues.

Here's a link to the Free Comic Book Day website Link

Hi. I'm looking for a regular Pathfinder group in west LA. I tried looking on Warhorn.net, but Warhorn's website has changed since I last visited it and most of the stuff listed on there seems to be PFS specific or tournament/convention based. I'm cool with PFS, but was wondering if there are any Adventure Paths going on that I could join.

So, I'd never played a barbarian before, and I am a very casual gamer. The sort of gamer who is generally okay letting the other people at the table and the GM check my character sheet. Some people have to have the GM check their sheet because they try to cheat-with-math. Me? I wouldn't know HOW to cheat. I'm one step above the player who lets the GM make and level up their character for them. It's because I have a hard time with the rules. Individually I understand them, but once modifiers start getting stacked I tend to get confused. e.g. Did I already add that bonus? Do I add the bonus or modify the ability for that other bonus first? Oh wait, is this a 2-handed weapon? Am I using my off-hand to attack?...etc.

So I am happy to announce that I have finally, after 6 levels, figured out all my damage modifiers for my barbarian. I had to reread the rules about four or five times but I think I've finally got it.

This is a place to share your similar triumphs in learning the ropes of Pathfinder. Where's your learning curve? What parts of the game/a new class have you struggled to master? I know I can't be the only one!

I really enjoyed this story, though I wish there had been a bit more background on Kryllic and his motives at some point, aside from his physical description. As it is I liked the twist ending and hope I can check out "Stalking the Beast" sometime soon.

Hi.
UPS stopped tracking my order on November 11. It is now the 18th and I have no way of tracking the package via USPS, to whom they handed it off. Should I wait some more before trying to contact my local post office? I ordered my book on Nov. 5 and had hoped it would be here before Hanukah (which is also Thanksgiving this year). I don't want to cause a fuss but it is less than 10 days away now, and there's been no sign of my book nor a note from the USPS telling me they couldn't deliver/pick up.

Two reviewers on Tor.com are writing critiques/reviews of the Appendix N books from Gygax's Dungeon Masters Guide. They've done three so far.

I used the Tracking link for my order, and I saw UPS tracked the shipment from UPS up to the transfer to the Los Angeles PO on April 18, but so far no package has arrived. The projected delivery date is today (the 23rd). I'd like to contact my PO about the package, but I do not know what to say. Do I use the Package ID UPS uses when contacting USPS? Should I give them another day for delivery before contacting them?

I just got Heart of the Jungle and I LOVE it! I've also been reading a book of African mythology and came across a story that inspired me to read about Mozambique.
Reading about Mozambique led me to the shetani. They are "evil spirits" with the same root word as shaitan and satan (or Satan for you KJV folks).
So why no shetani in Golarion? They are on a par with the div, in my opinion. I think these creatures (as depicted in the photos and paintings in my limited reading) would make an AWESOME class of demons, especially for Bekyar summoners!

Also, I think the sabosan bat-people in Golarion could be related to the popobawa shetani, although sabosan aren't alleged to be themselves demons, only Vyriavaxus's children. I don't know the exact inspiration for sabosan from the real world. Does Tim Hitchcock talk about it anywhere?

Anyway, thanks Paizo for opening up the (real)world to me by inspiring me to read more about a part of it I knew nothing about! Has anyone else been inspired by Heart of the Jungle this way?

I was miffed that the information on the city of Katapesh in Dark Markets: A Guide to Katapesh did not synchronize with the article “The Katapesh Marketplace” by Richard Pett in Legacy of Fire: The Jackal’s Price. So what I did is attempt to fit in Pett’s locations in his article into the city as presented in Dark Markets. There are 13 markets in the Pett article. What follows is my suggested locations for them and my reasoning for why they fit in there.

I wasn't sure if this should go under the Comics thread instead, but I thought it was really cool that Unshelved would put up a great Fafhard and the Grey Mouser collection as their Book Club recommendation.

Yeah, I know it's an old Book Club read, but I just found it and think its cool.

I would like to ask what the people of Golarion resolve to do in the new year, following a similar thread established for Earthlings on the Paizo messageboard and blog.

I, Fatima of the Desert, resolve to explore the deserts of Katapesh and bring tales of their people home to Katheer.

What do my fellow Golarion Pathfinders (and others) resolve to do?

Wow. I wonder if the assassin is a doppelganger? He probably has some supernatural ability, since magic is unreliable in the Wastes. I doubt it was someone who used magic to change their features to look like Kordroun. Either that or Kordroun really does have an "evil twin." I wonder if that second assassin at the gunworks is the same one who fled through the door, or another. He died in the gears, right? I'm guessing he at least got crushed pretty badly. But then that next shot rang out, meaning there are (were) at least 2 assassins after them, maybe three if the screaming guy didn't die.

Having fun reading this so far. I hope we get to read about more of this fabulous city!

I am wondering if my Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook will, like Schrodinger's cat, come in a box, or in one of those padded envelopes?
I ask because my current mailcarrier has the unfortunate habit of trying to put things into the tiny mailbox opening that Will Not Fit, and I doubt he'd try to squeeze a big box in there.

I like it!

I love it! Where can I get one?

After the end of the Council of Thieves Adventure Path, issue 30 (which should be shipping). Hopefully I can resume the subscription at some time in the future, but currently I can't afford it. :(

Hi. I was wondering about this order. It's my regular Pathfinder AP subscription, "The Final Wish" #24. My Account said it shipped on July 30, and today is August 8th and it still hasn't arrived. I have Regular shipping, which should mean the package gets to me in fewer than 10 days, right? Usually, with the other packages, it took less than a week. It is not that far from Seattle to Los Angeles. Now my copy of "Bastards of Erebus" is shipping today, and it would be weird to get issue #25 before #24. Should I complain to the U.S. Postal Service?

Edit: Ooops. I just saw where it says "4 to 8 business days" so that means weekends don't count. So that means I'm just being impatient and if it doesn't arrive by Monday, then I can complain. :P

Paizo's going stag? Does that mean Seoni won't be in the AP?

Okay, so I'm wondering what a funeral presided over by a cleric of Zon-Kuthon would be like. What would make it different from a Pharasmanian funeral?

Mourners: check
Corpse: check
Flowers: um....maybe not?

Zon-kuthon is the main god in Nidal, so I'm assuming they'd turn to his clerics for funerals (as the god of loss) first, right? Or would there be some sort of Pharasma-Kuthon fusion?

Help me avoid kuthonfusion!

Oh, and if this death-rites specific stuff will be in the upcoming Gods and Magic book, please let me know.

This sounds so awesome! I worry that it may be too much planes-hopping, and players might get disoriented ("If it's Tuesday, this must be Kastrovel") but Wolfgang Bauer writing the city of Brass? Awesome!
