Female Human (Varisian) Harrow Sorceress / 1
Thoroughly disgusted and angry that goblins, gross little creatures, would dare to disturb a sacred festival to Desna, Zelladania moves towards the south side of the town square. Tossing acid at number 3.

Zella glares at the goblin she just struck and attempts to twist its fortune... Will save dc 14, I think. Not sure what else to add to this since it isn't a spell. Twisted Fortune (Sp): At 1st level, you can use your supernatural insight to hijack the fortunes of a single target within 30 feet. For 1 round, the target becomes confused and cannot directly control its actions (Will negates). Once a creature has been affected by twisted fortune, it is immune to the ability’s effects for 24 hours. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Cha modifier.

After agreeing to meet Aldren for dinner later on, Zella grabs a drink and then heads back to the floor with a new dance partner, followed after that by rotating trips to the food tables with new partners. When Father Zantus takes the stage to begin speaking again, Zella takes the opportunity to catch her breath while waiting to see what he had to say now. Hoping for another telling of a tale of Desna, Zella is taken by surprise and responds in alarm to the sound of the goblin song. Who would dare sing a song like that at a feast for Desna?! Surely there would be no actual goblins brave enough to enter a town like this? Zella looks about in disbelief, searching for the source of the singing. Once she sees a goblin, Zella will throw a blob of acid at it, moving up to 30 feet away from it if she needs too. ranged touch attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

Zella smiles at the at the man asking her to dance, her own foot beginning to tap along to the beat of the song. With a little curtsy of her own, she replies: "It would be my pleasure to enjoy this dance with you." Hmm, polite and nice looking. As long as he doesn't step on my feet, he could be a good dance partner for the festival...

Zella gives Father Zantus her full attention as he begins to speak. As a devout follower of Desna, she's heard the tale of Desna and the blind girl many times before, but it was one she never tired of hearing. Though this was the first time that she'd seen such a release of butterflies at the end. She smiles, watching all the children and the occasional adult chasing after the fluttering symbols of Desna. As the band strikes up a lively tune, Zella looks about for companion to dance with....

Not being familiar with the local theater, Zella asks a question out loud for any that care to answer: "Harpy Queen? I wonder what play is being preformed later, it doesn't sound like one I've gotten to watch before." Not like there are too many theaters out on the open road after all....

Zella replies to the woman speaking to her. "Yes, it is rather crowded. Though no wonder it is with all of this good food up for grabs. I fear after all this I may go into a coma for the remainder of the festival." Zella eventually settles onto a clear patch of grass and quite happily downs her steak and wine, after which she will go back for portions of the other two meals. Though not really her preferred choices, she doesn't wish to offend by not trying everything available. "All of this food was absolutely wonderful, but I will have to say that I personally preferred the steak the most. After spending to so much of my life crossing across inland Varrissia, I fear I just don't have much a taste for seafood and am more accustomed to landfood. And if that isn't an actual word, I certainly think that it should be."

Eyeing all the table holding the food, Zella heads to the one with all the steak first. A much heartier meal in her mind (and stomach) than the light fair fished out of the sea. "This all looks so tasty, it's hard to decide where to even begin." She smiles as she takes a plate of food and looks about for a place to sit and eat it. I wonder if I'll have enough room to try all the dishes?

sense motive: 1d20 ⇒ 9 Zella accepts the halfing's blessing while the young man picks out his little dragon. Her cheers grow even louder when his lizard is distracted by the butterfly and offers up a little blessing of her own to Desna after the race and goes to pick up her winnings, offering a wave and smile to the man, oblivious to his mood. "May the Lady bless you with her luck next time." Her next stop will be the food and drink stalls, searching for a light mead and a heavy meal.

Having just arrived late to the festival, Zella is still tired and dusty from her long walk, but determined to have enjoy herself instead of finding a inn to rest in. She claps along with the crowd as Kendra finishes up her speech and then wanders around a bit trying to find something that catches her interest. Hmm, well, weight lifting is definitely out, scavenger hunt sounds like too much walking around and my feet are still too tired for that. Maybe I'll go find a seat by the "dragon" races and pick one to win... d20+cha to goad a lizard?: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20 Zella picks out a cute and fast looking lizard with a blue tail and lays out a gold piece for him to win. Then she'll take a seat with the rest of the spectators and cheer for the lizard to win, shouting words of encouragement and promising tasty bugs.

They might contain some actual bits of historical lore and bits of arcane secrets. They all look like they are seriously, really old. I would love to get these translated or to learn to read them myself."

"Could we have missed another secret door somewhere?" Zella looks around the room and at the statues. "Hey, what is that metal thing in that one snake statues mouth?" Zella follows the line of sight from the metal object to the wall and runs her fingers around the wall. "I wonder if there are any secret passages in this room?"

Zella comes up and looks over the items. "Nice looking sword. I don't think that we've seen anything that requires a lock in this place yet though. We haven't been down here looking for long though, we may yet find a lock that will fit it." Curious about the water, Zella will go back over to it, cast light on her morningstar again and slowly lower it into the water up until the point where her hand would go under. She tries to judge at what point the light no longer penetrates the water.

I saw the previous page, but thought that the roll was for that fight. I thought that the GM was calling for a new perception check to notice the camp and the goblin. Though I may be mistaken about that. I usually space my own perception checks a bit differently in games.
