SLA Replacement #1: 1d100 ⇒ 97 => Meh
SLA Replacement #2: 1d100 ⇒ 20 => +2 to CMB
SLA Replacement #3: 1d100 ⇒ 20 => I guess I get to roll again
SLA Replacement #3, B: 1d100 ⇒ 14 => +5 speed
If I was a fighter, I'd have full BaB and would cap Dex, I'd pick the bonus to CMB. Being a monk, I won't be doing Ranged Trips, so I guess the plus to speed will do (The fastest monk on this side of the Mississippi, madaf*kas!!!).
Jereru Reporting. Still some tweaks to do with the gear, and maybe some more background as needed.
One question: Will you allow a roll at the variant features table? You know, instead of the SLA. If you won't, np, I'll just keep the SLA.
Thank you in advance!
-I'll be sure to come back when my purse allows it.
Yue seems to think about the matter for a second, then he answers. -It seems a good deal.
He leaves the bow in the table for Bartleby to take it, and presents his hand for Bartleby to shake it. This done, he produces a small pouch and proceeds to count a good amount of coin.
-Is it alright if I pay you split, also? Seven hundred and fifty, here they are.
Yue struggles to not remove his hand from the halfling's.
-Basically enchanted, I'd say. The most basically.
Yue offers his hand.
-Well, how much would you charge me to turn this marvel here- he says showing his bow -into a magic weapon?- He caresses the bow with love. -You know, it's a family memento...
Yue is not really interested in the dagger, so he approaches Bartleby.
-Sir? Sorry to disturb you, my name is Yue Fei. I've heard you could enchant weapons for a good price...
Updated and ready to kick some arse.
-Hello again, folks.
Yue sits near the fire and orders a drink.
-Any of you have seen Bartholomew recently? I'm interested in a headband we talked about not long ago...
Omg, still alive, yes... Will update the char tomorrow.
Yue Fei breathes calmly... -Ok, I cannot miss this time...
5ft step and flurry directed at the leader. Will use Perfect Strike an the first shot, and Point Blank activates
Flurry A, Point Blank, Perfect Strike: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Flurry A, Point Blank, Perfect Strike: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Damage A: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Flurry B, Point Blank: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Damage B: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Edit: Really?
I was waiting for Geoffrey, but I guess I'll post my turn now and let's see.
Yue sees how the horde of thieves assaults the caravan one after another. -We must try to cut this from the root.
5ft step back and I'll flurry down their leader, in the hopes that taking him down will demoralise the rest. If the leader is not targetable, I'll try to shoot down the 2 leftmost bandits.
Flurry A, Point Blank: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Damage A: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Flurry B, Point Blank: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Damage B: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Edit: I think a 10 is the highest I rolled so far in this game, after 6 attacks... :(
-You belong to the worst kind of scum, and you shall be taught a lesson!
Yue quickly realises that the situation is going out of hand. He spots the archers there, and fears the worst for the fate of the poor peasants. He tries to finish his most immediate threat and thin down the shooters before they can rain arrows on the innocent.
Round 2: 5ft step sideways, flurry against the wounded bandit and the topmost archer
Flurry vs Melee Bandit: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Damage vs Melee Bandit: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Flurry vs Ranged Bandit: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Damage vs Ranged Bandit: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Round 3: 5ft Step if needed, Flurry against 2 different archers
Flurry A: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Damage A: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Flurry B: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Damage B: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Yue Fei lets his arrows fly with grace in the hopes of stopping one or two bandits and making the rest rethink.
"I warn you, I ain't no joking. Cease your attack!"
Full-round:Flurry of blows, 1 shot to the rightmost bandit (A) and another to the one beside him (B).
Extra: 5' step.
Shot A: To-Hit: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Shot A: Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Shot B: To-Hit: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Shot B: Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Yue Fei steadily reaches for some arrows, puts them on the bowstring, closes his eyes and let them fly their path through the Four Winds...
Initiative:: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
-...well, you'd better hold your knives, or you'll have no belly to fill.
Sorry, maybe I misunderstood. Is this for level 1 only? I thought it was for levels 1 to 3.
Yue nods in a kind of silent salute.
Congrats. It was starting to be boring here :P
-I surely appreciate a good headband like the one you're showing me, but I fear it might be a bit beyond my capabilities to acquire it. If luck's still on my side, though, I'm sure with a little bit more of good hard work soon I'll be the content owner of one of your beauties.
-Well, sadly there's not much story to be told- says Yue while ordering another tankard. -When we were about to get to the interesting thing, we had to leave. Most of my group was wounded and keeping on it would have been suicidal. So I guess that is one less story I will be able to tell to my grandchildren.
He seems to be carefully thinking about saying something or not, while giving small sips to his new ale.
-About... er... what you said... How much would it cost to enchant one of my Masterwork weapons? Mind you, I don't have enough gold, but seeing what you offer will help me decide whether I should save some gold for an imminent purchase or spend it on something interesting...
-Thank you mate.
Yue orders something to feed his belly and help the ale down.
-Well, I've just been in a terrible place, and terrible things I've seen there, aye. But I'm a tough lad, here and here- touches his chest and head -so I'm willing to go to tough places - for some coin.
Pauses for a long drink and burps.
-Should you happen to know anyone who needs a tough lad, will you care to suggest I'm available? I guess I'm of more use to you with my purse full, uh?
Winks and finishes his ale.
How do we split the loot? Because I'm willing to keep some items. Shall we convert everything to gp and just discount the equivalent value of the items I want to keep? Then sell the rest and divide.
Yue Fei opens the door and sits on a stool with a tired expression.
-Uh... Hello, folks... I'm just returning from a hard task... may I have a tankard of ale before going back to my meditations and thingies?
Aw, sorry about it, man...
-Oh, noes! Guys, beware!
Yue quickly produces a pair of arrows and tries to shoot them while retreating himself to a safer place.
Flurry of Shoots, while stepping 5' backwards to try to put some meat between himself and the creature.
Flurry 1: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Damage 1: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Flurry 2: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Damage 2: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Yue feels that, should he decide to go down the stairs, he'd want his back safe, si first he heads to the East/South corridor to check there are no more enemies.
-Let's get moving, folks!
-Ok, you can leave. And next time your life is in danger, you might as well lend a hand.
Will examine the room and check for possible exits, via a Perception check. Also, I'll note down this loot and the previous one, to be split among all, even though I'm mostly playing alone :P
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
Also, as no one seems inclined to care for my well-being aside from myself, I'm going to use the just found CLW potion
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
-You can go freely if you tell us what have you found out about the place. And I'll know if you're lying...
Idk if it will be necessary, but I'll roll Sense Motive just in case he omits details or tries to deceive us to lead us into a trap.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
-Someone do something! For Whoever's Sake!.
5' step and repeat Flurry, using Perfect Strike. Trying not to die due to being the only fecking active player in the fight.
Flurry 1A: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Flurry 1B: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Damage 1: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Flurry 2: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Damage 2: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Edit: Confirmation Roll
Threat: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Lol, sorry about being vague. My shots were directed at the Elemental. If I wanted to shoot the bandit, I would have also used AoO against him.
Good Luck! ;) Or better, may you not need luck.
Flurries, 5f-step back. I won't AOO the bandit, though I won't let him pass either.
Flurry 1: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Damage 1: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Flurry 2: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Damage 2: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Edit: Threat Roll.
Threat 2: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
I'll delay my turn, in case any of my companions uses a non-lethal way of dealing with the "thing".
I understand that, even though I'm listed first on the list, the rolls were Initiative and thus I'm actually fourth with a score of 14.
-There's a room there- points Yue -and a fork there. Where shall we go? I say let's have a look at the room first.
-This seems to be a healing potion. Who wants to have it? And what do we do with the coins?
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19
Also, I will use one of my CLW potions.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Perception, hole A: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
Perception, hole B: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
Also, how much is this "a bit" I am healed? Depends on how many HP I still have, I will try to have a look down each alley.
You Fei stands up a bit sick and still hurt.
-Aw, what was that? What happened?
Hey, I'm ok with this. I spend most of my time in front of the screen, but I don't expect others to. Some of you guys have a life (got any spare one? :P).
Stabilise: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
Assuming I and Kavalina are engaged with a skeleton each.
Yue Fei cries in pain -Arrgh!- and tries to take a step aside - too late.
-Abomination!- he shouts, as he gets ready for another shot.
5ft step, Flurry (1 arrow to each skeleton)
Attack, Orange: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Attack, Green: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
-Beware! Undead!
For "speeding things up"'s sake I'll roll to-hit and damage at the same time, if you all agree. I'll use Move Action to produce the bow and Standard to attack.
Attack:: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Damage:: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
With such a roll, I understand I won't be able to see anything, so I'm going to climb down the ladder to the room.
