Easy brother Tomas, she just want to check and be sure that the other guest is not a danger. Well, follow me then.

Tomas don't like the situation and just leave to his room, Roseen seems still disturb by the dead birds and leave to the Library. Malvenos go with you.

In truth, Tomas shares the same doubts as you of Eiravel, but Ruan allowed her to stay and he will not do anything directly against that

Ythel Identify himself in the Infirmary and ask the guest there to open. A few seconds later the door is open. You can again smell the strong perfume you smelled yesterday.

Tomas is right - Comments a newcomer Ythel -But there is no need to violent actions Lady Dess, She is a guest like you as Ruan Allowed she to stay there, surely she will come out if asked by a member of hte clergy

Cymer came to this place after following a vision in which Darlen
warned him of a terrible darkness that would one day manifest
itself in the area. Believing this would be the source of the great evil,
Cymer founded his priory above it gathering a small group of
clerics dedicated to defeating the evil should it appear. Local
people aided in the priory’s construction and many attended the
services to hear the message of eternal vigilance against the
gathering darkness...
- He stops for a moment to thinks his next words

but the foretold darkness have never happened

Tomas is exaggerating, but its true that the Worship of Darlen in the region have waned compared to what once was... - He stops to think his next words - without a particular reason, the interest of the local just get diminished with the years and decades

But the lights have not been seen in several days - Ythel adds in a serious but dismissive way.

I bet The lights were nothing but the doomed spirits of the savages who claimed these lands centuries ago. They worshipped false gods and eternal damnation is their fate!

I'm Afraid these are not Cymer's golden years
