In my setting, there is a city that is known for it's "clockwork" creations.
I am wondering how to create stats for them?
Here is the critter they will be fighting next:
Hello friends!
What players have been sent to recover an artifact called the MageSlayer sword, as they believe it will help them slay the big bad who is a powerful wizard and happens to be one of the players Brothers. by the time the characters meet the brother they should be tenth level, and the brother will be sitting between 13 and 15 oh, it doesn't really matter if the weapon is a little overpowered, because they're going to go through a lot of hell to try to find it so I have no problem rewarding with them with a game changer. They've also agreed to return the sword to a powerful Ally once the brothers been killed so I'm not too worried about them misusing it they're good guys. So friends can you help me create this cool sword?
In my current game the Big Bad is one of the characters brother. He is a mage of some sort, and is to quote almost every NPC who has met him, "a piece of work." lol So far due to bounty hunters sent to kill the party, and the need to rescue the younger sister being sent off into an arrange marriage they haven't actually got to get face-to-face with the older brother. So I've had time to start fleshing him out, and now, statting him. Also, as they have thwarted his plans again and again, I think he's going to take a more active roll in trying to destroy the thing that stands between him inheriting the family fortune. I've been thinking about him showing up in dreams, or maybe clones of him for the characters to fight, (a la Manshoon from old FR, or Doombots and Dr. Doom). I want him to be a reoccurring villain that they can really love to hate. I'd also like to stat him as a PC, I think, current thought is lvl 10. So, can you fine fold offer me any suggestions for build? Spells, etc?
Funny thing, it's not Tiamat.
It's actually an evil dragon who has consumed the souls of four other elder dragons to become one horror. :) And yeah, jumping in to lvl 20 is gonna be tough, but we've been playing this game for coming on 14 years, so we'll figure it out. This arc alone has gone from 5th/PF Playtest/PF2e...haha. I'm running some one shots between sessions to get ready for this final arc. :)
So, I'm in a pickle! I started this campaign out in 5th edition, swapped over to the PF playtest....and now we are in PF2e...which is amazing, and my players are having so much fun. One problem. The Big Bad is gonna take the form of a 5-headed dragon. Aaaaand, well. 5-headed dragons do not seem to be in Pathfinder. So, I need some help starting out a 5-headed dragon. It's gonna be taken on by 4 20th level players. I'm still very new to PF having never played its first edition so I'm not sure how to even start. Any advice would be super, super awesome! Thanks! |
