Though Yoltzin has rarely demonstrated the ability for her to do so, the strange enchantment of her bracers allowed her to mimic aspects of her summons. Yoltzin's olive skin has become more pallid and sickly over the night's course, her meditation having been plagued by unpleasant sensations and thoughts. Nothing about it yet seemed coherent. Djack's later voice jolts her back to reality as if waking, even when she'd been standing. "It is... a different experience. I have of course interacted with many a spirit, but those that cling here are... Older by far. Weighed down with regret and... Other things, I am sure. They speak of a 'master', yet this means nothing to me. We should have had none such." She pauses, then a slight bit of color returned to her cheeks as she gave Djack a more piercing look. It was easy slipping into the dormitory routine for the night prior. Everything was mostly in the same place it'd been the last time she'd slept there, her people's habitual nature prompting little deviation from the norm. The changes she could spot barely counted off her first hand d alone. One wall appeared to have a more recent stain of a few months, a couple blankets appeared to have been mended somewhat recently, the portrait of a dryad which'd always hung askew to the left which was now tilted the opposite. The faces of the other girls were still easily recognized, and she shared with them a little when their curiosity over her brief vanishing became too much to bear. It was in them that the presence of time was most evident as they transitioned into topics of gossip. Ihuicatl had been courted by a temple guard since spring, while Zyanya's grandfather passed into the flames following a bad fall while performing chores. For a single night it was if she'd never left. Yoltzin that following morning met the party with a lingering good mood, shooting Djack a michivous look. "You've behaved your chaming self, I wonder? We need not leave behind broken hearts once departed from Luln."

A grimace twisted her face as the thought of having to be confronted by her family came into possibility. While the meeting with her master has proven better than she'd feared, she felt maybe another decade would be in order at least before she faced whatever wrath they might feel for her abandonment of duties. "<I shall stay in the dormitory. Thank you for your consideration, master.>" She paused a moment, shifting from one foot to the other. "<I have... continued my studies, during my...> sabbatical, <the ephemeral call it. The spirits that wander the lands beyond our home are plentiful an hold many stories yet untold.>"
