Apologies for holing up a bit for that confusion, but also appreciate her efforts being recognized. With the beast dead, the elf leans down and presses a hand to the unconscious man's temple. His forehead is hot, body stricken with curse. "I feel he will live, but it will take him some time to recover, or for me to prepare the spells to accelerate the recovery. Before he passed out however, he handed me this." She pulls out the scroll, "He spoke something of a chief of the desert raiders, how they needed to stopped..."

She frowns as she takes hold of the scrolcase, before laying a hand ont he man's forehead. "Shh, you may tell us on your own what happened. Just rest here for the moment. My friends and I shall deal with this vile threat in short order." Turning to stand protectively over the fallen man, he raises her hands and begins a short chant, grasping hold of a shred of divine fury to imbue her companions. Blessing of Fervor.

Habit borne of decades, Yoltzin was slow to rise and groggy for a good while afterwards. She mumblbed and grumbled throughout breakfast, only truly perking up upon communing with Xenxolotl in prayer. The warmth of divinity held within her heart was enough to finally put her into proper form to enjoy the pleasant meadowland they found themselves within. "I'm still not so familiar with this area as I'd prefer, would ay of you happen to know how far we are from our destination?" She asked of the general party.

Very nicely written, I much agree! "Amideo, with wit? Wet or dry, it is the first I've heard of such a thing." The elf pokes without a hint of heat, a smile upon her lips. The man truthfully had been a great boon during her travels over the past month. He had a way of connecting with the people of this land that she simply couldn't quite grasp herself. A word from him has stayed the ire of at least one farmer who'd likened her to the witch they'd fought earlier in the year. Her golden earrings jingle as she turns to the youngling, "Truly, it is pleasant to meet new faces such as yours Augusto. Was a little delayed for reasons. Entering into the room late, Yoltzin spots the small gathering of familiar faces in addition to a new one. A tilt of her head jingles the elf's earrings as she observed the human with curiosity before making her approach. "I hope I'm not interrupting much."

After arriving back in Albarra, I feel like Yoltzin would try to help integrate the freed servants who decided to leave their settlement. Many of them held elven blood, so she has a sense of kinship towards them that makes her feel responsible for their well being. So she would do what she could to help find them accommodations and work for the new residents, and spend time each weekend to visit and help better integrate them with the local community. While not trained in missionary work, I do feel like she would also try introducing the traditional elven pantheon to these distant cousins of hers as well. Outside of that, Yoltzin would continue her work as a shaman. Traveling between the city and local villages or occasionally further abroad in order to perform her duties. Exorcising of haunts or the occasional demon, ensuring that relations with local spirits are healthily maintained, performing rites for the deceased wherever needed. In general she continues trying to make sure the region gains an understanding and respect for the departed, even teaching small ways to mitigate or ward off the more malicious dead.

Having carefully observed the way Mahouf was pushed through the portal, Momo thinks himself above such nonsense and choose an approach best suited for an existence like itself. Before the encounter with the elder, Yoltzin would speak back to her companion. "It is usually a rarity for our people to be in conflict with the honored dead. Beings such as the bloodless Rosentos had been almost unheard of within these forests. Still, it does happen. There are some who give no honor to Xenxolotl, abusing our honored dead to achieve mortal ambitions... AS well, Rogue spirits or restless wanderers can harm us as much as any quickling." She pauses, navigating over a large branch along their trek. A comforting smile is directed to her friend once she has. "There may yet be things we could learn from one another even then. Be careful with your wording, is all I advise Rocko." Now... Standing to meet with him properly, Yoltzin momentarily tucks her head down in reverence. "<Elder Itzakun, I'm honored. Yes, our adventure has bore much fruit from the vine. Some even which have surprised even I."

A sense of relief swelled up in her soul as she laid witnessed to the final end of both spectre and vampire. Yoltzin approached the glade before they left, twisting a lit censer to help ritually cleanse it of any remnant shreds of remorse or malice. Both times she passed it's way, she did not so much as even glance to the fresh-fallen corpse. It's body was already tainted by unsanctioned unlife, never again would it rise on it's own accord or to the whims of another. Let the forest have take it instead. Later, as they approach the familiarity of her home, Yoltzin felt none of the apprehension that weighed on her during their initial approach. She welcomed the sight of it, acknowledging that it would be the last time in perhaps years she would lay her eyes upon it.

Yoltzin offers no surprise at the apparent forgetfulness of the spirit, she is well acquainted with habits of those who are dead. Pulling from her back, she removed the wrapped head of Rosentos. "We have brought him, in pieces if not in whole. "Mm..." AS the elf circled around the various items once more, her left hand carefully fingering the beaded necklace, she found her attention drawn to a rather simple looking iron mace. There was nothing decorative about it, it's metal flanges utilitarian in mathematically balanced design. When she ran a finger down the piece she felt a spark of connection to it, a shallow realization that while a poor weapon of war, this could instead be an excellent method of channeling her spirits. "I'm of the opinion that your coins hold little weight in our forests. These other items, however..." Pausing, Yoltzin lifts the beaded necklace to examine it closer, fingering the markings as if trying to identify the carver's intent. It seemed Elven to her at first blush. "My people place great value in handworked crafts such as this, or the rest of these glittering baubles. If you were to give them anything I believe these items would go a long ways to curry their favor. Mmm... I'd also be remiss to ignore the sheer trade value these old coins might have with your frontiersman." We should probably talk about those specifics in ooc, i'd imagine.
