please forgive the newbisness of this thread.

I recently made my first Paladin character (paladin of abadar) for PFS, and while I love almost everything about how i made her, the game i played the other day suddenly threw a wrench into how I have her designed.

the paladin code of honor.

in the game I was playing we had downed a creature that had attacked us without warning, but had not yet killed it. before the party could slaughter it, I held them back and used detect evil on it, and surely enough it pinged evil, so I left the party kill it. after the game we talked about that moment a bit and someone asked me why I didnt kill it since it was evil. my feelings on it was that since it was down and now unarmed it posed minimal to no threat so it seemed dishonorable to kill it. some one else then pointed out how it could get a second wind and attack from behind in the near future, or block our path of escape if we had to retreat.they then pointed out that i had based my characters code of honor on more modern code then one that might have existed towards a medieval-ish time era. so to me this raised 2 questions

1. what does it mean to for a paladin to act with honor within the realm of PFS?
2. If something goes against the code of honor but serves a greater good, is it justified? (i.e. stealing something on behalf of the PFS with assurance a greater good will be served.)

I've been debating with my GM about the rules of animal companions and I wanted to get outside/fresh opinions. (this is for a PFS game)

So the first one is the nature of animal companions and their feats. Hunters gain Outflank as a class feature and automatically share it with their AnC. I argue that since a feat would likely indicate time invested in training an AnC would know how to flank naturally without having to teach them the flank trick. GM says no.

Second is about AnC and their ability to understand speech after they get 3 INT and get a rank in linguistics. Since they can now understand a full language does that eliminate the need for most tricks in the game? I.E. it knows and can understand the word "flank" that would seemingly eliminate the need for the trick flank.

So I got bored and decided to make a escort-ish type of character in PFS, who, if other PCs roll a high enough diplo check, might provide her services for a small fee. this raises a 2 part question:

1. Am i allowed to provide those kind of services to other PCs for a fee
2. Is there any risk of pregnancy for female characters (namely PCs)?

I realize this is an odd question but id rather ask now then be blindsided later lol

Fairly straightforward question, can someone join a PFS game that's in session or is it once the game starts no one can join in. Of course this is within reason, coming in around maybe a quarter into the game not at the end.

I'm sure this has been asked somewhere, but my google-fu is too weak to find the right combo of words to find the thread.

So basically I'm trying to make a elf ninja and the favored class section caught my eye, but it ONLY mentions rogue talents so since ninja is a archetype/variant of rogue does this apply in anyway to ninja tricks? (this also goes hand-in-hand with the extra ninja talent feat.

This is for a character that is registered with the PFS so I do need a official ruling on this if possible.

"Rogue: Add +1 to the number of times per day the
rogue can cast a cantrip or 1st-level spell gained from the
minor magic or major magic talent. The number of times
this bonus is selected for the major magic talent cannot
exceed the number of times it is selected for the minor
magic talent. The rogue must possess the associated
rogue talent to select these options."
