While I'm okay to continue with this group, I should probably take a break. I'm running four other tables at the moment (thankfully, I just had two others finish), and playing in a handful more. Spread too thin!

Appreciated it! Well done. Definitely among the better GMs out there in PbP-land. (Honestly, I try to copy many of the great things you do.)

No splash on the thrown herbicide?

Yoon can't do much from where she's at, now that the creature has moved. She hustles to a better position.

Yoon pulls out the herbicide she is now very glad she carried, and lobs it at the plant.
Actually, at the plant's square, because easier to hit that way.

Just riding by briefly to note that I *am* around, but super busy with a work trip. So far so good! I was worried about that plant thing.

Reminder, Yoon's flames *are* subject to SR (why is there SR in a level 1 scenario?!), but she does have spell penetration, and gets a bonus (1d20+3 total).

Without waiting for an ominous voice to speak of the dark and dangerous things that dwell in the depths of the world, Yoon heads over to the well (hands out, as not to alarm or intimidate the creature), and peers in.

"Heeeelloooo!" She cocks her ear and listens for an echo. Golly, it's dark down there. She produces a light effect as far down as she's able.
Yoon's light produces heat and flame similar to a small torch, in addition to the light effect.

With so many games going, it's easy to forget why one is slowing down. (So this post is to remind myself as well.)

Yoon taps her foot impatiently, waiting to see if the creature responds to Adowyn. She'd help move the grate, but she's little and it looks heavy.

Eyeing the creature, she makes little balls of flame in her hands, and tosses them from one hand to the other.

Okay, so I did some research.

Kellid is an ethnicity that describes barbarians from the north of Avistan. Kellids typically speak Hallit. (source)

Kelish is the language of the Great Padishah Empire of Kelesh far to the east of the Inner Sea. It's common in many places, but the one that resonates with me is Qadira. (Also Katapesh.)

Confusingly, the Kaleshi people (ethnicity), are dominant in modern Qadira (where they speak Kelish), and Osirion (where they speak Osiriani).

Even more confusing is that Paizo used this similar sounding names for a language and ethnicity that have nothing to do with each other and are on opposite ends of the continent. Woe is we.

I'm still seeking a good (clean) metaphor for how often Paizo.com is down. In one fight we had a character knocked unconscious and healed several times versus the BBEG, which worked great as a metaphor, but only with that table....

How 'bout:

Is there a way to 5'step out of these? We're backed up against a wall, but I thought we'd just entered the room. If not, then move out of the swarms (if no AoO) instead of gathering power, and take one burn.

Crowe (or rather, the player) has dropped off the face of the earth. He was GMing a couple of games too (maybe you saw the WBG games @ Flaxseed seeking a new GM a week or so ago?), and disappeared from there as well, with no notice. As mentioned, it's been about a month since any post from any of his aliases. No one seems to know what happened to him.
