While still at where they found the electronet...

DC 15 Society: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (15) + 0 = 15

Xyzexius picks up the illegal item and examines it, unwrapping some of the electrical tape, "It has an outdated version of the Frozen Trove logo, which was covered by the tape. It's not the best evidence, as Frozen Trove could say anyone could have stolen or bought it from one of their employees."

If no one objects, Xyzexius will hold onto the the electronet for the time being. Takkar knows his partner well enough to think Xyzexius plans to return it in a dramatic fashion to the rightful owners.

DC 17 Nature: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24

Xyzexius takes a hold of Takkar's hand, "Darling, those are RAINbirds. They are such a dazzling display of natural beauty...like I am." He then releases his partner's hand as he notices that the birds are terrified, and moves his hand to the grip of his skyfire sword.

Sometimes there is a direct correlation to how long was spent typing up the post that was gobbled up by computer gremlins to the volume of the yell of frustration....

Xyzexius sashays over, puts a hand on Takkar's shoulder, as he bends forward so the two partners' heads are quite close.

DC 18 Nature: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17

"I have not."

On the enercopter...

"Game on. What's the plan, Kalahara?"

In the ship on the way to the Raxil...

As Takkar and Raluraz are at the helm, Xyzexius talks the latest fashion styles with Kalahara. While chatting, being sure he does hog 'the talking stick' he preens and poses as if he were being broadcast live throughout the galaxy.

"Kalahara, after the mission we should absolutely take Stitchvine shopping for some flashy attire," he says as he turns his head to look at the raxilite, "provided of course, that is something of interest to you."

While his head is still lower to the ground, he turns and looks at the raxilite, "You must be the talented Stitchvine."

Paizo forums went down while I was tryng to edit my posts....

Earlier, when Takkar and Xyzexius first arrived to board the ship...

"Kalahara, you look magnificient as always!" the dragonkin exclaimed when he arrived at the ship with his beloved partner, Takkar.

"Go ahead and give her a hug first, lover, as I am going to give her a fabulous spin around afterwards." he tells Takkar.

As Takkar greets Kalahara, Xyzexius does a slide on the ground and ends with his left knee on the ground in front of Raluraz, "Good to see you again, my friend. What's new?"

Takkar, you're our pilot.

Raluraz was probably piloting before Takkar and Xyzexius boarded the ship.

"(Kahalara) chose (Takkar) for this job because he’s a skillful pilot,"

Looking at the pre-gens' stat blocks, our best pilot are: Takkar (+9), Raluraz (+8)

Piloting is a trained-only skill (sans Recall Knowledge checks), so no piloting from: Stitchvine (untrained by the math, +1, since if trained it should be +7; their Dex is +2, not +1...), Kahalara (untrained), Xyzexius (untrained)

Regarding Xyzexius' " overtly romantic and prone to grand gestures":

Feel free to let me know if you have any specific filters you would like me to apply.

I am going to try to keep the following characters from tv shows in mind when my posts include such words/actions.

The generic Looney Tunes (20th century-era, as I am not that familiar with all the significant changes that have altered their shows during the last three decades.

The Animaniacs (original show) sans shouting "Hello, nurse!" of course. :)

Jack from Will and Grace (from what I can recall of the character)

Cam from Modern Family

Please suggest any other such characters from tv shows you think match up with Xyzexius' personality.

@Xyzexius:

Given that it is one of their Starfinder 1 PCs, I am guessing that is just a flavour post by phaeton_nz ;-)

Thank you for the clarification. :)

@phaeton_nz:

You stated on here you are taking the witchwarper (which is the pre-gen Raluraz the skittermander), but in gameplay you posted as a raxilite (which is the mystic pre-gen).

Please clarify for the others whether you are playing the witchwarper (and ignore your gameplay post as a raxilite, if you have not edited/deleted it before the edit window expires) or if you are playing the mystic (as your gameplay post implies), so they know if the mystic or the witchwarper is still available to select, in addition to the envoy.

Thanks, GM.

I will update Xyzexius' Starbuilder character sheet (in the notes section) with the discreprancies from the type-ups over the weekend.

@other players: For ones of you who would like me to create your pre-gens on Starbuilder (Pathbuilder 2E), depending on my time, I might leave the notes section blank for you to add in the discepancies from the type-ups for the pre-gens, and if so, you would have to add them in so you have a reference for when you should be using the incorrect math calculations from the pre-gen type-ups).

@GM: What do you want us to use: the incorrect calculations of the pre-gens' type-ups or the correct math calculations for their character builds?

If the correct calculations, which skill should I add as a trained skill for Xyzexius (for being doubled on Athletics from their background and class)? ==> I suggest Acrobatics, which makes sense to complement his Athlete background and his flamboyant ("Xyzexius has made a name for themself as a flashy, daring fighter.") style (which includes the trained-only Acrobatics action, Maneuver in Flight).

I created Xyzexius on Starbuilder (Pathbuilder), and noticed a few discrepancies in their build.

I googled to see if there was any errata regarding the discrepancies...

In the Starfinder 2e Rescue on Raxil adventure, is there errata for the pre-gens' statisitics?

@GM/other players: If you give me the until Tuesday, I can created the other four pre-gens on Starbuilder as well (and make note of any discrepancies for their type-ups as well).

As for the discrepancies for Xyzexius (that I have noticed thus far):

They have 1 remaining trained skill slot.

Their Perception modifier should be +7 (not +6).
Their Fortitude save should be +9 (not +7).
Their skill modifier for Sports Lore should be +5 (not +6).
Their skill modifier for Nature should be +5 (not +6).

In the type-up in "Other Abilities", Indomitable Self is listed (could not find that - I think it should be Stellar Resilience (which is not on the type-up, which is the 3rd level solarian class feature).

(I have not verified this result of the google result ===> if it is accurate, then Pathbuilder/Starbuilder has not been updated yet regarding the errata that ammo clips for chem tanks have 10 charges instead of 8).

note: on Xyzexius' SB sheet I renamed the Commercial Battle Ribbon to Commercial Battle Ribbon (upgraded to Tactical due to Duo-Enhancers).

I did another relevant google search as well.

For Starfinder 2E adventures for SFS, what are GMs and players to do when the statistics for a pre-gen are not correct, use the incorrect pre-gen stats or use the correct stats that result from the pre-gen's character build?

First AI-generated response to Query, which contradicts the second (which I generated when I clicked on the link when I was in preview mode for this message):

AI Overview

For Starfinder Society (SFS) Second Edition, GMs and players must use the printed statistics as they are written on the pre-generated character sheet, even if those stats contain typos or do not perfectly align with the character's underlying mechanical build.

The Starfinder Society Guide to Organized Play mandates specific protocols to handle these discrepancies uniformly across all tables.

Core Protocols for SFS Pre-Gens

Play the Sheet as Written: Do not manually rebuild the character or recalculate numbers mid-session to "correct" them against the rulebook rules.

Official Errata Exception: You may only alter a pre-gen's statistics if Paizo explicitly publishes an official errata, FAQ, or direct campaign update changing that specific character's sheet.

Table Consistency: Keeping the sheet unmodified ensures a standardized, fair play experience for all global Organized Play participants.

Report Errors: If you discover a math mismatch or build illegality on a pre-gen sheet, play through the session using the printed numbers and report the error to the Paizo Organized Play forums so developers can fix it in a future PDF update.

The AI-generated result that I got when I clicked on the link above while in preview mode, which contradicts the other one (This one is the one that would ensure that all pre-gens match up properly to a character that was built using the pre-gens' character builds, which would not have incorrect calculations):

AI Overview

In Starfinder Society (SFS) Second Edition, players and GMs should use the correct statistics that result from the pre-generated character’s actual build math and official errata, rather than using the incorrect numbers printed on a flawed sheet.

Under Paizo Organized Play policy, character sheets must always be mechanically legal. The standard practice for addressing errors on pre-gen sheets includes the following steps:

What Players & GMs Must Do

Prioritize the Build Math: If a pre-gen sheet contains an error (such as a missing attribute modifier to damage, an incorrect proficiency bonus, or a miscalculated Armor Class), you must use the mathematically correct values dictated by the rules.

Apply Latest Errata: Starfinder 2E regularly updates its rules through Official Errata Waves. If an errata update changes a class feature or feat used by a pre-gen, the player must use the updated, correct rules during play.

Recalculate on the Fly: Players and GMs are explicitly authorized to calculate modifiers directly on the sheet to ensure they reflect accurate character creation rules.

Audit Digital Platforms: When using digital toolsets like Demiplane's Starfinder Nexus, check if the system has already auto-corrected the pre-gen stats to match correct game mechanics.

Summary of Differences

Action [Policy Status] [Reason]

Using Printed (Incorrect) Stats [❌ Not Allowed] [Violates Society rules on maintaining legal character records.]

Using Corrected Build Stats [Required] [Ensures fairness and consistency across all Organized Play tables.]

I suggest refreshing your browswer a few times to see the various contradicting results.
