That's sad. I just like to thank you all for a wonderful introduction into pathfinder, and for just being wonderful players and GM. It was a honor.

Dulae is hardly the figure I have in mind for punishing wild mages of great accord.

Shaking his head to clear his head, the half elf closes his eye for a moment. We're coming Dara and Alaina. As Abeni enters Xizoh respectsfully dips his head, partially to hide his wince at the idea of questioning. "Nice to make your acquaintance, to bad it couldn't be under better circumstances."

Yeah, I'm good. My apologies, my old laptop finally gave up the ghost, and I had to wait for a new one to arrive.

Blinking at the major's remark, the healer shrugs, doing his best to avoid showing his face. "Sometimes, the path we wish for isn't the one fate wants us to traverse."

Raising his eyebrow at Elioden's remarks, the healer makes a point of rummaging through his worn satchel. "I'm afraid I have no burn cream for further interactions with females."

A smile breaking through at the wink, Xizoh shakes his head. "'Fraid it isn't a good idea to play with Fireball, given your penchant for being on fire."

"Major, may I trouble you to get some healing? Not everything came back together as it should have." Xizoh's statement is quiet, and hesitant.

I share the above statement. This game is one of the things I look forward to in my life, and I love the world and our interactions with it. I had more a few spots where I missed posting when I should have, but I plan to do better.

Sighing, Xizoh gives a smile at the token of Altien. "Well, I'm glad we won't have to leave a trail of bodies. Do no harm, you know?" At the mention of making their way back to Captain Vazquez the half elf nervously.

Clucking in irritation, Xizoh moves next to his elf friend and looks Henri in the eye.

After his whispered message to Henri, the half elf states, "So the water is not the best way to approach. What about the guards? Is there any way we can put them to sleep for trial?

I'd be fine with that plan.

Didn't we handle something similar with the wrights? Surely I can help, after all Oranis taught me

Letting go of his anger and his flesh form, Xizoh gently pats Cel on the shoulder, his exhaustion slowing his movement. "If you can help us find our friends, I'll help however I can."

We don't have a true midterm, but three exams and a final worth 75% of our grade. Fall quarter ends December 19th I believe.

I feel that, it's just hard for me to not understand something easily. I've never fought this hard for understanding.

MCAT? So far the plan is use the university's Bs/Ms program to get both in 5 years, and then decide where from there.

Not as well as I hoped, but I did some investigating, and I won't lose my scholarship with my current grade, and can replace the grade by retaking it next semester.

Dashing past Henri, Xizoh whirls his chained spike over his friends' heads in an attempt to finish off the shadow. "I DON'T FEAR THE DARKNESS!"

Attack: 1d20 + 7 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 7 - 1 + 2 = 20

Damage: 2d4 + 4 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (1, 2) + 4 + 2 + 2 = 11

Power attack with a five foot step, and hey, is there any protocol for using power attack with PbP?

Letting his shadow start to grow inky and unnaturally dark, the healer snarls. "There's more to us than your damnable song says."

Yeah, sorry. My calc exam is tomorrow, so I will celebrate with a bunch of decent posting!

It's a biochem lab, focusing on halophiles. We just got it to express the gene we wanted, so yay!

Though my calc and chem midterm are both approaching so if I disappear, I'm trying.

Shaking his head, Xizoh takes a moment to carefully inspect his friend. "Physically, your cousin is fine. Seems like she could use something to destress. If anyone sees wild lorezuria growing, a white flower, please let me know." Thinking you can see the future is a classic delusion, I'm surprised no one reported this in the military.

Giving Dara a gentle pat, Xizoh adds, "If you want, I might be able to find some plants to help you sleep."

Nibbling at breakfest and washing it down with coffee, the doctor fishes out a gold coin he flips to Alaina. "Let me help with my share." Under his breath, he adds, "Yep, nothing I love like teleporting."

Ready to leave

Wishing Henri an excellent night of rest, Xizoh collapses into the bed, frustration and paranoia giving way to rest. For a moment, his shadow begins to grow and enlarge, before the half elf fades to sleep.

Getting up, and quietly leaving the room, the young doctor notice's Dara's exhausted appearance. "You do seem a bit wore out."

It's going well enough, I've got midterms next week I believe. Calculus is still harsh, but I've got a tutor and am devoting a good chunk of time to it. The rest are all enjoyable and getting along pretty well with me, lab research is very interesting.

Taking his key, Xizoh casually turns his neck to a satisfying pop. Who are they?

Frowning at the excess, Xizoh cannot deny the quiet grumble of his stomach. Handing over the coin, the half elf takes a seat beside Cel and starts eating his food.

Pulling two gold out of his coin purse, Xizoh places his coins down. "I'd appreciate one of those beds."

Dryly, the half elf replies, "Ah, that is what I've been doing wrong all this time." He snaps his hands for effect.

Shaking his head, the doctor contemplated his empty mug. "I don't believe we happen to need a ballad."

Staring, Xizoh asks in astonishment, "Did you really just ask that? Do you always tempt fate so blatantly?"

Nodding, Xizoh sips at his watered down ale.

Snorting in amusement, the half elf responds, "I bet they do." In a more serious tone, he adds, "I doubt Oranis would ever harm anyone."

At his sympathy, Xizoh's face softens but his eyes remain distant. "Perhaps, but when your family is already distrusted, magic will ruin what little good you have built."

Shrugging, the doctor smiles grimly. "I learned a long time ago not to share."

Giving Elioden an exasperated glance, Xizoh says, "Not everyone has access to magic, and even those who do may be too poor to pay for such luxuries." Staring the bard in the eyes, he adds, "Magic is fickle, and may not always work. Steady hands and a quick mind will save you everytime." I wonder if he would be so reluctant if he was the one treating someone in a back alley struggling to live.

Underneath his breath, the doctor mumbles, "Sure, lets build atop shrines. I'm sure the spirits were thrilled by that idea. Anger the giant glowing spirit wolves why don't we?"

As Terry bolts off, Xizoh comments in a languid tone, "يبدو دودة هو سيد التقليد، ولا يخشى رائحة البارود أو انها المالك. كن حذرا صديق.

At the mention of shooting the bard, Xizoh smiles and pats his rather worn medical satchel. "I could make sure he didn't make too much of a mess, so don't worry about that." Giving his most reassuring smile, he adds, "He won't be dead meat, just pained meat." The doctor stares Elioden in the eyes. "Gunshots are quite unpleasant, and it takes a skilled hand to remove all of the bullet."

SM-I See...: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

At Elioden's excuse, the half elf frowns. "I would believe that, given how you don't even know which of us is who." Sighing when the gold strikes the table, the young doctor looks pointedly at his friends, specifically Alaina. "I'm not sure we have time to spare."

Xizoh returns Henri's nod before pointing to his shadow with a small grin. "ثعبان لمشاهدة ثعبان."

"Xizoh, and it seems that way." At least none of the other details leaked out, better know for my ability to keep the living alive than the monstrous serpent that dorms in my shadow. The half elf's face, the familiar sun tanned appearance given by the cloak, is drawn in resignation.

"I don't speak for the others, but I personally don't want songs of any sort, much ones that make light of that night." As Xizoh speaks he traces the arrow scar with his thumb. For a moment, the half elf pauses, before adding, "في بعض الأحيان، الديدان لديها تطلعات الرحلة، رحلة مسروقة من أولئك الذين لمس السماء."

Giving Alaina a sideways look, Xizoh takes a moment to talk to Cel. "Cel, remember how Henri looked when she reappeared? Imagine feeling how she felt, and having some stranger mock that."

Wow, just barely realized who Elioden is. Bravo my friend, bravo.

When the bard sings the slaughtered version of his name, Xizoh winces. Well, if they believe me to be a girl, all the better to avoid being recognized.

As the song goes on however, Xizoh finds himself clenching his fist so tight his nails begin to dig into his skin. Henri barely escaped her brother, and I nearly DIED so that they can sing BAWDY SONGS?

Biting his lip, Xizoh take a deep daft of his watered down ale. And there goes our attempt to remain conspicuous.

Sitting his drink down, the half elf adds, "Don't believe every tale that flirts between the drunken breath of travelers."

Following Cel and Alaina into the bar, Xizoh nods his head when Archana asks about additional drinks. "Just watered down ale please."

As the bard begins singing he finds his mouth stuck open at the rendition of the mountain adventure.

And here I thought the song thing was hyperbole. Out loud, Xizoh muses, "Word must travel quite fast for our adventure on the mountain to have radiate all the way to such a cultured and beautiful place."

Yeah, I've been enjoying the more varied foods.

Thanks for the advice, and thanks even more for the offer. I very well may have to take you up on that :D

My school is actually really near the path of totality, with a town not too far away being one of the total areas.

Songs? You have to joking? It is strange he cannot match the person to the myth. Feeling his shadow start to writhe, Xizoh clamps down on his magic, before turning to give Henri a sideways glance. "I wonder if they at least sing in tune?"

Returning his gaze to Terry, the doctor plasters a smile on his face. "Thanks for the guidance." Did Terry once have an obsession with the major, or another official? I should ask at some point.

For someone who's hometown had a population of 5,000, going to a town of 50,000 is quite a jump. Though, I won't lie, I'm not very confident heading into calculus.

It's been interesting. My roommates are decent, if a bit wilder than I am. I'm mostly spent my time with a bunch of friends a couple wings over.

"Yes, I am the doctor. I don't suppose you could tell me what sort of wounds we should expect. Bandages can fix quite a bit, but not everything."

Glancing at Dara, Xizoh returns to inspecting the map. It's none of my business, and she has been a good person. There is no reason for me to poke my nose where it doesn't belong. Smiling at Henri's comment of ale, the half elf fondly shakes his head.

Wow, that is interesting and not at all how I expected professional athletes to be treated by their bosses. I would assume they would be in the best possible shape for the best performance, if not the whole being human thing.

Sorry, just barely have settled into college. It's...interesting to say the least.

Happy Birthday Henri!

Closing his eyes at the act of teleportation, Xizoh blinks rapidly at their destination. Such opulence. As the other give their greeting the doctor gives a small bow. "Xizoh Shadelock, nice to make your acquaintance."

As the major displays the maps the half elf's brow furrows. "Do you have somewhere we can stay without raising suspicion while we wait for daybreak to give us our opportunity,"

Ready for teleport

"Ritualistic legalese?" Xizoh gives Silo a sideways look. "Are you saying we should brush up on our contract writing as to avoid being harmed at their hands?" I don't want Anathema and a fey to ever, ever meet.

Reassuringly giving his medical satchel a pat, Xizoh nods. "You got it, though it hardly seems fair to reassign me my duties."

Tucking the money into a pocket, Xizoh raises his arm in confusion at the mention of a shapeshifter. "Henri raises a good point." Pausing for a moment to tuck his hand beneath his chin, supporting the gesture with his free hand, Xizoh has flashes of childhood stories and shouted sayings of fey mention, but lacks anything to contribute. He had avoided magic with a passion, and fey fell into that category.

I'd be willing to take a swing at number two given about a week or so, but I am nervous about my ability to play them to character. Right now is crazy busy with me preparing to be an adult and move out, but once college starts up I should have the free time needed to manage a character or two more if need be. Sorry, I know I've been lax, but life has been busy for me, and rough for a lot of my close friends and family. My apologies everyone.

The doctor's face is pensive, and solemn as he adds, "He has no compunctions about lethal force."

Turning to give Dulae a melancholic grin, Xizoh shakes his head. "We can hardly hoard you all to ourselves Sunshine." Reaching out to rest his hand on her shoulder, the half elf's smile widens ever so slightly. "Try not to be too wild without us."

Sorry! I've been bouncing between packing for college, finishing last minute errands, and my last week of work.

Sighing at the bad habit, Xizoh ignores Henri's vice. Placing his hand on his friends shoulder, the half elf gently squeezed the sharpshooter's shoulder. "Every burden shared is a burden more easily hefted high. You're our friend Henri, it's not a problem." The soft smile on his face sits in contrast to the band of scar tissue around his throat, but Xizoh seems all the more resolute for it.

His shadow shudders for a moment, and the doctor frowns. "I'd love a chance to correct his worldview, but I don't think that's the best idea, at least for the moment." After Cel's question, he places his face in his palms and breathes out sharply. "Sounds like we need to decide soon if we want to get to Kinghaven."

That's fine Alaina, life happens. If you decide to come back we'll be happy to have you.

Doing his best to return Henri's smiles, Xizoh waits until Silo retreats to produce the threatening letter. "Seem's you were right about your brother. Not one to give us is he?" The half elf hands his friend the paper with an anxious expression, carefully watching her reaction.

Sorry about that, was away from home visiting a friend and forgot my laptop. Add in the five hour drive, and I didn't have enough time to really check in.
