Xi just smiled as the Dragonmen commander agreed with her. She was delighted for once that she would get to make others pay, no more kiddie b$%$~~%%. They would pay severely for what they had done...

Xi'Tir arrives a fierceness in her eyes like never before. Seeing the tense atmosphere she chuckles. "What be wrong eh? Lets kill Dovan and be done with dis s%*&."

Retconning my above post for her as this post fits a lot better.

She arcs an eyebrow at their response. "Kill dis filth!" Her command was followed by swiftly raising her bow and unleashing hell on the three barbarians, unarmed or not they were enemies of her chosen nation. As such they died the moment they crossed into her borders and attacked her. She had no mercy left to give.

Fits far better than the one above, ket me know if you need ini or combat rolls but She isn't letting any of them escape alive. Woo for Ranger Favored enemy human.

Seeing they were disarmed she lowers her bow. "Go and don't come back." Her words carry weight as her aggravates looked at these barbarians unlikely.

once they were gone she spoke loudly enough so that the farmers could hear her. "Unlike the bandits. They can spread the word to their kind. If they return they will be enemies of our land. Right now we have invaders to repel so save your hate for them!" She had Maria's shield still and was focused on bringing the baroness Dovans head.

Seeing the oncoming barbarians she raises her bow, unleashing three arrows and aiming to disarm these oncoming barbarians.

Xi'Tir takes her chances in breaking away fromt he fort while the zombies are distracted. Gathering Chimalma and Chi and taking the Rear guard in case the dead men tried to pursue them. "Stick to the path and keep moving. If dey come stay in groups and keep running, fight dem only if'n ya have too!"

All kidding aside I can see cultural difference being in play. Her sense of justice or what constitutes good in the world could be completely different from an Andoran. Granted attacking them like that was not a kind or goodly thing to do, but to her she feels that they betrayed Danath from the start and now she is worried he's dead along with her sister.

So I am interested in seeing where it goes from here. However she remains loyal to the kingdom after all. Those men got what they deserved but she is no Queen. She is the Spymaster, The Enforcer of the crown as she needs to be. Those men, were bumps in the long bloody road ahead.

How many are there? Can they be dealt with at range or are they complacent now that they are feeding? She would have thrown the corpses out the back to draw them away from the front if possible.

She doesn't flinch, her thoughts filled by the screams of youths tortured by vile men, her being tortured and this dark justice does nothing to quiet the voices. However no matter what happens at least today there would be justice. As the last one is thrown over she mumbles. "Let da gods sort ya bastards out. We have fighting ta do." She spits in contempt for the men she had ordered executed just minutes before.

The darkness that swept through the farmers bothered her but she would do what she had to do to win now...

At their chanting she raises her hands to silence them. She spoke loudly as they recovered the weapons of their dead foes. "Der be only one leader of Slobada and dat ain't me mon. Don't forget dat. You and I are loyal, unlike dem. Dey got what dey deserve, time ta save ya families and see dat any who turn ta banditry are brought to their knees! Today though, there will be no mercy for dem that harm Slobada!"

She mounts the wall and unleashes her bow on the zombies outside, using the dead bandits arrows instead of her thistle arrows if she must to clear a path...

If we can make our way out without fighting she will do so.

She unleashed four arrows from her bow, three of which pounded into Jex from a mere five paces away. The look of shock on his face didn't break the grim look on her face. "... ta hell. Let the devil sort ya lies mon." She looked to his companion. "Ya can join ya brother in hell now." She turned her bow on the other mercenary then, unleashing four more arrows, two of which were brutal strikes.

She looked to the farmers then, nodding to the other prisoners. "For ya knowingly plotting ta rape, kill and raid the lands of Slobada. I res'ind Lord Danath's command and sentence ya to death by the sword." It didn't make her flinch to kill these men while they sat bound, they deserved nothing more than a violent death for their crimes.

Shall I roll more? But yes, after realizing how damn foolish they were to sit on a bunch of rapist murdering thugs she is in fact executing the lot of them and leaving this ruin to go and help Danath and them.

Later - After the Execution's are done.

Each of the corpses are thrown from the back battlement where the dead stand idle. Let those dead men feast on those rapists, its the least they deserved. Once the corpses were dealt with she gathered Chimalma and Chi, along with the rest of the farmers. She looked to the dark eyed men as she spoke loudly. "Gather dem weapons and lets go. Ya families need ya and dey got what they deserve. Let no bandit live if dey threaten our lands. F&++ them before they f!#& us! Now lets go!" She shoulders the gear of the two merc's especially Maria's shield.

She was grim, they had lost a lot of time and would be struggling to catch up now...

She looks at him, her eyes filled with rage, realizing how useless her time was being in this burned out shell of a fortress.

Back at the burned fortress

Xi'Tir's hooded eyes rise as the twin roars echo loudly across the woods, roars that no beast in this land but her sister could make. She settles back on the balls of her feet as her and Chi continue to hold at the fortress the fires in the distance were wearing at her resolve and she wanted nothing more then to begin executing each of their prisoners in the worst possible way...

Then she got an idea. One that would make even a Bekyar squirm and she smiled.

"Bring dem forwa'd." She points at their newest prisoners, the mercs that had tried to kill her not even an hour ago and her smile was an unpleasant one. "Lets play a game mon, and dis is one ya might like." She knocks an arrow and fires it at the ground in front of the snitch, inches away from his manhood as he sits kneeling there below her redoubt. The darkskinned woman smiled savagely at them then as she spoke. "I ask ya questions and ya answer. If'n ya don't or ya lie I shoot ya. If ya smart off I let them beat ya, ya deserve it dontcha?" She smirks before her face becomes unreadable. "Now. Where's Dovan?" Her voice was empty of emotion as she nocked another arrow and pointed in their general direction.

True but regular Brawler is better, IMO. You can just go with a focus on grapple checks and come out ahead, althought I believe the strangulation stacks with your vive archetype sneak attacks. Right?

For you it would compliment you build but building a straight barbarian it was like a monk giving up Flurry for a single attack while grappling. Just a huge lose for a small gain. :/

Also playing a Magus/Alchemist Gestalt. So much fun! Lvl 1 and lucked out on the racial bonus. Exchanged tiefling 1/d spell casting for another +2 int, With Daemon bloodI start at 1st with 22 int and 7/d bombs for a min of 7 damage on a direct hit and for splash damage! Mwahahah Wotr, Wait until I get Holy Bombs!

Made a lizardfolk brawler (wild child) picked a Queztacautl as my animal companion. Not the most optimal choice but having a flying companion was just plain fun! But I second that Strangler seems cool but you lose to much for being able to just choke people when grappling.

Although having a +14 Grapple and CMD 28 (vs grapple) at lvl 4 was really nasty~

Seeing that they complied Xi lowers her bow and puts away the arrows before climbing back in her perch. She looks down at Tarina then. "If ya want ta go after dem den go. I can hold dis place. But..." She looks off in the distance, thinking she heard something on the wind before shaking her head. "Dey are a lot faster den me. You however may catch up to dem more quickly. Up to ya."

Xi is content to wait and hold her position in the ruined fort.

"Dat's not ya choice..." She levels her bow, arrow nocked at the recruits. She was completely fearless as she continued to speak. "... ta make. It's different if I hurt dem den you." She smiles her teeth forming a vicious look. "Or do ya want a soul as black as us eh? I know where I am bound in de end. But my end is not now, Mon. And no I can't see what dey done. Don't Care."

She nods at Jex. "If dat one had killed Maria I'd have fed him ta the corpses. But..."

She nocks a second arrow, displaying the skill that she had once more. "If ya hurt dem more are ya any better? What would ya families tink? Revenge? Stupid. Ya don't get whats lost 'n' dead back. And dem..." She nods to Ayles and Jex again. "Dey will face the laws, but to murder bound men is somet'ing I can't do and makes ya a honorless dog mon." She lowers the bow slightly as she nods over to the other prisoners. "Put dem with de others, now."

Xi'Tir's normal arrow hammers into Jex's shoulder before the farmers are able to surround and tie him up. "Dat was for Maria and a warning Mon. Cross us again and suffer."

Looking to the farmers she growls before waving for them to put Ayles and Jex near the barrier where the zombies were clawing. "No... Not today mon. Dat is Lord Danath's judgement. However, if'n dey have attacked ya den ya best tell da Lord and allow him to judge dem properly. Same goes for these cowards."

Xi's enjoyment ends as the recruits take Ayles captive, she lowers her bow and watches then. Uable to do more then hope they pressed her patience so that she could end them. Unlike the others she had no mercy for this filth. Sighing lightly she watched carefully for trouble...

Seeing the Prophet moving to engage only made Xi'Tir smile broadly, especially at teh surprised looks of the bandits. She looks at Jex then her smile never reaching her eyes. "Next shot and ya drop dat shield. Ms. Maria wants dat back Mon."

Ranged Disarm (Ex) (Mythic Adventures pg. 29 (Amazon)): You can use a ranged attack to disarm an opponent. Attempt a disarm combat maneuver check using your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier, and add your tier to the roll. Using this ability doesn't provoke attacks of opportunity. If your attack is successful, your target drops one item of your choice that it is carrying, even if the item is wielded with two hands. If your attack exceeds the CMD of the target by 10 or more, the target drops the items it is carrying in both hands (maximum two items if the target has more than two hands). Unlike with a melee disarm, failing the attack by 10 or more doesn't make you drop your weapon, and you can't automatically pick up the item dropped.

She planned on making their deaths spectacular! Especially after the humiliating defeat she suffered...

Xi'Tir wasn't concerned with this secret entrance as she knocked an arrow and leveled her bow at the bond prisoners. Her voice was hard and the accusation was apparent. "Did ya know of dis? Eh! Ya lyin' FILTH!" She doesn't wait for them to respond. "Watch dem, feed dem to the dead men if they tink ta try sometin'.".

She gets down from her perch, determined to find this damnable secret entrance and kill every piece of filth that dared to think they could catch them off guard.

Xi'Tir watched from her redoubt, dread building at the sight of so many flames. So many would die tonight and she wished she could be there. Dovan would die long and slow for what he'd done, hopefully by her hands...

She stands up and addresses those gathered still at the fort. For the first time she felt empathy for them...

She felt remorse for those who would undoubtedly lose loved ones tonight...

"Don't ya lose hope ya hear. Ya ken hate us for failin' ya, ya can hate da gods until the skies cry blood, ya ken hate Slobada. But dat don't won't change nothin! We need to win! For ya loved ones! To Show dem bastada's we can't be beaten and my Sista will make dem pay Ten Fold! She will burn dem all and send dem to the Boneyard in soul Urn's. You will have vengeance!"

She points her bow tip at the bound bandits. "In my country men like ya exist. Dey are terrible, hateful beasts and they take people and dey sell dem in flesh markets. I had no mercy for dem, nor do I for ya and because ya allowed this. Ya no better den Dovan. But dis be decided by Lord Danath when dey return and I hope dey bring Dovan."

"Keep dem on their knees in a circle until Danath returns. But ya DON'T hurt dem! Or we be no better den dem!" She planned on killing one of them for every one they killed. An eye for an Eye. These thugs deserved no less.

Yeah Xi'Tir, Chimalma and Chi will remain here. Too slow for what needs to be down. Danath has nearly double the move speed of a horse. Ni'Tir has doubled and perfect flight so she can fly over the trees and straight to the fight. :D

Xi'Tir chuckles from her dark perch, watching for more enemies as she listens to Danath speak. She liked this dark side, got things done. Quick. Simple. However his merciful speech made her frown in frustration until he demanded to know where Dovan was. THAT was something she wanted to know. Promised da General dat one's head. Not gonna fail her... No way. No how... She wished she could have added Dovan's ears to her lost necklace but maybe they would let her shrink it...

The hasty rain of arrows brought a few returned shots from Xi'Tir as she sat on her perch. Her arrows came up woefully short though and she was still angry that the cowards had ran away. She wanted to pursue them very, very badly.

Danath's order caused her to frown in disapproval, leaving her sister to be on her own didn't sit well with the ranger but she kept an arrow knocked and kept silent watch for their foes. She tried to stay low and hidden lest someone was watching the fort...

Xi having been awake Danath said that he was going to wake her up for second watch, correct me if I am wrong. by this time, reacts from her sniper perch. Cursing on how she missed their approach.

SA: Cast Gravity Bow

She grumbles at the cowards around her as she casts a spell to make her arrows more deadly. "Stand ya ground mon and take cover!" She looks down at the horsemen archers down below and smiles.

Xi'Tir looked at Danath like he was insane, that was until he mentioned her part and she smiled evilly. "Doven is mine ya ken Baron? Dat one dies dis I promised Seraph. But ya plan is simple mon." She still felt like they should have killed the bandit and attacked Dovan but part of her believed in Danath's plan. She followed Ni'Tir up the hill with Chi at her side and her Greatsword drawn and ready.

She casts Lead Blades to increase her damage potential.

She didn't draw one, only because her sister was watching, but if it works it WORKS! YAY! Err I mean. Blah your Diplomacy Danath. :P

Xi grumbles angrily as the man kneels before Danath. "Dem fancy pants words work for some dem I guess mon. I would h've got dem talking too mon..."

She slinks back off into the woods around them as she watches out for enemies and licks her wounds. Chi follows after her silently, sticking to the grasses to hide her presence...
