![]() Xander took the ring without hesitation, before sliding it on to the middle finger of his right hand. As an after thought, Xander pulled his MP3 player from his pocket and leaves it before the Dragon. "I might not be here to talk to you, I need to head on now, but I have this MP3 player you can have. It has all of the modern club mixes and a few original mixes on it too. Just tap the center lightly and it'll start playing!" He smiled up at the Dragon before bowing. "Thank you great Drake. You have been most helpful. Now I have two questions remaining. Do you know of a weakness to the Shadow? And when I leave you here, what direction do I take?" ![]()

![]() Can I get a breakdown of colours before me. I can move 4 directions including the way back, right? "Why the only way you can, by dragging it in to the light!" Xander pulls the glowing white knife from his belt and focuses on it, trying to make it flare a little brighter. "I'm trying to gain power, become stronger, BE the light I need to burn that shadow away. Think you can help me?" ![]()
Human
![]() "Well I am here to stop those Shadow beasts. A task with which I will accept any and all assistance with, just so you know!" Xander grinned as he stared around himself slowly. Diplomacy-1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19 "And I have no plans to attack you, my dear Drake, unless you decide to attack me. I do not mean to be your enemy. But it is my turn, so I will continue on my two squares and land on a red and safety. Ah but now it is your turn and you get to change the squares, do you not?" Xander moves on to the square he counted. ![]()

![]() Xander makes a motion towards the Dragon, indicating that he would wish to make his second move, before he begins to speak. "The Irish are a group of people who live in a place called Ireland. They are descendants of the Picts and the Celts originally but due to the warring of Nations also have Norse, Spanish and Teutonic blood. The word Irish also can be used when speaking about Drinking, Fighting or Boston. What is the Shadow that terrorizes the city above?" ![]()

![]() "Apollo doesn't fancy me like that, I would not look good in a dress, but I do like to spread his good name, so Bishop kinda fits! I move two spaces!" Xander grinned, strolling his two spaces forward to stop on a red square. "Must be awful lonely down here, for you to waste your time building a board like this. A great and powerful Dragon such as yourself would be better suited to a hilltop, surrounded by jewels, bedecked in the finest of gold and served by the most beautiful of maidens. What keeps you here oh mighty Drake?" Diplomacy-1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18 ![]()

![]() Xanders eye begins to twitch as he stares at the Dragon. "A f#%$ing Dragon...? A Dragon?! I don't even have armour, or a Lance. And I am not f&%!ing Welsh either..." He shook his head softly before taking a deep cleansing breath. "Maybe I can sneak around it..." Xander stopped for a second, pacing up and down along the area right beside the Chessboard style markings, before frowning and taking a step on to the square that would have put him on the Queen side Bishop spot. He braced himself and waited for something to happen. A Dragon?! Apollo have mercy on your most beautiful of worshipers! :-P ![]()

![]() "I hear you and I heed. I will make sure to fight and not fall to the shadow. Thank you for all of your help Gelma, I appreciate it!" Xander snapped off a smart bow, before turning and darting from the area, heading right, like the little girl had said. 'I will find this Shadow and I will slay it!" ![]()

![]() 'What have I got to lose...?' Xander nods and stands up, dropping his leather jacket, full of all of the contents of his pockets, on to the ground, before pulling off his boots and socks, and adding his shirt to the pile. Bare chested, wearing only his pair of torn jeans, Xander walks slowly in to the pond, till he can submerge himself completely, holding his breath. 'This better work...' ![]()

![]() Xander frowns softly, reaching in to his pocket for his tobacco and skins, and beginning to roll absentmindedly, as he speaks. "So it has been here for awhile... Is there anything that could have happened, down here, to drive it from this place to seek prey? Do you... do you know where it is and..." He looked up at the girl, frowning, as he lit the cigarette and took a slow deep draw, as his hand shook slightly. "Can you tell me how to beat it? Point me towards a weapon that will help me? I have little I can offer, but... if I can give you something or get you something, I will gladly!" ![]()

![]() Xander takes a seat, legs crossed, beside the pond, shaking his head softly. "I am not quite thirsty yet, maybe before I leave, it will be all the sweeter then. But thank you Gelma, and you too Tilk. My name is Xander, it is a pleasure to meet you both!" Sense Motive-1d20 + 0 ⇒ (18) + 0 = 18 "Tell me Gelma, do you know anything about the world above? You see... The city is under attack, from someone or something, he is killing people and leaving behind a number painted beside the body, in blood. I traced that killer down here and so I hunt. Do you know anything that could be causing this? Anyone I should speak to?" ![]()
Human
![]() "Maybe... This is good. Okay. I will go and come back. I need a better weapon!" Xander begins to climb the ladder before pausing. "No. This could all change... I could end up not being able to come back. No. Let's end this!" dropping back lightly to the ground, he turns and begins to set off deeper in to the labyrinth, flipping the knife in to a downward, knife fighters grip. ![]()

![]() Xander lies there for a second, laughing wildly, before climbing to his feet. He looks around for a minute, before shaking his head, and beginning to recite, quietly under his breath, the beginning of a poem he learned as a young boy. "All in the golden afternoon

![]() Xander pondered the coin for a moment, before shrugging and picking it up. He had thought about leaving it as a marker, but if he got lost, he had a feeling he would not make it back out again anyway. He thought of the fact he had no food or water and cringed, but bulled ahead, continuing on his chosen path. Steeling himself against the confusion and horror he was feeling at the sight of the tree, he pushed his way through. But of course! ![]()

![]() Xander stood at the intersection, bouncing a coin up and down on his palm and frowning. Three directions and no idea where he was going or what he was looking for... Shrugging, he dropped the coin on the ground behind him and took a step in to the center of the intersection. He closed his eyes and span around slowly till he had lost all sense of direction then stopped and flung out his arm, pointing down the way he would go. Totally random decision, gonna leave it up to you MN. The coin marks the way he came and he will choose another direction if he lands on it. ![]()

![]() Xander stares out over the ruins below him and whistles softly through his teeth, before fumbling in his pocket for his tobacco. He rolled up a cigarette and took a seat on the edge of the path, hunching in on himself to hide the flame as he struck his zippo to life and lit his smoker. "Where the f!&~ are you leading me Tris...?" He stuck the cigarette between his teeth, before pulling his phone out of his pocket. He clicked it to silent, before he started to take some pictures of the vista before him. When he was done, he returned his phone to his pocket, and reached down to check on the knife in his boot. Finding it still in its sheath, he nodded softly, before getting to his feet. "I'll find this bastard or die trying... Lets hope that is just me being dramatic." He steeled himself, before continuing on. ![]()

![]() That is greatly appreciated. Xander took a seat at the edge of the manhole and sighed, as be began to rifle through his leather jacket for his lighter. He came to the inside pocket and frowned, patting the pocket in confusion. 'What the...?' He reached in to the pocket and pulled out a torch, a sudden look or realization dawning on his place. "Riiiiight.... For that rave the other week. I needed it to check out hat busted fuse. Huh... Handy!" He forgot the lighter and the cigarette for the moment, and began to climb down in to the sewers below. "Apollo grant me some f#in luck would ya?" ![]()

![]() Perception-1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19 Xander stared at the crime scene for a moment, and really tried to focus. He let loose that part inside him that was not all law abiding and a good upstanding citizen, and tried to look at the scene from the point of view of a criminal. I dunno if this will help but Xander is going to think about each Crime Scene, from the point of view of someone intending to commit the crime. ![]() Xander slipped out of the booth and headed back up in to the alley to collect his bike. He kicked the bike to life, fitted his helmet, and set off for the bowling alley. As he rode, he focused on the task at hand. He had a killer to find and a friend to avenge. He was sure there were other people searching for this guy, maybe he should think about finding out the names of the victims and trying to find their families, see what was up. He'd need to find someone working the case to give him that information but... One thing at a time.
