Hey guys and gals i decided to roll up an Alchemist and grab up a bow but I'm not really sure where to go with it. Do i take Alchemist all the way to 20? Or are there any good dip options for me since i am using a bow as my back up or primary in some cases? any constructive criticism and suggests are welcomed so speak up!!!

STR 12, Dex 18, Con 10, Int 22, Wis 10, Cha 10 Are my stats.

Alrighty, Thanks all much appreciated!

Do i get to Stack that +10 to attack on my Bab and Str Mod?

Hey all, Working on my 2nd D&D character and decided to roll up a druid that's focused on being in wild shape. It's proven to be complicated so far but i think I'm starting to understand how everything works, But this is what threw me for a loop "Melee 2 claws +10" I'm looking into Dire Tiger and i seen that before the actual (1d8+6 plus grab). Could someone explain to me what it means and if it actually effects any of my rolls?

Why alchemist prior to Arcane Archer?

What're you trying ot get from it?

There isn't much syngergy between them all. Arcane archer is more about shooting spells (higher level up arcane archer) so you wouldn't have much at all from that. Or did you just want a bow alchemist, with a little buff for your arrows?

Pretty Much this, I figure i will get to a point where the bombs are no longer going to cut it. So i will be able to buff up my arrows and still do good/decent damage. With Focused shot feat i get my Int mod + my Dex mod so I'm going to be doing respectable damage. (hopefully)

Oh man, you are going in the wrong direction here.

If you're look to combine arrows with bombs (without killing your ranged attack routine with Explosive Missile), pick up a Conductive bow so you can burn off bombs on arrows, which only activate on a hit. Cost 2 bombs to do but the reliability is worth it.

Consider going Grenadier too to add more bang to your arrows, especially with a Hybridization Funnel. There's a bit about it in my Alchemy guide, but as you've already picked up on, Alchemist make great archers.

Hm, Sounds like a good idea i might look into it, may i have a link to your guide?

Bump

Hello everyone, I'm currently thinking about taking my Alchemist and eventually making him into an Arcane Archer. I figure that i would take about 9 levels Alchemist, 1 level Wizard (go for utility spells) and then my last 10 levels into an Arcane Archer. This is my Second D&D character i have created and I'm wanting to go outside of my comfort zone and play something. 'Different' But i still want to maintain combat effectiveness.
Any advice, opinions or constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.
