Due to some changes in schedule and habits, I'm going to have to withdraw from this game. I'm just not on this site as often as I used to be. On the bright side, I'm spending more time on my second book.
I was just getting into the party dynamic, but there's no way I can maintain a Pathfinder character with how rarely I'm on a desktop computer with open internet access. I'm also sorry this has come so suddenly, and after a long gap in contact.

Wocket walks right past Silarsha unloading equipment and approaches the cardinal's seat of power. She bows, nose touching the carpet, then waits for the others to join her before presenting the silver pendant. "The requested token, Master."

While the others rearrange their equipment and search through more rooms, Wocket remembers to check the necklace for authenticity, taking her time to be sure this time that this one is made of silver and sapphire.

Wocket is happy enough carrying the pendant.
She considers how best to insult the iconography without damaging their prize, and decides to wrap it in some cloth to shield it from the light.

I was just trying to get it out of the room. Even if the enemy follows, it lets us reassess our approach without an enemy attacking from the darkness. If the enemy doesn't follow, we've got it exposed.
If I just wanted to damage it, I could try to hit it with an attack spell, but I wasn't sure how much damage it could take, or if it would resist certain energies. Personal experience suggests destroying items is a huge pain in Pathfinder. Removing it from the area seemed like a creative solution.

The noises didn't sound good, and Talia is already shouting about a monster in the dark. The stone is right there someone just needs to smash it! Or... at least get it out of the room. Wocket closes her eyes and focuses on the location of the stone, leaving her hand extended as she lets go of the Detect Magic spell. Then, having only discovered the technique the day before, the gnome begins to manifest another spell. "Telestatic grip!"
Pulling her hand back as if pulling a heavy iron chain, Wocket pulls the stone toward her and toward the door.
Standard action to cast Mage Hand, move action to drag it 15 feet toward the door. I figure it may be best to keep a hold on the stone rather than risk having to waste a round finding it again. Here's hoping the monster doesn't immediately attack Wocket.

She crosses the room to watch Talia sniff around the lantern. "S'got oil in it? We could just douse the door and light it. I haven't figured out fire, but I've got plenty of sparks." Wocket performs a smile, and doesn't realize how condescending she sounds.

Something seems to occur to the gnome, and she jogs back to the stairs where they entered and peers up, holding out her hand again. "Whither; Whence; Where."
