William, who had enjoyed Celia's offering - not to mention all the other edible plants he encountered during the walk to the city - edges closer to Valai, his nostrils flaring with alarm. For all that he has become considerably rounder during the trip, the goat is clearly ready to beat feet. All four of them. Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 3. Survival: 1d20 ⇒ 15.

William Goat trots over to the nearest plantlife and sniffs it, almost daintily. (Survival to find food: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12.) Having done all that he can to ascertain the nature of this new and strange greenery... William proceeds to eat it, his jaws chomping stoicically away.

"Brushing and feeding are better," William replies, running to keep up with Celia -- but conspicuously not passing her at any point. In fact, the goat deliberately lets the small priestess get ahead of him when they approach the hold.

"Yes! She sends me!" William replies in fluent Goat. "You come! Big stink! You come now! I eat your sleeve!" William reacts with affront to being bitten; he leaps behind Celia, rises on his hindlegs and headbutts her in the caboose. This is not a proper attack, more the sort of thing a goat might do to knock over an unsuspecting milkmaid -- or, of course, to motivate a Gnome to start walking.
