"We have no interest in ransacking the warehouse; as we said, we seek only to disrupt the Aspis' drug trade. You are a welcome to verify that we have not stolen your goods, if you like; we have moved a few crates around, but we would be happy to put them back afterward."

Well, so far, we are up to a 23. Anyone else able to assist? :-)

"Well, we can show you his notes (which, unfortunately, and encoded), and as we said, you can go speak with the addicts, if you want to. If necessary, once this little problem is sorted, you can interrogate the Leper as well."

Wilhelm nods.

"As my colleague says, when we raided the Leper's lair, we found a bunch of poor addicts that he had been using... we have him under lock and key, and sent the addicts to the Church of Sarenrae, where they will be able to get the care they need."

That's one :-) I'll take all the assists that I can get!

Wilhelm shrugs.

"Well, quite simply, we are attempting to dismantle the Aspis Consortium drug trade; we have already uncovered their distribution model, and have acquired both their supplier, and his protocols. Quite frankly, I would have thought that you wouldn't have been in favour of using locals as test subjects, but if I am wrong, feel free to disabuse me of that notion. Look, we don't want this to end in blood shed between us, but if you insist, we will defend ourselves."

I am happy with blocking the main entrances, and the secret doors. By leaving one major access point (apart from the skylights, which I am sure *someone* will come through), we can funnel our foes. That said, we were told to try and *talk* with one group, so let's see if we can do that. Diplomats, front and center! ;-)

"Well, if you have some time, Miriel, we found this notebook on the Whip-maker; I don't suppose you are any good at cryptology...?"

Wilhelm then sets about blocking the secret doors with large piles of crates (hopefully making them impassable), and making sure both sets of double doors are thoroughly barred, before casting a thoughtful eye over the bear trap, and the guard dog.

"Anyone think that they can control the dog? It could be useful in a fight..."

In then moves to the single door into the main warehouse.

"I think that we could put the bear-trap here (just inside the door), and use this as a choke-point to funnel the Aspis in."

"Agreed. It would be foolish not to go, but it would be equally foolish to *not* be on our guard..."

Wilhelm places the sheaf of papers in his backpack, carefully closes the door, and then stealthily attempts to leave the ship.

He then nods.

He then gestures at the flea-infested bedroll with a wink to Meredith.

A tall, sparsely-muscled half-elf, wearing well worn leathers and with a longbow made of a strange, dark wood across his back, approaches the gathering, giving every impression of being a competent woodsman who rarely spends time amidst polite society.

"G'day. The name's Wilhelm. Let's see what fine mess we are being sent off into today..."

Incongruously, he pulls out a delicate pair of spectacles in order to read the notes, before looking thoughtfully at the rest of the assembled group.

"If guile and honeyed words is not our forte, perhaps we should concentrate on tasks two and three...?"
