Background:

Wentz's older sister died when he was nine from a fever the local apothecary couldn't control. Still grieving, Wentz withdrew, became sullen, and spent every waking hour at her grave. Or at least that's what his family thought. What they didn't realize is that Wentz was still able to feel her presence. By channeling his lamentations and grief into his music, Wentz discovered that he was still able to communicate with his sister. What he saw as preserving his family connection inadvertently created haunting yet mesmerizing requiems that caught the attention of a professor at the University of Lepidstadt(not Lorrimor). Not convinced of the structure of academia, Wentz did move to Lepidstadt to immerse himself in university culture: performing at bars and inns, engaging in philosophical discussions, and occasionally submitting new pieces for publication.

Wentz first met Professor Lorrimor at the cemetery. It was evening and Wentz was at one of his usual haunts; atop a granite mausoleum of some minor noble, in solitude, transcribing the melodies in his head to paper. The Professor was out doing research and quickly became surrounded by a roving pack of undead. Wentz heard the commotion and went to investigate, where upon he was able to use his music to lull the ghouls while the Professor made his escape.

Description:

Quirk 1: doesn't care what others think, which can come off as being aloof at times.
Quirk 2: is obsessed with Absinthe and Absinthe culture. Greenway Distillers is one of his favorites.

Hair: Greasy black with a streak of lime green. Feathered bangs obscure his right eye.
Clothes: Wentz wears a black leather jacket with padding over the shoulders and metal studs down the sides, which covers a white shirt that drapes over the top of his black leather pants.

Traits:

Chance Savior: Fate smiled on you and Professor Lorrimor one day in the not so distant past. Through a matter of pure chance, you were in a position to save the late scholar’s life and did so. His gratitude was effusive, and he promised that he would never forget you. You are unsure of the nature of the summons in his will, but believe he may have listed you as a possible heir in thanks for saving him from an untimely demise.

Your ability to think quickly on your feet has stayed with you, and you quite often feel that you’re in the right place at the right time. You gain a +2 trait bonus on Initiative checks.

Dangerously Curious: You have always been intrigued by magic, possibly because you were the child of a magician or priest. You often snuck into your parent's laboratory or shrine to tinker with spell components and magic devices, and often caused quite a bit of damage and headaches for your parent as a result. You gain a +1 trait bonus on Use Magic Device checks, and Use Magic Device is always a class skill for you.
