Wenton frowns and takes a moment to cast lesser evolution surge on Mortiferix, granting him the level 1 evolution swim.

"Drakes? Sure, what could possibly go wrong? ...we're gonna die in a drake's stomach aren't we?" Wenton mutters, feeling the hangover starting full blast.

Wenton's eyes widen as he watches the drinking. "Hmm, when in Lily White... I'll drink!" His eidolon seems to roll his eyes... if he had eyes. Can eye sockets roll? Apparently they can.

"Well, I guess if we're in Lilywhite, do as the Lily White People do?" Wenton shrugs and heads toward the nice drunken man, while his monstrous companion sighs deeply and trots after him on lion's paws.

"Um, Snake Guy? Are you bringing that... thing on the boat? Because I mean, giant snakes are usually things we have to kill or get killed by and I don't really want to wake up half-eaten by your friend there, if you understand what I mean." the timid looking man sighs. "Did you know that 47% of all Pathfinder agents die to natural causes? I mean, if you consider falling and disease and wild animals and being slowly devoured over the course of 17 years by a thing with a mouth like a pit? Statistically speaking, we're likely to die on this trip. And dying? Not fun. It's actually a lot of bureaucracy. A LOT." He sighs. "I'm Wenton. It'll be nice dying with you."

What be Yar name? "Wenton. The psychopomp's name is Mortiferix. I died, you see, in Bonekeep. Helluva place to die, right? But they brought me back, well, a seeker brought me, as part of his conditional Venture Captaincy. Weird old bugger was walking around with my skull on his shoulder. Yeah, creeped me out, too. So they made him bring me back. Problem was, when I came back, I brought Mortiferix with me. He's like my guide or guard or somethin'. It's okay. I mean, have you see what the Society puts people through? I'm bound to die soon. It's practically guaranteed. Until then, I have a furry friend with the head of an alligator skull and the body of a lion. Hooray?"
What be Yar Quest? "Um, not to die? I mean, I'm sure it's great fun to be dead, don't remember, but I'm aiming for not dying."
What be Yar ideal ship? "The dry kind? On land? Where nothing can get you? Wait, is this mission ON THE OCEAN?!? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MANY THINGS ARE LURKING BELOW YOU TO EAT YOU THERE?!?"
What be Yar ideal position on that ship? "ON LAND! Seriously, please don't make me go, I really don't enjoy drowning. I mean, I never have drowned before, but I imagine it's not somehting I want to do. I mean, send that guy. He looks like he's lived a good life. Or that woman. The one with the angry eyes. I mean she already hates life, so she's halfway there."

Wenton is an unchained summoner with an esobok psychopomp. His preferred place would be as a navigator or something smarts-related.

The God's Market Gamble sounds lovely to me!

Player: JamesMartin
Character: Wenton Twiceborn
Class: Unchained Summoner 1
PFS# 1904-23
Day job: None
Faction: Grand Lodge

Wenton died in a very famous dungeon. Then his skull was carried around by an insane man for years until the crazy man was forced to raise the poor dead Pathfinder Wenton from the dead by the Decemvirate, as a condition of being named a Venture Captain. So Wenton came back to life, but now he's got an esobok psychopomp guarding him, because he's not going to get away from death again. As a result he's a bit of a coward, prone to whining about the many ways every mission could end in blood and tears.
