Sorry about this. Happens too frequently. Posting so I can hide this.

Human 36/36hp CMD=13 AC19/t11/ff18 F+3/R +3/W+6 Oracle 5 perception +1 / init+1

Yes, the original recruitment mentioned going for a daily posting rate.

In my experience slow games are hard to pull off, but there may be those that like a 1-2 weekly posting rate.

Human 36/36hp CMD=13 AC19/t11/ff18 F+3/R +3/W+6 Oracle 5 perception +1 / init+1

I will follow suit as we are at a lull--we are on a weekly rate, which is hard to keep focus for me.

Real life takes a toll on us all, and we have all been there. I really liked the mythic touch. Best of luck!

Warren summons another group of 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 dolphins and sends the whole pack after the creature. Hopefully to bring it back unconscious but alive.

Warren grabs his holy symbol and begins walking on the water and following the speedy dolphins at a distance upriver. He calls to his capable friends, "I don't think we can watch these people all the time. This sounds like a common problem."

Human 36/36hp CMD=13 AC19/t11/ff18 F+3/R +3/W+6 Oracle 5 perception +1 / init+1

No problem. Is the plan to end the encounter and put us out of combat??

They actually do stack, bless is a morale bonus on saves and attack and inspire courage is a competence bonus on attack and damage and a morale bonus on saves on fear and charms.

So it looks like the combo should provide +3 attack, +2 damage, and +1 to saves (+2 if fear or charm).

Human 36/36hp CMD=13 AC19/t11/ff18 F+3/R +3/W+6 Oracle 5 perception +1 / init+1

Turns out inspire and bless don't stack, so dolphins 1-6 are -1 to hit and damage from rolled above. I am rusty and relearned that fact this weekend as bless and inspire are common 1 level buffs.

Warren realized with a facepalm that Lady Maurine's inspiration made his bless somewhat ineffective.
We better not Besmara find this out, wait she is a goddess, she may know anyway.

Human 36/36hp CMD=13 AC19/t11/ff18 F+3/R +3/W+6 Oracle 5 perception +1 / init+1

The Dolphins had odd con values, so D1 couldnt attack last turn and D10 at 2hp was in a save or die situation.

I am assuming we are not doing three dimensions, so for ease of map play one token per square including above and below.

Human 36/36hp CMD=13 AC19/t11/ff18 F+3/R +3/W+6 Oracle 5 perception +1 / init+1

dolphin save or die: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
The attacked dolphin succumbs to the poison, bringing the dolphins knocked out or dead total to 4. D1,2,4,10 gone
Summons: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
3 more dolphins appear at Warren's command, the six surrounding the dolphin continue to bite.
D3bite: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 241d4 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
D5bite: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 131d4 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
D6bite: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 271d4 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

D9bite: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 171d4 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
After a graceful '5 foot flipper back' the others will attempt to join in.
Only resolve these if the dolphins groups can coordinate or take direction from Warren.
D11bite: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 151d4 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
D12bite: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 191d4 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
D13bite: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 101d4 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Warren's dolphins had come up with an agreement with the two fighters in the water to share the limited attack room and kept six around the creature at all time.

Bless fills your allies with courage. Each ally gains a +1 morale bonus on attack rolls and on saving throws against fear effects.

number: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 Warren completed his ritual, and the water churned as four dolphins found themselves in the waters near the threat and Warren directs them to threat. They assume the creature is evil and smite the threat. They swim in a graceful 80 foot arc to surround the creature and attack.

The dolpins use a sophisticated echo system to locate their foe. I rolled conceal if it applies.

blindsight:
Blindsight
Some creatures possess blindsight, the extraordinary ability to use a non-visual sense (or a combination senses) to operate effectively without vision. Such senses may include sensitivity to vibrations, acute scent, keen hearing, or echolocation. This makes invisibility and concealment (even magical darkness) irrelevant to the creature (though it still can’t see ethereal creatures). This ability operates out to a range specified in the creature description.

Blindsight never allows a creature to distinguish color or visual contrast. A creature cannot read with blindsight.
Blindsight does not subject a creature to gaze attacks (even though darkvision does).
Blinding attacks do not penalize creatures that use blindsight.
Deafening attacks thwart blindsight if it relies on hearing.
Blindsight works underwater but not in a vacuum.
Blindsight negates displacement and blur effects.

VitM: The augury ion stone is thematic to an oracle. I have no problem if it is mildly useful with some RP flavor. Warren sees this as direct interaction with Besmara. Maybe it is like a once per day "Spidey Sense" for those Spiderman fans.

Human 36/36hp CMD=13 AC19/t11/ff18 F+3/R +3/W+6 Oracle 5 perception +1 / init+1

As they approach the beach, Warren spins a magic stone around his head and consults Besmara as his eyes glaze over. "Is joining this game something good or bad?"

augury:
An augury can tell you whether a particular action will bring good or bad results for you in the immediate future.

Auto Sucess. If the augury succeeds, you get one of four results:

Weal (if the action will probably bring good results).
Woe (for bad results).
Weal and woe (for both).
Nothing (for actions that don’t have especially good or bad results).
If the spell fails, you get the “nothing” result. A cleric who gets the “nothing” result has no way to tell whether it was the consequence of a failed or successful augury.

The augury can see into the future only about half an hour, so anything that might happen after that does not affect the result. Thus, the result might not take into account the long-term consequences of a contemplated action. All auguries cast by the same person about the same topic use the same die result as the first casting.

Ardym, let's play!! Bring Rob."

Warren tells the captain about the game, but finds out he already was invited. "I will keep making friends in town to get us more crew. Tell me when we have enough, but you know, there will be boarding actions."

Warren suddenly realizes again that others are not as excited about Besmara as he is. He looks surprised and sad "Sorry, I will not try to convert you. But I have found that believing in something is usually better than believing in nothing. I will try to see if I can convert the crew to the Queen, and encourage you add you beliefs to their experience. And, although my faith is strong, I always welcome other viewpoints about the divine."

Warren may have said he was open minded, he may think he is open minded, but you have dealt with fanatics before, and you doubt he can be convinced. He has drank the grog, as the pirates would say.

Warren extends his hands, though they appear to be burned like a piece of paper and very fragile, he smiles and shakes his new captain's hand with enthusiasm.

"I connect through the waves and water with Besmara, where as before I tamed fiery powers within my own nature. She allows me to walk on and manipulate water, and I summon creatures that seem to please her. It appears she loves those who take chances and turn to the sea, so I was able to survive a burning wreck and return to her. Fortune now favors me and I can curse our enemies with bouts of misfortune."

He whispers conspiratorially "Grab a piece of any ship, and Besmara will let me unerringly track it."

Human 36/36hp CMD=13 AC19/t11/ff18 F+3/R +3/W+6 Oracle 5 perception +1 / init+1

Warren is glad to be included "Aye Captain, I'll say it looks like we accompany you on some well-deserved shore leave. Maybe we can increase the ranks of the crew with some of the faithful and increase the Queen's favor at the same time?"

Grabbing any spell off the entire spell list and casting it at two levels above CL, yes I see how it is banned.

Can I do recalled blessing, lets me roll twice for the divine spell results? Recalled Blessing (Su)
You can expend one use of mythic power to cast any one divine spell without expending a prepared spell or spell slot. If you prepare spells, this spell must be one you prepared today; if you’re a spontaneous caster, this spell must be one of your spells known. You can’t apply metamagic feats to this spell. If the spell requires a saving throw, non-mythic creatures roll twice and take the lower result. If the spell heals damage or requires you to attempt a caster level check to cure an affliction or remove a condition, roll twice and take the higher result

And seems mythic spellcasting is required to get mythic spells, so will probably put that ahead of mighty summons

And I think Master of Arms is a martial position that may be of interest to Ardym. I am hoping to sell chaplain as a full time officer position.

Human 36/36hp CMD=13 AC19/t11/ff18 F+3/R +3/W+6 Oracle 5 perception +1 / init+1

Proposed Mythic Progression
Hierophant with ...

Divine Surge = Inspired Spell
You can expend one use of mythic power to cast any one divine spell, treating your caster level as 2 levels higher. This spell must be on your divine spell list (or your domain or mystery spell list) and must be of a spell level that you can cast using that divine spellcasting class. If you are a spontaneous spellcaster, you don’t need to have the spell prepared, nor does it need to be on your list of spells known. Using this ability does not expend a prepared spell or available spell slot. You can apply any metamagic feats you know to this spell, but its total spell slot level must be a slot level you can normally cast.

Path Ability = Mighty Summons (Su)
Each creature you conjure with any summon spell gains DR 5/epic for the duration of the summoning. If you cast a summon spell to summon more than one creature, you summon one additional creature of the same type. If you cast a summon spell to summon just one creature, you can expend one use of mythic power to give it the agile or savage mythic simple template for the duration of the summoning.

"I believe I escaped drowning by the aid of the Queen herself. I do not know if you have room for a chaplain, but I can also heal with the help of Besmara herself. I would encourage you to save a share for the Queen, for being infused with her favor yields unimaginable rewards."

Warren appears to go into a short reverie, and his eyes take on a fanatical light.

"Ship seems to be a little light on crew -- may be hiring."

He moves his pipe to his left hand to stick out his right hand to the Undine and he smiles with a mischievous wink. "Warren -- blackened but not burned". His hand looks paper thin and blackened like burnt paper. He looks him up and down approvingly: "I guess we are both ready to sail."

Warren tosses an ellipsoid stone which begins to orbit around his head and performs a one minute ritual of some sort. He whispers a short question to the skies and nods as if answered.

He then smiles as he addresses the landing party when it arrives ”I think I am destined to be on that ship.” in a convincing, matter of fact tone.

The young "ginger" stands watching at the dock as the ship docks after carefully walking to the docks. He squints, frowns, and seems to be looking at the ship in the distance as if it is a puzzle he is trying to figure out. His hands seemed charred and burned with the skin barely holding together as he cradles the mug he clipped out of the tavern and takes a sip.

A wooden holy symbol of Besmara seems to be the only jewelry this man is wearing in a port filled with people gaudily adorned. He is wearing a breastplate that seems recently crafted and allows more freedom of movement than the standard issue.

After carefully stepping onto the water's surface and walking 50 feet towards the ship in the distance, Warren carefully counted the deckhands on the ship in the distance working the main deck and up in the sails he smiles. He walks back to the dock and takes a big swig of his mug.

Warren will be summoner / healing / water mobility specialized as an oracle. He will try to never use his light crossbow or morningstar.

He will summon his water friends first and will spend all feats on the summon chain. Any chance partially charged wands are available, would love to have bless/shield of faith wands with a few charges?

Next best in value is when we have downtime do we have a scroll scriber? scribe scroll is pretty useful given our monetary situation. Cost of scribing own scrolls is about equal to wand charges but costs a feat.

Hey, Warren will probably go Wave Oracle unless you want him arcane.

I am happy to join this crew. Will have character ready soon.

Need a quartermaster? Warren will help keep the crew motivated.
