"While I agree in principal with the desire to eliminate the greyskins we must think of long term ramifications. First, we don't know how many are down there and how organized they are. The fact that they had organized lookouts leads me to believe they might have at least semi-competent leadership. We might find ourselves descending into a hornets nest. Second, if we don't come out alive there will be nobody to carry word back to civilization of our demise and the possible uprising of the ghouls". The big Trollkin then stands and begins to pace. "If your Griffon would allow such, I might suggest we assign the very important task of messenger to our young squire here. He could send a note back to describe the situation, and be prepared to defend the village if we are unsuccessful". He then joins the others as they head onward. ![]() Vrindel was in a daze. He was overwhelmed by everything. He already had a strong connection with the Fey, but this direct exposure threatened to claim his soul. Finally he began to notice those around him, and come about a bit. Though everything still seemed obscenely colorful, and loud, and the aromas and flavors of the offered food seemed to be almost too much, he was slowly learning to deal with it. He had always considered his connection to the fey to be a blessing, but now he wondered. He was only able to keep down the offered water, as he know better than to accept the food offered by the fey. Then he got the elixir and the note. It was enough to rouse him from his troubled dream state. He heard voices in the distance and wondered off to find Trevor and Ibrox chatting. "How long has it been? How long have we been here? I think we should leave with all haste. Remember how time is distorted in the fey realms. I know for myself I am much happier serving as a medium between the realm of the Fey and the mortal world, than I am being a part of it. I shall always have a connections but that is enough". He places the note and elixir on a shelf. "I say we find Aterro and get out of here... with grace... don't want to make enemies of those we've so recently made friends". ![]()

![]() Hi Guys. Sorry Vrindel hasn't reacted lately. New job, and moving into a new office has sapped most of my free time. Hope to get caught up before the weekend is over, and resume life as normal... well at least COVID normal next week. ![]()

![]() 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9 Survival Vrindel seems a bit unsure, but Arterro's observations confirm his suspicions. "The fey works in mysterious ways. Unless I miss my guess time passes much more quickly here than it did where we were. We have missed a great deal of time". He then turns to the rescued Dryad "I'm not sure what noise that you hear. I hear nothing untoward. I believe I have met your sister, and hopefully we were able to free her as well from this terrible dilemma. I must ask you however. Does the name Scramax mean anything to you?". As Vrindel waits for answers to his questions, he approaches Ibrox. "I'm not sure that I have magic strong enough to help you, but I'll try". Vrindel casts Lessor Restoration on his friend. ![]()

![]() "Unless Ibrox can come to his senses and help a bit, we're going to have to tie him own. Your going to need your hands to climb". Vrindel hurries to the willow, and casts [i]Spider climb, first on Trevor, then on Aterro... "Go"! Shouts the druid as he finishes each spell. He then takes the form of his favorite Giant Wolf Spider, and starts up the shaft after the remainder of the group. ![]()
