That last fight pretty much contained Mike and my faction mission. Not sure what we needed to collect to prove that the Talden scum were interfering in the trade routes.

Trick up my sleeve? HA!!! I'm a wizard with 2 transmutation buff spells left. I'm going to have to full retreat and hope for a bit of genie protection or else I'm going to die.

I guess I'll just move and hope at this point.

I'll move to flank, keeping my bow in my left hand and drawing my rapier into my right.

Picture the arrow takes flight, then the Elf takes off after it, hoping that it lands true in the chest of the hobgoblin. Waiting just long enough for him to fall, or not, he races by, drawing his rapier, then rolls through a tumble to take up a stabbing position just behind the other hobgoblin.

Seeing things get dire, Vortwyin takes a quick look between his previous target, Gaspar, and the hobgoblin closing in on him.

Having no real idea as to how hurt Gaspar is, but seeing that the hobgoblin is relatively wounded, he turns and fires off an arrow, hoping to drop the new target and clear a path to move.

Let me know if that drops Hobgoblin 1 so that I can move.

Vortwn takes a 5 ft. step back, knocks his bow, and lets fly at Gaspar.

As my standard action, I am going to prepare to cast Burning Disarm when Gaspar goes to attack someone and is within range of my spell (30ft.)

Burning Disarm: Ref. DC 16 to negate (wielder drops the weapon on a successful save). If save fails, Damage = 2d4 ⇒ (2, 4) = 6 fire damage.

With Bahiti down, we really need to do something. Sorry for this Bahiti.

Vortwyn grabs hold of his bow and then begins to cast. He pulls some sand from his spell component pouch, finished the incant, and then blows the sand over poor Bahiti and the three Hobgoblins around her.

Color Spray: Unconscious, Blinded, and Stunned 2d4 ⇒ (4, 2) = 6, Blinded and Stunned 1d4 ⇒ 4, Stunned 1 round (assuming 2 HD or less). DC 15 Will save to negate.

Then Vortwyn moves away.

Prepares to take a shot if the other harpy gets within 30 feet of me.

Vortwyn steadies himself on a ledge and takes aim at the harpie going after the camels (i.e. the daughter).

I'm going to need quite a bit. Even with 2 days of healing, that is only 4 HP back, or 8 if people make the Heal check. I'll still need about 3 charges off a want to be about full.

Before anyone goes, Vortwyn just took 20 damage. He falls over on the ground barely clinging to life.

Vortwyn pulls out his rapier and strikes out at Goblin 9.

Somehow you managed to re-adjust the order and skipped my action from right before Ben-Garri made that last attack. Anyway...

Seems my dear Paracountess has turned to the Shadow Lodge for a bit of aid in this matter. Doesn't seem to trust her Chelaxian agants all that much. Well, no matter. I'll be glad for the help in ferreting this out. Not necessarily the best as finding things, unless it's knowledge, or a good spell.

Going to be right up front about this so we don't have any trouble. Seems some Qadiran caravans have been having some trouble along the Silken Way route we'll be taking. People want me to investigate what is going on, bring back evidence of who is behind the trouble, and put an end to it if possible.

After last night's game, leveled to 2. Updated stats. My poor health took a downgrade for some extra skill points. Let's hope those 2 HP don't make a huge difference.

Sitting in wait for the others to arrive is a rather plain looking elven figure. His dark hair and red eyes a contrast to what one normally pictures for an elf. He appears to have very few possessions, with but a simple backpack, waterskin, a bow with some arrows, and a rapier. He passes the time reading a book.
