Now this is the kind of chaos I can get behind.

My only suggestion is: more nihilism, less existentialism.

I'm really concerned at how, about 3/4s the persons posting in this thread are all aliases of a certain individual.

Including "Herr Doktor"...

I know! I was just thinking the same thing!!

W00T! Crimson Jester wins by default, as the only candidate! Now the Thieves Guild rules officialy, and not just from the shadows.

Oh yeah, this election was rigged.

Are you troubled about zomething my furry friend? I zink you must examine your own neuroses before projeckting your fears upon ze man who is trying to help you. I am merely a catalyst, a guide if you will. You must be ze one who changes yourself.

Yeah! What he said...

A little late...

So:
Have you elected one of your number yet to serve us? The Runelord of Greed has been eagerly expecting a 'volunteer', and the Runelord of Gluttony was looking forward to picking up the pieces afterwards?
Did someone post that Crimson Jester had been 'volunteered' for the post, by his thieves' guild associates? [irony]No treacherous, back-stabbing, ambitious underlings there, then. [/irony

CRIMSON JESTER IS THE OFFICIAL FAKE PRESIDENT OF PAIZO MESSAGEBOARDS!

And perhaps you're his vice president, hmmm? The Runelord of Sloth was looking for someone equally expendable, too, I gather?

Who dares interrupt my relationship with myself to suggest my involvement in such a tragic waste of my time?

The Dretch, Joey, has pushed forward Crimson Jester, to work for us, and volunteered (unintentionally) himself as well.

Late for what? Work?

It has been a long time since we had any such volunteers to try out our arcane arts upon.....

Yes, well. I would not diminish myself to speak for the others, but I always approve of more servants. Now if you'll excuse me, and even if you won't, I must determine how best to get even with you for hurting me.

The PostMonster General already works for us, although he is indeed, very capable.

We may have to bring the lady of pain in to law down the law

You are a false prophet. PostMonster will cast you into the pit of dispair.

That was an elf, I think you'll find, dread Pride. And the elf in question expired nine thousand eight hundred and seventy six years ago... no, I apologise. Nine thousand eight hundred and seventy five. I omitted the year which nobody talks about.

I do not appreciated being corrected.

But I do appreciate being given a reason to hate you anyway.

You assert that the PostMonster General is not indeed capable? In that case, I rather suspect that it is you who need worry about being cast into any pits of despair.

Besides which, I think you forget that I holiday in the pits of despair, in my official capacity.

It is well known that you are not afraid of anything, but is it not a matter of concern for you that you demean yourself by publicly asserting your interest in the Runelord of Wrath's territory?

That doesn't follow at all. But, I digress.

I do assert PostMonster can hit the enter key after typing 'DELETE The Eight RuneLord'.

;-)

I was merely asserting myself upon your waste of my time and daring to correct me in my presence. And here you are, correcting me again. It is no wonder we cut off our membership at seven. This is exactly what I would repeatedly bring to their attention, this sort of inane stupidity. And what do they do, get all in my face and accuse me of not being open enough to discuss my problems with them. I would have explained my situation if only THEY had been open enough to listen, but I know they wouldn't have-

Why am I saying this to you!? Get out of my face!

Excellent. Just as I divined, you have come to assert control of this thread. I shall return to revising the Grand Subjugation License....
<politely bows out>

How dare he not exhibit agitation to match my own!

And what are you looking at!? You will all pay!

Runes are made to be stolen.

Finally, a reason for me to revive myself. Get in line, rune-haters.

Oh I don't hate them, They are nice and shiny and fit in my many pockets. I mean what are they going to do to me I already have their runes.

<pops back from Thassilonian studies just in time to see the red jester blow one of his contingent resurrection spells as half a dozen maximised runes of wrath detonate in the jester's pocket>

<shakes head>
Next time you might want to ask for work from us instead of picking the pockets of Runelords who know you're coming. For example, I have here a large sack of electrum coins which will be untrapped if your guild abducts 'Triumph the insult comic dragon' from the 4E threads, and drag him to your guild house. Oh, and we Runelords now have a sizeable helping of your blood with which to drive you insane if we have to; we're into ancient magic, after all, which includes old edition clone spells- not the nice ones where it's just a case of 'grow yourself a spare body...', but 'split the soul and cause madness from multiple personalities on the same plane'.
Spoiler:
...and I prepared explosive smurfs this morning...

Edit:
I will have foreseen it if you fail to abduct the dragon within 24 hours of this post, and the sack of coins in that case will turn out to have been entirely illusory.

Further Edit:
*information on the most recent sightings of the dragon*

I am not the VP. I have no intention of being sacrificed.

Technically as the supperior ruling class we aren't a "cult" per se, but since there are about 12 of us running around, you silly peons probably think of us as a cult.

Sure, your in.
