Er, Sheriff Vlad interjects attempting to mask his disdain for authority. Why would goblins go to all this trouble to dig up a dead priest? What was buried with this man that could be of so much importants?
At the sight of the sheriff approaching in what would appear to be an intimidation tactic, Vlad takes a casual stance with his one hand resting comfortably on his sword the other his belt. Don't like the looks of this...
Vlad smirks at the dwarfs words. Easy friends, we can take swings at each other once we take care of these little monsters he says as he comes out from behind the group.
I'm with Dorin on that one; I'd tell him to mind his own. I basically did. Their response was that they would just PM everyone instead... Side note. Is it just me or are the boards completely F'ed?
Maybe I jumped the gun then. This person rules lawered me then another person who posted right after me. It just seemed rude and I was irritated when I realized that they had been going through both of our character sheets number crunching to get us to power game. Or so I felt at the time.
If I may, I have an etiquette question for my favorite group. Am I in the wrong if I post a comment implying that other players should not be reading through all of another players stats other than mayber description and background? In addition to correcting all other players decisions during combat encounters?

Vlad stalks around the back of the building. He studies the surrounding area looking for anything out of sorts.

When do the players guides get released? The same time as the AP chapter?
I know it was the week end but we have some free reign here until the DM gets settled back in. We should finish up the task at hand. Make living arrangements, dinner and settle in. Not trying to pester, I just love the opportunity to RP the small stuff lol Also I am thinking about running a short module for experience. If anyone would be interested let me know. It will be a side project that I am worried I wont have the appropriate amount of time for. It's The Fallen Fortress and it seems VERY short.

What is it that you do for a living? he asks quickly turning to conversation back to Ionacu. Surely you are not from such a little place with so little money. He states rather than asks.
No Vlad and Ionacu are hanging around policing up bodies. I don't recall where the others are.
Just cuz the DM isn't posting while he works out his home issue (hope all is going well btw) doesn't mean we can't take the opportunity to RP some getting to know each others characters right?
What is your opinion of Council of Thieves? It sounds pretty awesome to me. Maybe I will buy it and prep it... Who knows.

Hmm Those are all very helpful points. I would like to dabble with something really short and I think I could keep up with a game that only posts every day or two. I could probably handle a little more than that but to get started and to avoid getting invested in something that would end up becoming a chore I think that would be my limit. I am also excited about Reign of Winter. I just stumbled upon it today lol. How are the maps done?
So time wise what does it take to DM one of these AP's? I know we have at least two experienced PBP DM's. I have DM'ed almost exclusively face to face.
I too agree. Vlad didn't pocket any loot for himself because he grew up without serious want.(Even tho he pretended to!) So it wouldn't really occur to him.

When the task has been completed Vlad carefully counts the items. He then turns to Ionacu, and any of the others nearby. As none of us are small enough to use this equipment, perhaps we can sell it to the local smith to melt down and reuse...

Vlad grimaces at Ethan's words. I will "tend" to the goblins. With that the swordsman goes about the grizzly task in silence. Piercing every goblin he comes upon with his blade, he then rummages through pockets to collect any valuables, which he stores in his belt pouch. Once he has ensured death and looted any items of value he collects all the bodies at the end of every street to be collected by cart or wagon.
I've a few minor wounds that should be okay in two or three days if tended properly. Vlad adds inspecting his wounds. He begins looking around for something clean enough to make hasty bandages from.
I will try to gather the cronies Vlad informs the others. He quickly crosses the distance to strike the nearest one.
Vlad eyes her for a long moment, reluctant to let her go alone. With a physical effort he turns and follows the band of misfits he has fallen in with.
Vlad feeling torn between wanting to help save the new cathedral and his urge to protect innocent people gives him a moments pause. Ultimately the lives of people are more important to him and he jogs to help Ethan and the woman, whom he flanks. We will get you out of here miss, don't worry.
His opponent down, Vlad spins around to face Duru's attacker. Sweeping low he attempts to take the goblin from it's feet.
Quickly! Overpower him! the swordsman cries as he executes his maneuver.
Vlad, irritated that his efforts at defense still managed him a glancing blow abandons caution and retaliates with a heavy thrust.
Just waiting but I'm here. The semester starts tomorrow tho so my posting may suck again.
Just wanted to clarify. Did Vlad's 2nd round attack hit?
