So I'm helping one of my players to build a monk for PFS play. We started with a basic monk (melee oriented), but then unleashed one came out, and as as we near the end of the level 1 important question rises:

Is there any reason to not rebuilt the character as a unleash monk instead?

Most of the advice (class guides etc) are for the ol monk, but has the change been so big that all of the advice is outdated? Some builds of course can't be done at the moment because they rely on alternative archtypes but is the baseline tips on attributes and feats still current enough?

I have a lvl 2 dwarf fighter and recently I've been thinking that he might look nice with a gun in his hand. I'm looking for advice on how to do it most efficiently. Do i just buy a gun and get grit with the amateur gunslinger feat or do I take a level in gunslinger? Should i take the gunslinger level as my next or wait until later? Are there good reasons taking more levels in gunslinger later on?

I'm running a beginners group on pathfinder and still trying o get a hang of the rules my self. We have a bard who didn't take read magic, in part because I forgot how cheap and usefull scrolls can be. My question is: Is there any reason why you cant use the take 20 rule on deciphering the scroll? And if not, isn't it reasonable that the vharacter has already deciphred all the scoll he/she has bought beforehand?
