Vika is quite happy to leave the horrid chamber of torture, although she is desperately anxious to try her hand at smashing some more weresharks. She boards her skiff and heads back to the enemy stronghold, finding herself in a large chamber that looks more like a museum than an armory. As excited as a child in a candy store, she rushes around grabbing weapons from the displays, until they start to spill from her hands.

Vika gratefully accepts a magical flight back to the ship, but can barely restrain herself and is soon back into the fray. First up is one of those dopey weresharks; how many mooks were turned? Vika impatiently bashes her way through the first one, but is immediately jumped by a few reeking buccaneers. Howling and furious, Vika tears through them and back through the scenes of recent carnage.

Vika goes charging into a den of wereshark pirates, or so she thinks... and stops short when she finds herself in the midst of a ghastly scene of torture and carnage. The hag that presides over the blood and pain smiles a toothless grin at Vika, who promptly knocks her foul head from her neck. There is a gun adorning the walls, but Vika ignores it - guns are Skizza's thing. Vika just wants to smash, and with prejudice.

Vika eagerly follows Varril into the shrine, hoping for some pre-battle blessings. The elven pirate astride a sea serpent that greets her is NOT a welcome blessing, however. The warrior is triumphant, for no one told her that seas serpents writhe quite so much in their death throes. She throws her body in the way of their ship, so so they can have a way home, and even that is not enough.

Vika follows the urchin that she had freed deep into enemy territory. They take a tiny lifeboat to try and sneak past the worst of the foes, but both need to leap from the boat when the water bubbles and churns around them, finally revealing a massive set of jaws intent on swallowing the small craft. Vika hurls a sword down its gaping maw; she is not sure if the thing is harmed, but but at least it sinks back into the sea.

The pair crawl onto a nearby beach, heedless of the fact that it is guarded by a huge one-eyed guardian. It is not long before cyclops and warrior are locked in battle, with a familiar outcome. Vika strips the foe of his breastplate, dons it, and continues following the urchin into the brush.

Vika leaps into the murderous den that she saw Skizza charge into; she hears gunshots and an explosion, which confirms she is heading in the right direction. The pirate that bars her way transforms before her eyes into a cross between a human and a crocodile, but Vika has no time for mere lycanthropes. Besides, she is one herself. She knocks the werecroc aside with her mace.

As she moves through the space, Vika finds a row of cages, half-submerged in seawater. One has a shivering human crouched in it, so Vika smashes the lock and sets her free. Her new companion promises to show Vika a way through, so the two set off together.

With the undead rising on all sides, Vika is quite busy bashing them away from all the pretty cabin boys and rum casks. The wereshark captain rises and tries to bite her at one point, but Vika is uncharacteristically prescient and ducks in time.

A well-dressed draugr gains the deck and draws a cutlass on the half-elf. Vika hurls several weapons at the thing, finally knocking it back into the sea.

Vika is happy to travel with Athnul despite heading into this terrible storm. The latter is always so calm... makes for pleasant travels. They are beset by a pair of pirate mooks once they arrive on the isle, holed up in some sort of gun emplacement, but Vika and Athnul easily brush them aside.

Vika grabs the gun while Athnul looks for shelter from the storm. There is an explosion of white light as a bizarre trap made of a living electric jellyfish goes off. Vika is lucky, though, in that the chaplain they brought with them happens to be in the way of the blast as it goes off.

Vika sights a pair of undead hands crawling toward them down the beach - what in all the gods is that all about?

Vika sets up a small lean-to on the shore of the isle; the crew members who travelled with her huddle underneath, teeth chattering in the suddenly-freezing winds. One of the crew begins a prayer-song to Geryon, which Vika hums along to. It actually raises her spirits, which is unusual for the half-elf.

Several magical lights emerge from the jungle, drawn by the singing. Vika entertains the others by batting the lights out of the sea with an oar, one by one.

One of the crew, a cabin-girl named Norek, squeals in fright as a tentacle reaches from the sea and plucks her from the lean-to. Vika howls and launches herself at what turns out to be some sort of octopus. Vika is fond of Norek, and being eaten by a freakish not-cephalopod is no way to go. The warrior smashes the monster and returns Norek to the camp.

And then the real storm is upon them!

Vika frowns at the approach of the storm. Without taking her eyes off it, she takes the stopper out of her canteen (filled with rum) with her teeth, spits it out, and drains the canteen. Only then does she look around to see the white faces of the crew. "Never mind, me hearties, let's cast about for an island on which to sit out this little rain!" She sees an isle not too far from Abrogail's Fury; waving curtly to the others, she hops in her skiff and heads for it. She pulls her skiff up the sand on the isle, only stopping when she hears crunching beneath the hull of her boat. She lifts the skiff to investigate; bones! Human ones at that. Ah, it's not just an isle, but a Cannibal Isle. The frown returns to Vika's face as she surveys the treeline and absently picks up an oar to wield as a club.

Varril rows the thoroughly exhausted Vika to the ship, where she patches up as best as she can. The warrior senses that they are closing in on the endgame of this nautical maneuvering and she goes right back out again despite the protestations of the crew.

The crew were probably right, Vika is not out long before she finds one of the primary captains of the enemy. As she has in the past, Vika hurls herself into the fight, using every ounce of ability and luck she possesses to defeat the Paralictor. Only one of the two remains at the end of the fight, and that one whimpers quietly to herself as she licks her wounds.

Athnul excellent eyes had seen a nasty storm on the horizon; eventually, even the duller senses of Vika can make it out. She impatiently digs through a chest on the deck to distract herself from the wait for a fight. She picks up a decent-enough looking kukri, but the clumsy half-elf drops it in the brine.
