Verdan reaches Morrow and is surprised by another demon. He hopes they aren't all dead but touches the man to release the healing energy into him.

Had to re-read the cleric rules. Sacrificing my 5th level spell to cast Cure Critical Wounds.

CCW on Morrow: 4d12 + 10 + 8 ⇒ (7, 9, 6, 12) + 10 + 8 = 52

Seeing the demon reaching for Morrow Verdan focuses on his own defense but tries to push by between the demon and the corner to allow Sobok to come up and attack.

Not sure what that would count as from the rules. I moved him on the map to where he'd want to go.

Out of range to heal Sobok again Verdan casts a spell to attack the demon. A heavy mace of force appears and attacks the demon.

SR?: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19

Attack if that beat the SR?: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (18) + 13 = 31
Damage if that hits?: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Attack if that beat the SR?: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
Damage if that hits?: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

"Kill it so we can grab Morrow and run!"

Verdan would switch if it was suggested. Does the demon only have one bow? Not sure why but I thought they had four arms and two bows.

Verdan touches Sobok again to heal him, then mutters "Just kill the thing so we can grab Morrow and run from here. I can't keep burning spells for healing for much longer. And if the rest come we're dead!" Heal and back up again.

Sacrifice Stone Shape.... CSW: 3d12 + 10 + 6 ⇒ (5, 11, 8) + 10 + 6 = 40

Knowing that the only chance Morrow has is to kill the demon in front of the group and pull him back Verdan speaks a quick prayer and sends healing energy into Sobok.
Sacrifice Searing Light for Cure Serious Wounds on Sobok. CSW: 3d12 + 10 + 6 ⇒ (11, 4, 7) + 10 + 6 = 38

Can't Sobok delay so we can all back off? Also, Wouldn't he have gotten an AoO as the demon stepped over Morrow to attack him?
