I miss a day of posts and the scenario comes to an end! It seemed a bit short but I really liked the flavor of it. It was a fun little dungeon crawl.

Varuna is fascinated by the change in the magical auras emanating from this place, and pulls out his book to jot down notes. He walks around with his wayfinder, detecting the auras and trying to make sense of what's going on. "Hmmph, very odd. This place. Goblins messed with things. hmmph? Not sure. Should explore further."

It takes everything within Varuna to stay calm and not immediately attack the goblins. He chooses to bite his tongue and let the others speak, knowing that his disdain for their kind would not be easily hidden.

Because of his wayang heritage, Varuna hates goblins with a passion. He'd kill them outright if he had the choice but he's smart enough to let the others talk if they choose.

Sorry about that, I'm back now! Varuna does speak Thassilonian and will readily share any of the spoilers with the group.

As they enter the hallway covered in murals, Varuna takes out his notebook and sketches a rough drawing of what they've found, jotting down notes here and there. As the other Pathfinders chat amongst themselves and get their briefing, a small creature emerges from the shadows near the end of the pier, where he had been intently studying the others. Those not paying attention probably didn't even know anyone else was there watching them. The small wayang is just over 3 feet in height, and covered in an old grey cloak. His features are tough to make out, as his face always seems to be covered in shadow. When he begins to talk, it comes out as a low gravelly whisper, his speech choppy. "Hmmph, Varuna. Here for investigation. Familiar with Thassilonian history, hmph. Connections to Shoanti? Maybe, hmhph." He shares what he knows with the party, though keeps his suspicions about the Shoanti and Rune Lord connection to himself until they are away from the jothka.

The boon I won is one that I never see myself using as I'm not a big fan of mounts. So I'm going to offer it up here if anyone else wants it, not looking for a trade or anything.

Mounted Tradition:
Mounted Tradition: You spurn commonplace mounts for a creature better suited to your personality and your culture’s traditions. If you have the divine bond or mount class feature, instead of choosing an animal companion from the list provided in the class description, you may instead call a mount from the list below so long as you are a member of the corresponding race. You must actually be a member of the listed race; the adopted trait or similar abilities do not grant you access to another race’s traditional mount. If the animal companion statistics for your race’s mount are not found in the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook, the source is listed below. You must bring a copy of the listed book to all games in which you use the selected animal companion as though access to the animal companion came from the Additional Resources list.

Varuna will activate his Light and Dark racial ability, so it will instead heal him.
