Far off in the Northeast of Primeva was the Thanedom of Valorin. In the First Age Hutan roamed around the world hunting, and wherever he went he brought Humans with him. When he was done hunting he would go away, leaving those Humans behind. In the cold Northeast a tribe of hunters quickly adapted to their new home.
In time mighty warriors called Jarls led the tribes and they fought each other. They united when ice giants, trolls, and other creatures attacked them. One of the Jarls was called Valor, and he could not be defeated in combat. He challenged all of the other Jarls to battle and he won.
The people declared him their Thane, and he ruled them with justice. His people named their land Valorin after him. He was filled with divine blood. Wherever Valor went his giant, white wolf Wokar went with him. He looked south to the rest of Primeva and knew his people could no longer ignore them.
