"Its simple really. Somebody wanted to attract the guards, and they chose not to make us the target. So that wouldn't be the Mages, perhaps its somebody who knows are plan and knows something isn't safe. Or perhaps, they want to cause a commotion causing us to flee so they can attack us while the guard is busy. Though that seems less likely. So i'm taking it as a good omen.

Which way did we come from.. Did we come from the north or south etc. If we came from the north, probably good indication that we were followed somehow. Unless its actually somebody helping us. Regardless, in our retreat, probably not a good idea to go back the way we came

"I would feel better if we got a feel for guard movements. While being invisible is great, who knows what kind of enchantments they have on inside the place that will make it null and voice. Maybe we can see if their are more guards that are trying to be hidden on purpose.

The darkness cooled the air. He thought he could feel his fingers that had be removed with his hand not long ago. Clenching his lone fist he continued, "With my magic shoes, wear it was broadcasting my location, that was probably the work of a mage with significant mastery. More powerful then the witches scar. It seems to me we need to take whatever precautions necessary so they can't find us so easily. Its one thing to be caught off guard by a mage with such mastery, but if I'm going to get pinched again, its not going to be by a witch like we have seen.

Looking over his shoulder for unwanted ears. "Anthony, I believe the woman you were speaking too. Rosuc mentioned a similar bit of information. I suggested that when that meeting take place, we utilize it as an ambush. Maybe we can rid this world of their assassins group once and for all. But for now, we need to prep for Maklo.

As they continue to walk into the darkness. "Anthony .. Sic, am I being paranoid in their ability to track us? You both understand the arcane better then I. What can and can't they do?

Vaek, having only listened to the mistress until finally speaks up. "Our course of action seems clear. Maklo needs to be dead by morning. While in theory it would have merit to split up to accomplish multiple tasks at once. As was pointed out, ideally we would lay low. Considering that the Mages thought they could use me as a decoy, they are bound to focus on Maklo now. It would stand to reason that they would increase the guard where he is being kept. Unless Mistress, do you feel that Dether can take care of Maklo by himself?"

Vaek rubbed his hand on his stump. "No, we focus on one task at a time, so no others are lost. Strength in numbers will win the day. Once Maklo is dead, then we move on to Firyin. Although, I am really looking to get my hand on Jumai." His anger filling the last sentence.

Feeling the pain of Mael's loss and Sorad deserting the crew. Vengeance truly was the only thing on his mind, but he felt it best to hide that in front of the Mistress.

I didn't want to appear greedy on the loot. Considering that It was my fault for getting caught and loosing everything. But those items that sorad mentioned, I could obviously use.

I need to go order another Wakzashi to be made since that will take about a week.

Ignatio is a handsome man best described as willowy and alluring. His hair is long, usually worn tied back with a leather strip to keep it from falling before his electric blue eyes. Ignatio wears a single gold stud in his left ear.

BACKGROUND

Ignatio grew up in Westcrown hating absolutely everything to do with the place. His father was a well to do man from a prominent Noble house. His mother? A commoner who caught the young Lords eye during a play. Needless to say, once the deed was done, there was no marriage to speak of, when the damage was discovered.

Ignatio was raised on and around the stage, his mother Elenna Aulamaxa was a famous actress, well regarded across Cheliax, as was her mother, Georgiana Aulamaxa ni'Vierra before her. The late Georgiana was widely regarded as having the greatest operatic voice throughout the Inner Sea regions, her aria's so hauntingly beautiful that Kings and Generals wept to hear them.

Ignatio grew in to his role naturally over time, driven by his hate for his father and the upper class. He began to despise the whole damn organization and it was not long before he found himself floating in less well thought of circles. He graduated from the stage to the streets and soon had learned the use of the rapier as comfortably as the use of a well delivered monologue upon the stage. He yearned for a way to make a change, actively seeking out any and all allies.

Ignatio began stalking the back streets of the city, offering aid and a spare coin to any he found in need, whilst staying out of the eyes of the law as much as was possible sometimes actively working at cross purpose to the constabulary. A master of disguise, he rarely came close to ever being recognized. It would not do for the heir to the Aulamaxa name to be caught circulating in the seedier parts of the city after all.
