I haven't ran a game in years but have played in many, and by far the most insidious foe was the medusan monk that had at least 15 levels up on any of the PCs. unfair? highly. In combat anyway. Took us hours to realize she was there to be reasoned with, not fought. especially dificult when there are PCs that think with their swords. Still makes me laugh when I thik about it.

as far as ironing them out goes, if you do so, put a thin cloth over it (like a bandana) and iron the map's backside. use the setting for the material of the bandana. i use to do this all the time with posters, and typically you'd never know it was folded by the time i was done.

ERR... That might be cool, only, I like them(James & Erik) so I would feel bad when they found out I couldn't write my way out of a paper bag. I would however be willing to break out my crayolas and draw the heck out of it! lol
But IF they did like the idea, I am lucky enough to know a couple of extremely talented writers that are big D&D fans...

That would be a great ongoing feature. NPC Villains and their m/o as well as an overview of their npcs, and if they have a base of operations, maybe even that with a map. Then it can be compiled annualy as an insert with some bonus material and titled something like... Villainous Volume or something like that.

You could always try sending a query... worst that happens is James or Eric likes the idea and sticks you with the task of writing it.

AHHHHH, THAT MEANS I SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT AT HOME THEN. SWEET. THANKS KOLDOON.

COULD BANDWIDTH BE THE REASON I CAN READ THIS MESSAGEBOARD AT WORK(WITH A KILLER CONNECTION) BUT I CAN'T GET THE SITE TO LOAD AT HOME (WITH MY DIAL UP)?

I often take some free time at work to check the message boards, and it certainly is faster at work, but I don't have problems from home using the dialup connection... except when I try to read the Failed Wil Save thread. But even that will load if I'm a little patient.
