Uzur carefully lands the ship away from the meeting circle, so as not to leave them surrounded by the drones if things go sideways. "Please Allow Me To Change Into My Armor Before Disembarking," he asks into the comms before heading to his quarters to arm up.

Uzur spends a long time before stepping out of the armory of the asteroid stash. A second doshko is now strapped to his back, plus a starknife, grenade pouch, and a pike taller than he is. "These Are Good Weapons. This Is Good." Uzur walks clanking back onto the ship.

WOOO SHOPPING SPREEEEE So Borak, I'm guessing this means you don't need my hunting rifle? ;) I'm wrapping up a crazy week at work and then leaving for a long weekend, so I don't know if I'll be able to get my shopping done before Monday... but I pledge to try my damndest

I got four arms - I can carry that longarm and the doshko at the same time ;) I'm also planning on moving up to a tactical pike when we have some funds, so I can donate the doshko when we're at that point and start focusing on getting them sweet, sweet AOOs.

but but but then my Opening Volley feat... :( Jk, I should be able to rock a pistol for that as well since I grabbed Versatile focus - shouldn't hurt my to-hit, though it'll drop my damage. What sort of pistol are you using?

Uzur stands from the kneeling position he took took to deal maximum momentum to the swing he took at the retreating small elemental. He stands confused at the large elemental, and drops into a defensive stance. "Shall This One Be Harvested Too?" He stares at it, coldly calculating his odds and not finding them to be favorable. Fear, however, is not a part of the equation.

Lord Borak the Despoiler wrote: "To admit defeat is to blaspheme against the Imperator," Lord Borak calmly states to Uruk, reminding him of is duty. "Death In Service Is The Only Exit," the kasatha says, finishing the phrase. He adopts the stance of the Rigel Whirling Defense and takes a measured swing at another elemental. He moves defensively towards the ship, as much as he can with the press of enemies around them. Attack: 1d20 ⇒ 4

I've been waiting til after the elementals moved to see if there was a tactical advantage I could get when they had been hit, but I'm worried that'll slow things down. I'll get some additional posts up. Uzur growls under the heavy helmet. He swings hard at the surrounding elementals. Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

Uzur sends a report to the other three, detailing the visual description and including a link to the vidscreen. "Awaiting Commands," he enters into the panel next to his piloting chair. The synthesized voice echoes throughout the ship.

Just trying to get my head around spaceship combat: So I got the higher piloting roll, so we go second in the movement phase - I still have the option of trying to pull a stunt to improve our situation further, but and then our gunnery phase, right?

Uzur takes the bridge to pilot the ship, though when he is behind the nav controls, he takes off the ubiquitous armor. He also locks everyone else out of the bridge while he is not in his armor and will only communicate by comms. Piloting: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Uzur accepts Borak's invitation, though he never drinks the liquor and his moves in King-is-Dead are pedestrian at best, and just plain bad at worst. He doesn't seem to listen to any of Borak's stories, though it's hard to tell as he seems to wear the face-covering armor at all times. He sets his room up in an unused storage bay, the smallest one he can find. The entire room consists of a cot and his armor's storage bay, and when he is not asleep in the bed or engaged in another task, he stands on the bridge, watching the viewscreens in a stoic pose.

Being yelled at - now that's something Uzur is used to. He drops to a kneeling position, frantically typing his response. "My Apologies, Master. My Words Were Uninformed." Uzur ain't a yeller... I'm sure it was brainwashed out of him at some point.

Uzur snaps open his comm unit again. "Dis Agree. The Robot Is A Revolutionary And Idealist. His Goal Of Android Freedom Runs Counter To Azlanti Truths Of Subject Races. He Is Not To Be Trusted. His Tactics Should Be Studied, Then He Should Be Destroyed. Alliance Would Be Foolish."

"We Must Attack The Pact." The electronic voice sounds from the corner of the room. The large shape might have been ignored as a statue for how still it stood during discussions. Now, however, the kasatha lifts one of its heavily-armored arms to type into some sort of keypad on another arm. "Sow Distrust. Dissolve Ties. The Pact Is Built Upon Sand. Smugglers Good - Already Outlaws. Who Else? Which Planets Among Them Would Turn If Given The Chance?"
Here's my kasatha soldier application, if it's still open - hoping to have him serve the Empire! Backstory below. From the files of Doctor Matorno: The subject proved to be extremely susceptible to the indoctrination protocols. This was to be expected - the species as a whole has a primitive fixation on tradition. We suspected this was a genetic proclivity, and the subject’s acceptance of Azlanti ideals as fact adds support to the hypothesis. From a purely ideological standpoint, the subject is a model Azlanti Empire citizen - compliant and docile, unquestioning in its’ acceptance of its own inferiority as a species.
Dense musculature makes this creature strong and fast. Combined with the training that the Empire approved for the subject, these traits make him an excellent combatant in both close quarters and in firefights. The subject favors melee weaponry, a relic of its’ species. The subject was given basic pilot training as well, in order to make it less of a burden during starship combat. It will attempt to wear it’s armor during flights, seeking a sense of security - do not tolerate such absurdities, as it will do so to the detriment of its piloting abilities. The subject tends to wear its armor constantly unless forced to remove it. Psychologically, the specimen serves as a blank slate. It defaults to violent responses even when a more nuanced approach would suffice, and is unrelenting against another combatant once combat has been initiated. Thankfully, the indoctrination protocols make it extraordinarily compliant to orders given from those it perceives as ‘worthy,’ typically ranked in order of intelligence (a side effect of so much time among the science division, we believe). It has only spoken on a few occasions during its lifespan, something we attribute to the solitary clinical confinement protocols of the home base - to facilitate communication, a custom speech module was implanted on the creature’s armor to allow simple statements to be made. It is my pleasure to pass the subject along for the evaluation and use by the Imperator. Long live the Empire. -Doctor Matorno
