26 didn’t manage it either.

Seeing the battle imminent and knowing his magic will be useless against the wisp, Ushi speaks a prayer of blessings on the party.

Ushi takes a step back before dropping the ineffective dagger, speaking a word of power that bursts over his opponent, avoiding catching Levin in the powerful sound.

Ushi feels his sight waver, before a surge of vigor breaks the necromatic blight! Stepping back, he turns the table on red and yellow!

Taking advantage of the stealthy approach, Ushi returns to the hybrid form to prepare his prayers.

Ushi picks his way through the mist, the extra speed of the wolf only helping so much.

Baring fangs, Ushi assists in driving off the spirits with furious barking!

Shifting fully into the wolf form granted by the celestial blessing, Ushi attempts to scamper quickly across the log!

Finally, a decent roll!

I loved the first chase back in Curse of the Crimson Throne, where my dwarven ranger/wizard had all the tools needed to make it cinematic and entertaining.

Then there was the werewolf chase in an EX scenario, which got mixed results from one party beating everything and catching up in the first check to another party fumbling and falling so far behind with no recourse.

I did like the typo on one of the later chases that let my undine swim through a door. But they've been a mixed bag of changing rules and frustrating/exhilarating results.

With Ushi and Levin aiding, that should be good enough.

This is why I love/hate chases.

I'm going to suggest we might need to shift to full wolf forms for the chase, as these DCs seem way out of our reach. The speed bonus should at least negate the high tier adjustment.

Ushi takes a moment to attempt stabilizing the fallen guards, but when that proves fruitless, he offers a prayer over their still forms.

Yeah, that's no fun. Hoping I don't have to go back for a couple years.

"Throw down your weapons and you will not be harmed." Ushi offers, before speaking out a prayer across the battle.

Seeing Greyveil handling the left, Ushi casts a burst of radiance at the raving inspector and his ally on the right.

Shifting slightly at the sudden layer of fur under his cloth and armor, Ushi nods his readiness, eyes focused on the shimmering breadcrumb trail ahead.

Finding a setting of Kalistocrat-friendly fare, Ushi takes his time enjoying the repast gratefully.

"This affair has brought us in contact with a great deal of information yet unchronicled. We are fortunate to be able to counter such malignance at the same time. Not all of our endeavors have been so lucky."

Not with the prestige class, no. Can't afford the hit to CL and the class features mostly don't gel with org play.
