I'm tremendously interested in playing a Shirren Operative (ever since it occured to me I can make Krombopulos Michael) and I'm curious to see what everyone thinks of the Shirren racial abilities as an Operative. Not the optimal race I'm sure, but I'm okay with that.

I'm not actually playing Krombopulos Michael. Rather a socially-anxious fellow who uses cloaking devices to avoid talking to people.

As soon as you said Rygel I immediately thought of Envoy but Operative is a really good one. Mechanic not so much because his throne-sled doesn't really do anything but carry him around.
Halfling might be a good race for this character, as well.

I was waiting for this ever since I saw the other thread, haha. I think the racial abilities are a little powerful but I think they're very appropriate!
For Turians, what would you suggest as a replacement for their Military Service trait if the character didn't attend boot camp (a la Vetra Nyx)?

Peers, whether they consider themselves allies or not, don't get a say. Don't care if it makes them uncomfortable or doesn't align with their philosophies or stirs up unresolved/unconscious feelings... doesn't matter. If peers take offense at how an individual presents their identity, then the peers have the problem (and aren't really allies or true friends either).

I think this is very well said. It also stands to reason the conflict presented by such a situation could make for an interesting story, if that's something the players want to explore.

Edit: I just realized your name is Ambrosia SLAAD, not SALAD. I'm sure you get that a lot.

This is actually almost exactly the build I was considering for my first character! The only difference is that I was going to pick up a Doshko as his melee weapon; a souvenir of the Battle of Aledra given to him by his father.

Eh, it just doesn't interest me. Like, nothing about the class interests me one bit. I'm sure it works at what it does but I just see it as round after round of "Get Em, make attack".

Yeah, I always like to play the party face. I'd play an Envoy if not for my intense dislike of the class.

Huh, seems I may wind up going with Technomancer instead. I'm pretty taken by the Mystic's class skills, truth be told, but not so much by the class itself.

That's interesting, I hadn't thought Overlord would be so useful. Truth be told I was looking at Mindbreaker first and foremost.

Hi all, I was just wondering if the community had any impressions on the Mystic Connections so far. I was curious after reading the Optimized Star Shaman thread and am currently trying to decide between Mystic and TECHNOOOOOLmancer. Maybe I'll be able to settle on a concept with some help from everyone!
