Well, this has been interesting.
I bought the current Humble Bundle that includes many Pathfinder Comics as PDFs and ePub (formats I like). This made me happy.
I looked into what was the chronological order of the stories, and saw that there were missing story arcs/issues. This made me sad.
So, I decided to buy what I was missing. This made me happy.
But digital versions of the Pathfinder comics aren't for sale at Paizo.com. This made me sad.
But, digital copies are sold, through Comixology. This made me happy.
But Comixology makes you use their app instead of offering it up in formats I like. This made me sad.
But it turns out that there are "DRM-free" back-ups you can download, including PDF. This made me happy.
But then I read that only participating companies allow these DRM-free downloads, and Paizo is not one of them. This made me sad.
Then after writing all this, and before posting, I realised that while Paizo is not on the list, Dynamite is, and that's the company I should in fact be looking for. This made me happy.
Then I decided to post this anyway. Just because. Thanks for reading.
TL;DR Don't bother reading ;)

Me: Scorching Ray
Target: Mirror Images and SR
Do you roll against SR before determining if it targets an image, or after (in which case, only if it targets the caster, otherwise poofing images).
My Googling is failing today. Has there ever been a campaign setting book for the place Rappan Athuk and other adventures are supposed to have taken place in?
While wrestling with the website and shopping cart and checkout, I tried to combine order 3295050 and 3306578, but it looks like it didn't go through that way.
Please combine them, send it all to the address for 3295050, and refund me the shipping difference.
Thank you!
So, I've purposefully made some sub-optimal choices for a character I want to play, but I'd like some advice on how to optimally build within these confines.
The character will be a level 7 Elf Eagle Shaman, or 6 levels of Eagle Shaman and splash a level of something (probably monk). The character's main shtick would be wildshape into a Young Roc (see errata for Eagle Shaman), grappling and then dropping enemies from the sky. The majority of encounters will be outdoors (Kingmaker campaign), but in tight spots would rely on summoning one of the Eagle options (again, see errata).
Thanks!
I haven't really played a monk before, so I was wondering if there were any good guides out there. Specifically:
1) Basics of how they work (up-to-date, so it includes the major clarification that happened a while ago)
2) Optimization
3) Multi-classing (things to keep in mind/specific classes and archetypes that go well with them)
Or short of that, feel free to give your own advice here. Specifically, the character I'm looking at would be a Weapon Adept (Quarterstaff). No point in suggesting other archetypes (unless they also would work in addition to Weapon Adept) or pointing out how sub-optimal the archetype and weapon choice is.
Thanks!
I don't really buy actual comic books anymore. But I do buy pdfs... :)
I haven't played this version. i'm sure it's a quality product, coming from FFG.
Speaking of quality products, I really enjoyed the d20 version and had a blast with multiple home campaigns and with The Living Force organized play.
Thanks Lisa and anyone else responsible for that game who could be reading this!
^_^
...please cancel all my subscriptions. I hope to be able to re-subscribe in the future.
Thank you.
There was a problem with payment originally, and I have since input a different credit card. Anxious that my downloads show up and the items get mailed out, ASAP.
Thanks!
A mascot change has been long overdue.
What sayest thou?
Per the suggestion of Goblinworks, I've created this thread. I haven't been following the blog, but I do know that Pathfinder Online is based on the Pathfinder (Golarion) campaign setting, but not based on the Pathfinder RPG rules.
What I do want to know is, what in PFO mechanically WILL remind me of the Pathfinder RPG rules.
Are there ability scores? Classes? Races?
What sort of things will make me think of the Pathfinder RPG rules in this non-Pathfinder RPG rules game?
It's so nice of those companies to make these for our Pathfinder Minis.
Please cancel my Pathfinder Battles Case Subscription.
Thank you!
Is this pre or post the price increase?
If a tree falls in the forest, and no-one is around to make a Perception Check, does it make a sound? The rules are unclear on this.
I don't understand where all the fighter haste comes from. The fighter is probably the single most versatile class out there because there are so many builds that one can make from a fighter. Be they the common board and sword, two-weapon fighters, ranged type fighters, grapple experts, etc...
Why do they even need haste, and who keeps casting it on them?
I have a few questions about CoC.
I've heard that players shouldn't expect to live very long. I picture "campaigns" being a series of one shot adventures. Is that typical, or am I off base?
Also, I picked up but have never played the d20 edition. Which versions have the best rulesets? Which editions have the most published adventures?
Also, are there other RPGs/settings that are very similar to CoC?
Thanks!
I just had some very unsatisfactory customer service with a different company online, and the issue was not resolved to my liking at all.
I just want to say thanks for being so awesome, and leaving me with a smile everytime I deal with you!
Thanks!
:)
I made this thread:

And the links in the post don't work. What's with that?

Can results in the Online Campaigns feed be excluded from the results in the Messageboards feed? I don't think we need the duplication. Sometimes I want to see what issues people are discussing, and instead I see a bunch of PbP threads... once in Messageboards and again in Online Campaigns.
Please cancel one of two Pathfinder Beginner Box Heroes Miniatures Sets I've preordered.
Thank you!
Okay, so the only reason I bother asking is that Paizo has the best customer service I've ever encountered.
I want to buy the ToH bundle for both myself and for a friend as a gift (I think he was going to buy it himself anyways, but I talked him out of it so I could get it for him).
If I buy them both, pay for shipping for both... I also get just one PDF under my account, right? Is there any way to gift the PDF from one of them to another account?
Thanks!
Goodwin's law has been around for a while, but I think there should be a new one:
Any discussion on the Paizo boards will sooner than later have someone call someone else a Troll or tell them they have a straw man argument.
It may not be unique to here, but it's prominent here. I prefer to see people having opinions and others disagreeing without such dismissive labels.
Anyone else?
Oh, and posts about this being trolling? Not funny.
HI,
I just picked up my last Paizo shipment from the Post Office and was eager to flip through my copy of Ultimate Combat when I noticed it was assembled upside down! Holding the book cover upright, the first pages are the ad pages, followed by the Index, etc, and all are upside down in relation to the cover.
Please help! Thanks.
After hearing about this tag in another thread, I added Pathinder Modules to my subscriptions. The Harrowing looks awesome, anyways...
These are what I have. Not sure you need them all:
.
..
Pathfinder Adventure Path
Pathfinder Campaign Setting
Pathfinder Player Companion
Pathfinder Modules
Pathfinder Roleplaying Game
Pathfinder Tales
My reason for creating this thread? Awareness... if I knew about this sooner I might have subscribed sooner. If you just need a subscription or two more to achieve this tag, think about it... it supports Paizo, and it means you're getting even more cool stuff in the mail...
Based partly on discovering that there is a Pathfinder Superscriber tag and partly on The Harrowing looking like an awesome adventure, I just subscribed to Modules.
In the checkout, it didn't seem to recognize that I have monthly shipments and it listed $6-$7 shipping. Can you look into this and make sure I'm not over charged on shipping?
Thank you!

This is what I would propose Improved Arcance Bond (I believe it was in Wayfinder #3) should read, taking into acount the Arcane Bloodline (even the Bonded Item text in the core rule book fails to account for this), the Eldritch Heritige feat, Divine casters, and multiple classes:
Level 5
The character may add his relevant spellcasting ability score modifier as a bonus to his CMD vs attempts to disarm or sunder his bonded object (if the character has more than one class that grants Arcane spells, choose one class to affect Improved Arcane Bond; if the character has no class that grants spells, it is based on Intelligence). Improved Arcane Bond grants a +2 bonus on concentration checks made to cast a spell or use a spell-like ability when casting on the defensive or while grappled. This bonus stacks with the Combat Casting feat.
Level 7
Improved Arcane Bond grants a +2 bonus on caster level checks made to overcome a creature’s spell resistance. This bonus stacks with the Spell Penetration feat. Improved Arcane Bond grants magic protection to the character in the form of a +1 resistance bonus on all saving throws. This bonus increases by +1 for every 3 additional arcane caster levels, to a maximum of +5 at 19th level.
Level 9
The character can cast one additional Arcane spell per day. This additional spell otherwise follows all the rules of the standard Arcane Bond ability.
Level 11
Improved Arcane Bond grants spell resistance, as the spell of the same name, to the character equal to 12 + arcane caster level (if the character has more than one class that grants Arcane spells, use the caster level of the class chosen previously to affect Improved Arcane Bond).
Thoughts? Is the author around?
Could someone in authority please provide examples of how this feat does and does not work, and provide any potential errata for it?
Pathfinder GMs and players everywhere thank you!
For people who don't have it yet, what are you looking forward to?
For people who do have it, what are your favorite things so far?
A crossblooded sorcerer has one fewer spell known at each level (including cantips)...
.
So, should the table look like this:
1st 3 1 — — — — — — — —
2nd 3 1 — — — — — — — —
3rd 4 2 — — — — — — — —
4th 5 2 0 — — — — — — —
5th 5 3 1 — — — — — — —
6th 6 3 1 0 — — — — — —
Etc...
Any other way you'd interpret it? Seems harsh to get a spellslot and only be able to cast Level-minus-one spells in it...
Also, I assume the fewer spell known would apply to Prestige Class levels, despite it being a Sorcerer class feature?
I received my poster in rolled tube... completely smashed in. I don't want to keep it out of the garbage let alone look at it...
Any suggestions? First off, I don't think it was Paizo's fault...
If I were to order another one, is there any way to guarantee it won't come like that again? At the very least can "DO NOT LET ELEPHANT'S PLAY WITH THIS" be written on the tube, or something?
Do you know if there's a way for me to get my money back for shipping and cost of the product from the USPS? Or would you guys have to do that, as the senders?
Thanks.
Nevermind, they're showing up when I'm adding items to go out with the next shipment.
I'm not seeing the option to ship items with my next subscription shipment, only to ship right away. Do I have to wait to a certain time in the month before that option appears?
When is the next edition of this book coming out?
;)
I guess there's no comments because Munchkin is awesome, and there's not much to say about that.
I played with M7: CWBH, Muchkin and some other promos and expansions, and Munckin Bites.
The Chimera card allowed me to be a Vampire Werewolf Changeling Elf Thief. Good times.
I'd pay as much as $50. Maybe more.

I know characters and builds vary, but what gear do you find very useful? Or very good for the cost? Please list by character class.
Wizard - Pearl of Power Lvl 1 (1000 GP), Headband of Intellect +2 (4000 GP)
Do any webfiction/novels overlap characters/events/dates...
I have a compulsion to read chronologically and can't force myself to read anything until I know the chronological order, despite being a subscriber and having bought the epub versions of the webfiction... please help :)
Would it be possible to have the Bandit Outpost Flipmat mailed to me in Winnipeg, MB, Canada, in time for December 26?
Your usual shipping doesn't have overnight I don't think.
I finally convinced 6 friends who have never played D&D or Pathfinder before to play in a Kingmaker Campaign, and would really like to impress them by having the proper map.
I've called all the stores I could think of in Regina and Winnipeg, Amazon.ca and Amazon.com (if they'd ship it to Canada, not sure) don't have it in stock...
Feel free to tell me it's too much trouble, but if you look into it, thanks!

Touch spells with Fighting Defensively and Combat Expertise: RAW vs RAI
Is there any reason you shouldn't be able to use these with touch spells from a balance perspective? I understand some people's flavor idea may not mesh with these...
I think the point was, when you melee, not ranged attack, you can...
Mostly interested which Pathfinder minis are used in Kingmaker, but a list of which ones are used in which Society, AP, and regular modules would be helpful too.
Which classic adventure does this resemble?

Spells refereed to as "Touch Attacks" seem to need a uniformity. This is how I propose they should work:
1) A "Touch Attack" spell grants one or more charges to the target (usually the caster). Charges last until delivered or a finite duration determined by the spell, whichever comes first.
2) While holding one or more charges, the recipient of the charges is considered armed with a light weapon.
3) To deliver charges of a "Touch Attack" spell, the recipient of the charges may either:
A) Make a single unarmed melee attack against a target's touch AC. If this option is chosen, on a hit the usual unarmed attack damage is not dealt, only the effect of the charge is delivered. The caster may do this as a free action when the spell is completed, if the caster is the recipient of the charges.
B) Make regular unarmed or natural melee attacks against a target's (normal) AC. Each hit delivers a charge. If the recipient of the charges' unarmed attack would normally provoke an attack of opportunity, the recipient is not considered armed for this purpose.
The wording's not perfect, but the ideas are there. This is based on my understanding of how touch spells should work. How does the above differ from the way the rules currently are? What spells don't conform to this? Should this be how they work?
As a subscriber, I have various amounts of things shipped to me from Paizo at various times. As an international customer (Canada), I end up paying a lot in shipping.
Can you please look in to adding an option of "Cheapest method available" for shipping for subscribers?
Thank you very much!
I have a situation with my order. I received everything in my order I was supposed to... AND a copy of The Witchwar Legacy, which I didn't order.
How should I proceed?
I miss Cheapass Games. :(
