Initiative: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20 Ulrik was in the middle of polishing his blade so when he stands and readies for combat it is in hand partially polished."He is right form up a defensive line." Ulrik will fall into a defensive formation and will ready an attack should a target present itself as a threat.

Ulrik whispers to Vi."My first thought won't work. But I got to thinking. In the south there is a Pirate Town who appears to be a very law abiding town. They enforce strict laws. The reason why is this keeps their true business hidden. I am thinking this town seems almost as odd as that one does. You follow me?"

"We are travelers none here truly knows us."Turning to Vi he looks to him as one might look to someone who completely missed the point."What I am saying is we go our separate ways with it appearing they thank us for our aid. Just in case any see us talking now. Then we investigate separately but stay near enough to each other as to aid each other. Limited Divide & Conquer."
Male Human(Ulfen) Cleric(Crusader) of Gorum
"We act as separate groups who just happened to meet on the road. We offered the young lady and her bodyguard a ride as it seemed they had been travelling for quite some time. WE then separate but stay close enough to support each other. It was a tactic my group regularly used when investigating when disguised."Ulrik then Grins at the fact that he seems to have came up with a plan the others hadn't come to.

We are currently working on getting started. Basically each player will be controlling their own house. You will get 1PC/10 Influence of your house. You will basically be able to play multiple characters for your house. The locations available are The North, The Westerlands, The Riverlands, and The Mountains of the Moon(The Vale). Basically the southern part of The North and then the northern part of the other 3.

It is a unique system. Mostly based on a Pool of d6s. So say I have Fighting 5(Long Blades 2). I would roll 7d6 and keep the highest 5 d6s. It has 3 Sub-Systems: Intrigue(Role-Playing/Negotiation "Combat"), Combat(Basic Skirmish based Combat), & Warfare(Large Scale Unit Based Skirmishes or Mass Warfare). It is very open. No Classes. Instead you choose Roles. So I might be a Warrior/Leader while you play a Schemer. I would flourish in Combat & Warfare while you would flourish in Intrigue. It has no magic, or at least no common everyday magic like Pathfinder. Instead Magic is strictly a Narrative based aspect. It also has detailed rules for building Noble Houses. In the Night's Watch Expansion it introduces rules for Night's Watch Castles/Forts and Wildling Tribes. It as a whole is surprisingly Abstract yet Realistic. Also Age is a factor of your PC. Adult isn't the basic default like it is in 3.5/Pathfinder. So you might be an Adolescent Character while mine is Middle Aged and we have different things. I rely on my Abilities while you rely on Fate, via the Destiny Point Feature, to survive. For good examples of the 5 Roles: Schemer: Petyr Baelish Warrior: Robert Baratheon Leader: Eddard Stark Rogue: Arya Stark Expert: Maester Luwin

"True..."Ulrik smacks his forehead when he makes a realization. And gathers everyone together. Then speaks quietly enough to where only they can hear."What if the Mine part wasn't a Warning but a Trick! What if they want us away from the Mine so as not to obtain the thing that can stop them or learn more of their plan!"

@Rogar: 2+2=Fish! But what I am getting at is: Was he overly friendly (Petyr Baelish). Just diplomatic friendliness (Me to a lot of my Exes). Or merchant friendliness (Most Employee's at your local Wal*Mart). These are surprisingly noticeable. At least/especially in retrospect. Also this is post 666! Woo!

Ulrik is silent, hanging on to the side of the Wagon with his foot on the lower support beam for the axles, as he thinks on the information gathered so far. He then sighs when he hears Vi's comment. He then chuckles as he hears River's faint comment. He then has a faint realization of a passing comment one of his companions made. He then speaks to Rogar as clearly as possible. "Master Rogar, you seen the one who lent us this cart didn't you. What was he like? Was he overly friendly. More so than someone normally would be?"

Well I was planning on doing it in-character and have it changed based on him updating notes and everything. Heck, I have some Leather Journals that are, still, in use in my First Campaign I am Playing in. (Still Going Strong after 3 Years! Woo!). It is filled with Doodles and Writing. I think I am on Number 7(That is Character 7's Journal) which basically recollects and summarizes the facts from the Previous Journals.

I was trying to get caught up. Sadly my phone wouldn't display the previous posts correctly. That was the reason for the synopsis. That and mainly for me to make a Google Doc for us to record our findings in... On another note: I hate travelling unexpectedly.

Really I prefer the ASoI&F RPG, or rather the Chronicle System, over Pathfinder... If only because it has Intrigue(RP Combat) and Warfare(Mass Combat) Systems. ...? @River: It is unconfirmed as far as I remember... I just got my own personal copies and haven't gotten completely through ADoD. Seems Tyrion suspects it was Joffrey who was looking to impress his Father. Also I love Bronn and Oberyn...
