Perception
Ulric moves out of the house. He had no intention of getting too deep insude the dilapidated structure. Now seeing how precarious it was within he suggests the same to the others. "This place be damned. The longer we linger within the greater our peril. Not only from what ever stirs above but any great movements, such those of battle will surely bring the structure down upon us all. I leave, the decision to follow is up to you."
"I would say just burn whatever it is out of there, but that would be forsaking whatever might be of some use to use within."

Will Save vs DC12 "This place is truly cursed, I feel it seeping into my very skin. Forward but be wary, I have an ill feeling something bad corrupts this place." Perception

Upon arrival to the prison once a first view is had. "Foreboding looking place, but something within me stirs at the prospect of challenges within. With my lady guiding me, if this is the source of the undead and with you each as companions then I am most happy to venture forth." He gives a smile to Koal remembering her magical aptitude which had aided him so greatly against the Professors restless corpse. "I must agree with you in your plan of approach. Watery depths just don't need the kind of exploring I would do within it. Just another pile of bones in rusted armor is not the sort of result I am looking for today nor in the future for that matter. And as for scaling any of the walks, again, armor seems heavier the higher above the ground I get. I don't want to be exhausted before the fun even starts. I am entirely in support of the dry, low lying approach."
Ulric accepts the offering of the master crafted armor with great thanks. He thinks it best to try it on immediately to see if it does however infact fit correctly. He brims in a grand smile as the wonderfully crafted armor settles neatly upon his frame. He truly appreciated the craftsmanship and the quality of the equipment. He found his movement was not as impeded as one would expect and he could hardly contain the grin at his temporary gift.

Ulric turns to Koal as he watches the animated dead fall to her magical assault. "I am truly glad for your knowledge in such powerful arts. I believe on my own I would have fallen easily before it's perverted strikes. You have my thanks." He turns then to Kendra. "And you too my lady. Your arts preserved me further. To you also I am grateful." The road ahead lay free of any further hazard and for this he was relieved. He would see to his wounds upon his return. He had however learnt something during his fight with the undead. His shield would prove more useful if he were to stand as the wall against an enemies advance upon his companions. He would learn in time to be a true shield to those he counted as allies.

Ulric's vigor renewed at Kendra's touch and he pushes his attack confidently, knowing that his allies were at his side. "Thank you Kendra. This thing is resilient and I may need of your healing hands again." Ulric longsword attack Ulric swings again but with no effect. Inwardly he knew he would need to focus and actually aid his companions. It was not enough to just keep this thing off them, he wanted to be apart of righting this wrong. Ulric longsword attack
Ulric, was not as concerned about the creatures ability to use magic but more so the damage the magic had just caused him. Magic was not unfamiliar to him but he had dealt little with threats that had used magics in his work. To him, it was just another hard hitting foe that Pharasma would aid him in putting to a true death. "Let me try to hold it off you and together with Pharasma's aid we will send this THING on."

Ulric will Charge Bullrush the professor. He will pull his shield and ready it leaving his longsword still equipped.

Ulric is grateful that Kendra is no longer such a burden on his efforts. He let her travel under her own steam as soon as they were in free running space. He was sure she could out pace him and in this situation, distance gained between self and the horde was preferable. To Kendra, "Lead the way then Kendra, may speed be your ally. I will bring up the rear. If you come to trouble, look to me for aid." To himself, Did we provoke this? How could so many of these abominations exist within limits of a temple of my lady and not be uncovered. My fear of a corrupted temple grows. Run not to the temple folk for I fear they will not receive you with open arms. I cannot let these people flee to a supposed haven only to be shut out and slaughtered. Ulric booms forth in as loud a voice as he can project. "People, hope not for save haven at your temple of Pharasma. Run there and beg for entry but do not linger. If the doors do not open for you, continue to flee." Diplomacy
Ulric's focus is purely on getting Kendra out of town and back home.
"Kendra, let go right now or you will die for the sake of your crazed panic!" Diplomacy If she refuses to release then he will remove her. CMD He will then remain between Kendra and any threat, not moving more than 10ft from her side.
With no immediate threat to himself or Kendra, Ulric is not too concerned about Kendra's panicked grappling for now. He attempts to use his composure to calm the clinging female. "Calm yourself lady for your panic may prevent me being able to defend us both." He looks about whilst he is hampered for any emerging threat within the room. Perception
Ulric involuntarily and only momentarily ducks low at the sound of the explosions. Having seen the torch explode he knew panic may ensue so his eyes stay toward Kendra, he remains where he is. Perception
Sorry I haven't replied earlier Conor but I am just sooooo green with envy right now. Your trip sounds amazing and Canada being number one on my to do list just makes wish I were heading there soon too. Your orca experience would have been surreal. Bear's freak me out so I wouldn't enjoy that so much. Anyway, enjoy the rest of the trip.
GM: Ulric has remained within a manageable yet respectable distance of Kenra the entire day. He was well use to his role but not so much in densely populated surrounds. Regardless, the signs he was looking for were all the same. He managed to pick at the food, never letting himself be truly preoccupied by the food.
Perception Everyone freezes when the doors and windows slam shut. Ulric too is taken completely unaware by the event. He was not expecting anything like that to occur. Reflexively his hands immediately fall to his flail and he leaves his shield upon his back for the time being. He calls to Kendra. "Come to me my lady. Keep low till we know what this is." Ulric then scans the crowd giving warning eyes to all and decides to equip his shield.
Ulric doesn't care to eaves drop. His attentions are elsewhere, scanning at a respectful distance as requested. "Forgive me m'lady, as you request, I shall step apart and watch from a more comfortable range." Internally Ulric thought otherwise and was on edge due to the separation. 'How may I protect you if not nearer to you. Women, no concept of the way things work in my world. As you wish m'lady.'
Ulric suits up in his usual attire which is always more tailored to martial readiness than social pleasantries. He will take his freshly polished weaponry and shield as he's is sworn to protect the lady of the house. He will ask Miss Kendra to buy his required items on his behalf so that he can keep a watch. He certainly felt glad to be getting out after so many days of downtime.
Once Ulric recovers, he will use his Heal +2 to hasten your recovery.

Ulric asks if he may do anything in return for the care.
When Ulric does eventually rise. He will shave his stubble and make for a hearty meal to fill his well. He then sees to his equipment, cleaning, polishing and sharpening as is needed.
Ulric will make a Survival check after our attempts to cover our tracks is made. This will pickup anything we missed so we can make final touches to cover our activities. Survival

Ulric will request a heal spell to cure his damage (3).
If not, Ulric will revise his rest. He will take a full 8hrs rest to gain back a DEX point. "This poison has dulled my senses. If anyone has any special skills in healing such afflictions, I would beg your aid. Pray keep an eye over me whilst I rest and tend my wounds please."
Ulric will rest till after sunrise, unless matters of import arise and as per my instruction, someone wakes me.

Ulric attacks the critter with his longsword.
Crit Fumble Reflex Save As Ulric stabs at the critter his aim is off and instead the forceful plunging blade jarred in the cracked masonry almost disarming him. Thankfully, he is able to maintain the grip on his sword. Ulric then steps to get a better position to attack the bugger.

Ulric grimaces but suppresses a yell in shock reaction to the dangerous critter grabbing his leg. "The time to upgrade this armor is nigh."
Ulric will take the lead. He will move forward 15ft (MA) and ready and action to attack any dangerous hostile creature in melee range (SA). His Sunrod still in the shield sconce, illuminating the way. Perception
