I was thinking of taking it to the city of Sigil. I have already foreshadowed it, but not that anyone would recognize. I'm thinking that the defeat of Adimarchus will bring a power struggle, including Grattz. Different Factions may try to get the party involved on their sides. Don't know yet. Just an idea.

I had a wizard that accidently became a lich, went mad, and did not know he was a lich. He had been a famous undead fighter and thought they were out to get him and holed up in his tower. He used a hat of disguise to look young, and now it mad him look living.

Well, long story short, when the party found the wizard, the rogue decided to stop any castings by GRAPPLING the lich! LOL! One paralyzed and invisible PC to go, please!

I like playing with experienced gamers.. They have so much to unlearn. . .

It occurs to me that a copper dragon might resemble a green if he were too oxidized. .. . .Making him a target of those who would not believe him to be seriously not a threat. I like the time limit idea and the slow change idea. Of course, you could reverse the advancement rules in the DM's guide and make him a level equivalent dragon, with the same CR as his character. He looks big and tough, but isn't.

My party plays very well and often surprises me with novel ideas that trounce the units I am running. Has anyone run Asylum yet? What did you think were the weak points? What did you think would make it better? I am offering the party a side adventure first while Cauldron rebuilds a little and things start to happen again, so plenty of time to spice asylum up. I rewrote the final scene of shatterhorn to include a gated balor, and gave the spellweaver a timestop, but they still managed to capture not only the spellweaver, but Embril as well. Big time heroes back at the ranch, of course, and wealthy as all get out.

The paralyzing spit is a powerful tool. Later in the series, the wizard in my group's party was flying and invisible when he was hit and failed his save. He ended up bumping another character until that character cast see invisibility and helped him out! I would hope the caster used all his am fields before meeting Val, but smart play is smart play. My party used the am field to advantage in the soul pillars, when confronting a mage in a small room. The sorcerer cast the field, and the paladin joined him in interviewing the trapped caster.
