Male Human Inquisitor 1
Round One: Tyros steps into the chamber and calls upon his mystical heritage to cause a cone of searing flame to shoot from his fingertips, striking the two closest orcs before him. The half-elf then draws his fauchard to threaten any enemies that may approach. 5-ft step to square E,8. Standard action to cast Burning Hands to strike the orcs in squares H,7 and H,9. Move action to draw fauchard. 20% Spell Failure chance (1-20 fails): 1d100 ⇒ 59
NOTE: Tyros threatens an AoO with his 10' reach weapon (fauchard) against any orcs who attempt to close to melee with him - although the orcs are also wielding reach weapons, so the point is probably moot.

Shall we assume Tyros in the lead, followed by Torric and Zababa, then Melima and Harold, with Tam bringing up the rear? "Master Zababa? I appear to have found a tripwire here near the bottom of the stairs. Would you care to examine it?" Tyros whispers to the halfling behind him.

Round One: Tyros takes a step to the side and slashes his fauchard at the monstrous skeleton. 5 ft step to square H,27. Standard action to attack giant skeleton with reach weapon. Fauchard Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24

Standard action to attack new threat from 10 ft away with reach weapon, moving to set up flank with an ally if necessary. Fauchard Attack: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 4 + 2 = 11

BT, are we battling four (now two) giant centipedes or a centipede swarm? Please note: Tyros stepped back to square J,48 last round and killed the centipede in L,50 with a reach weapon (assuming it was a giant centipede). Would any other centipedes have provoked AoO from Tyros when they moved into melee range with him after he moved to J,48?
Male Human Inquisitor 1
Round One: Unsurprised by the sudden appearance of the giant centipedes, Tyros takes a step back and slashes at the nearest vermin with his fauchard. 5 ft step back to square J,48. Standard action to attack centipede in square L,50. Fauchard Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Tyros' AC: 16

Tyros here! I took the masterwork chain shirt and purchased a masterwork backpack. Tam can use the CLW wand, and I vote for him to hold onto it. I took a level in paladin, so I can also use the CLW wand if needed. We also have four potions (CLW at CL 3rd, Barkskin, Enlarge Person, and Oil of Magic Weapon) to assign, as well as the +1 Longsword.

Tyros is down to 3 hp and could definitely use some healing. Tyros recovers his senses and picks up his fallen fauchard. "My thanks, and well met, Master Tam!" Tyros thanks the priest. "It appears we owe our continued well-being to both you and Master Zababa. Your timing was most fortuitous!" "As to what happened, I can only assume that those false guards were in league with these slavers that we captured in the ruins of Castle Whiterock," the half-elf answers Tam's question, motioning toward the captive slavers in the caged wagon. "We plan to return to explore Castle Whiterock once we turn these miscreants over to the proper authorities in Byrny and re-provision. Your skills would be most welcome in our endeavor. Would you care to accompany us?"
Male Human Inquisitor 1
Round One: Tyros steps forward and quickly casts a spell, causing a cone of searing flame to shoot forth from his fingertips and wash over the spell-casting guard captain and the two guardsmen behind him. The half-elf sorcerer then draws his fauchard as the flames die away. 5 ft step to square K,48. Standard action to cast Burning Hands; 15 ft cone should catch the Guard Captain in square L,46 and the two guards in squares J,45 and L,45. Move action to draw fauchard. Burning Hands Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3; Reflex DC 15 halves Tyros' AC: 14

I've got a gnome archivist bard with an 8 strength in another PbP. Even without Weapon Finesse he's been able to contribute significantly in combat with buffing spells, flanking, and using Aid Another to grant allies either a +2 to hit or +2 to AC against a shared foe (only have to hit AC 10 to successfully Aid Another). And if you drop Weapon Finesse now you could always pick it up at Level 3. A cleric would be welcome as well - perhaps one with the Knowledge domain to reflect Zababa's love for books and stories. Although I really see him as more of a bard (either as an Archaeologist, an Archivist, or without an archetype.

"Ah, yes! That you did, Master Zababa. I'm afraid my wounds must have sapped my memory as well. In that case, with no healing magics available I believe we should head back to town to recuperate," Tyros recommends. "Don't worry, my friend," Tyros adds, noting Zababa's crestfallen expression. "We will return to continue our explorations as soon as we are fit. Perhaps the authorities in Byrny will offer a bounty for these slavers - we could use the money to purchase wands of curative magics so that we won't be forced to scurry back to town every time we're wounded." The half-elf pauses to glance around at the ruins of Castle Whiterock before adding, "I have a feeling that we will receive many more wounds as we continue to explore these ruins."
Male Human Inquisitor 1
"If we were to find any healing potions or other curative magics among the slavers' possessions I would be willing to stay here for the night. Otherwise I suggest we secure the prisoners and head back to Byrny." What time of day is it? I believe it's 25 miles back to Byrny; how long will it take to get there by wagon?
Male Human Inquisitor 1
"Let's check around for any papers or other signs of who these slavers were working for. Master Torric, do you wish to interrogate the ones who are conscious? After that, perhaps we should head back to Byrny - unless you all would rather camp here? We would need to set watches to guard the prisoners and keep an eye out for any more of their number who might return," Tyros suggests. Tyros can attempt Heal checks to stabilize the unconscious slavers, although with his Wisdom and having no ranks in the skill he's likely to do more harm than good. Heal check: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (18) - 1 = 17 And of course, we need to loot the dead and captured slavers.
Male Human Inquisitor 1

Round Four: Tyros' claws retract into his fingers as he reaches down to pick up his fauchard. Move action to pick up fauchard. Fauchard Attack vs. Slaver V,53: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
If Torric's attack dropped the slaver in square V,53: Giant-Tyros steps over Zababa and moves close enough to threaten the two crossbowmen with his fauchard. Second move action to move 25 ft to squares V/W-53/54, within range to threaten AoO with fauchard if either crossbowman tries to fire or flee. Tyros' AC: 12; partial cover from wagon if he attacked slaver V,53
Male Human Inquisitor 1
Round Three: Tyros slashes his fauchard at the half-orc monk as the attacker approaches within reach of the giant sorcerer's weapon. AoO vs. half-orc monk: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
If the AoO drops the half-orc monk: Tyros turns his attention to the monk that dispatched Hector, and slashes his weapon at the slaver. Fauchard Attack vs. Monk V,53: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
If the AoO DOES NOT drop the half-orc monk: Tyros drops his fauchard as he focuses on his draconic heritage. Gold-tipped claws sprout from his fingertips, and he swipes at the half-orc with both hands. Free action to grow claws; the claws are treated as natural weapons, allowing Tyros to make two claw attacks as a full attack action using his full base attack bonus. Claw #1 Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21

Round One: Tyros catches Eider's eye and nods for the druid to join him as he steps behind the wagon. "Let's give the wagon a shove through the door so we can move in behind it," the sorcerer suggests. Assuming Eider joins him... Putting word to action, Tyros gives the wagon a might shove. Move to squares L/M-52/53; motioning for Eider to move to squares L/M-50/51. Assuming Eider joins Tyros, standard action to shove the wagon forward through doorway enough (to squares S/T-51/52) so that Hector may move around it this round and we may move around it next round.
Male Human Inquisitor 1
"I did not consider the thought of anyone riding in the wagon, although that does present an interesting option," Tyros replies to Zababa's question. "I thought perhaps Hector, Eider, and I would push it through the doors, while Torric, Lady Melima, and yourself attack the miscreants through the breach in the wall. I can cast a spell to give myself the stature of a giant to boost my strength. I could cast the spell on Eider as well, if he wishes."
